Ugh I'm waiting too long to start this hormone shit.
I'm mulling over it in my head a bit and it's something I think I want to look more into I'll bring it up with a professional or something
I guess I have some luck knowing and trying to start early but, its the NHS so who knows when I'm starting
I havent posted here in a while but today I was cute [t]https://41.media.tumblr.com/351ca9e0ca95e94254d1bbc3fb8c6d5a/tumblr_nxbix9f4me1rsyvmao1_1280.jpg[/t]
Also can anyone help me understand transphobia What about transgender people makes bigots flip into a frothing unstoppable rage?
Also can anyone help me understand transphobia What about transgender people makes bigots flip into a frothing unstoppable rage?
ignorance, and not necessarily the intentionally hurtful kind. and then there's the crowd that refuses to accept facts or respect different people. and then there's the over-analytical crowd that tries to pick apart transgenderism so they're 'excused' from being transphobic on the grounds that transgenderism 'doesn't actually exist'. and then there's purists that think it's a sin against man, often religious but not necessarily. on occasion (very rarely though) i'll hear about some person with a whole bunch of biology/sociology/psychology accolades being pissed off at transpeople for "ruining" the human race. [editline]4th November 2015[/editline] in other words, these people never actually spoke or spent time with transpeople so they're fearful (in the broadest sense) and unknowledgable of them.
Yep, I get cravings to try on some tights now and again - and from a little experience, I know the feel of heels is amazing.http://www.feminization.us/female-breast-suit-c-2.html/?ref=fang (User was permabanned for this post ("bot" - Orkel))
I feel so cute and feminine today. My new hips are just adorable. I still wonder why I got the bone part of the hips above my waist, but not the fat part of the hips near my pelvis, though.
I wish I'd known earlier in my life so I could have had puberty blockers. I'd be on hormones by now.
I just wish I had known that there are other people like me. It would have saved me from a lot of unnecessary anguish and confusion.
I wished I had realized it was something I couldn't ignore forever. I knew pretty early on, I just didn't care. Interestingly enough I actually spoke to Bailey Jay when I was a young teenager, about hormones. I just thought I'd never be able to afford it. To be fair, I still can't afford it. But it would have been cool to have put in an effort all those years, instead of just crossdressing alone and never telling anyone.
Also can anyone help me understand transphobia What about transgender people makes bigots flip into a frothing unstoppable rage?
Narcissism. Basically the idea if you ain't like me, something the matter with you. Narcissism however is a result of someone who is broken inside and only way they can get what they want is bring you down.

Why is it every time I gather up the courage to come out and talk to my mom about my dysphoria, something happens? Earlier this year, I was about to do it and Caitlyn Jenner came out and I had to sit there and listen to some horrible shit about her and the fact that "if you don't get a period, you're not female" "you can't chop off your penis and say you're a girl now" and that espy award that she "stole from" whoever-the-fuck who-gives-a-shit. Today I was going to and now my brother has basically moved back in, and is always near her and I can't get a moment in edgewise. Plus I don't think I can handle the stuff they would say about it. I've become a coward again. God, sorry for all the negative posts. I think 80% of my posts in these threads is whining.
The best thing to come out of Jenner is that now when she shows up on a TV transphobes will just out themselves and you know who to avoid. Like my mom... :disappoint:
The best thing to come out of Jenner is that now when she shows up on a TV transphobes will just out themselves and you know who to avoid. Like my mom... :disappoint:
My mom was the only one I would be comfortable coming out to. She was the source of all those lovely quotes up there. I really don't know how she stands on trans people. She also said that the only reason she didn't like Jenner was (aside from all that award shit) was that she was too old to be trans, and that she's ok with young trans people. It's confusing. [editline]a[/editline] Oh well, something positive from me for a change: I asked if I could borrow her black nail polish and she said unflinchingly "Which kind? I've got two." Little things! :cat:
The best thing to come out of Jenner is that now when she shows up on a TV transphobes will just out themselves and you know who to avoid. Like my mom... :disappoint:
Every one is lovable.
Oh I love her. But if you ask her, she'll admit to being racist.
Oh I love her. But if you ask her, she'll admit to being racist.
I love honesty..... What I meant why she would reject you cause you are lovable. As for racism? Welll...... I am not going talk about it. All I can say is a few people who raised me werent racist but now are.....
I'm sorry guys, I have no beef with "Narcissa," but this sort of thing makes me cringe a bit. Am I wrong? Transgenderism and transsexualism almost seems like a popular fad... I don't want to be a bigot, though. I'm open to new opinions if you can educate me.
I don't get the cringe bit but I do agree it does kind of seem to be getting... popular lately? Maybe people are starting to get a bit more open minded nowadays some more are coming out?
The world is becoming more accepting and defensive of transpeople so I'm not surprised more people are willing to come out and not repress it.
Also can anyone help me understand transphobia What about transgender people makes bigots flip into a frothing unstoppable rage?
Pretty much people grasping onto tradition. There isn't really much biological science to back up transgenderism so arguing about that is kinda pointless. However at the same time it's quite clear that being transgender harms nobody and that all of the problems faced by transgender people are caused by intolerance in society. So to solve these problems people just need to be more accepting and tolerant.
Ugh I'm waiting too long to start this hormone shit.
I know that feel, been getting bounced around for about a year. Seems like the end of the waiting is in sight but I thought exactly that a year ago.
I don't get the cringe bit but I do agree it does kind of seem to be getting... popular lately? Maybe people are starting to get a bit more open minded nowadays some more are coming out?
woah cross-thread quoting
Never thought I would ever actually considering self medding, but when prospects look like 21-22 at the earliest, I'm feeling more open towards the idea. Not sure if you can actually even import the stuff here.
