Does this all vary a ton from person to person? I've seen a lot of trans timelines where the person's facial structure looks completely different after just a few months of hrt. Or is it just the photography that makes it seem that way?

It can definitely vary quite a bit. That chart is good for a general estimate of seeing how long HRT takes to change your body, but not much else.

same with testicle shrinking, lowered libido (in like, the first 2 weeks; very quickly), softer skin, reduced muscle (I'm quite weak now) and I've got slight hips
i cannot talk about this with my trans girlfriend as she's already 2 years on hormones and doesn't even have some of the progress I'm having (just 3 months in) and its depressing her
I have no strength whatsoever now, and no breasts, but my hips grew a bit this week.
I'm 6 months in.
Honestly, try not thinking too much about how long it will take for stuff to happen, it will just make you sad and angry.
I'm 3 months in and my breasts are almost A cup as well.

can she not see a doctor about perhaps needing a higher dosage?
I'm guessing it's a good idea to stay active and/or lift if it makes you weak
haha can't lose muscle mass if you don't have any to begin with!

"YOU MADE ME"
Well my doctor just told me that i should probably start thinking about buying a bra now.
Lucky you.
I need to use a bra everyday because my nipples are super sensitive after starting hormones. My breasts are non-existent, so I'm stuck wearing a too tight sport bra.

I guess it just varys from person to person. My doctor said i had great breast development for only 3 months
My envy is crazy.
Yeah, but you got to be careful of the creeps that are only looking for transgirls. I've met a fair amount of people that are only interested in me after they learn that I crossdress. I mean granted, not everyone is going to think that is cool or attractive, but when that is the only reason you feel attracted to me it gets pretty weird, fast.
Then again, maybe I'm just in a bad crowd sometimes. These people usually lack the subtlety to even attempt actual flirting and just go in hard. (pun intended?)
y'know what would be neato
if people wouldn't be ashamed of their attraction of transgirls and wouldn't try to keep it hidden
Being called "gross chasers" is a sure-fire way people stay reluctant to admit their feelings. Happened to me when I was genuinely attracted to her (this was a few years ago) but her friends thought otherwise and gave me shit for it. I guess I wasn't attractive enough?
how do i tell if i'm a gross chaser :s:
how do i tell if i'm a gross chaser :s:
Are you attracted to them because it's your fetish or because you like them and don't think there's anything wrong with being trans?
Are you attracted to them because it's your fetish or because you like them and don't think there's anything wrong with being trans?
the latter
I think of trans women as women, and I'm terrible at talking to women so idk
Are you attracted to them because it's your fetish or because you like them and don't think there's anything wrong with being trans?
Actually, the latter. However I also am here cause I got into a nasty entanglement with someone who was trans. Instead of assuming you are all like that, I am here to see if I can find some good in the world.
thankfully its really easy to tell/feel out bi/gay girls. :pride:
I need to start vocal training but I have no idea where to start
I need to start vocal training but I have no idea where to start
Here's the secret: you just need to do it.
Try talking in a feminine voice, and keep at it every single day.
If you are full time, use that voice all the time. If you are not, skype or talk on the phone with the people you are out.
Practice in daily conversations is the best way to get a good voice.
Just try talking with the upper part of your throat, not the bottom.
