so apparently my oestrogen levels are incredibly high; dangerously high. I got my blood tested when i was self-medding on a low dosage, which was 25mg of anti-androgens (Cyproteron) and 1mg of oestrogen (Estradiol) and my blood contained about 800 units of oestrogen, while that of a female is about 40-80 units. And after I got my blood tested, they prescribed me with 4mg of estradiol and 50mg of cyproteron so now its probably mental any idea why my hormone levels are so high to begin with? other people need 4mg of estradiol
I don't think so. I was on a forum with a transman who was intersex and he was on hormones/had top surgery. I would think that having a higher natural testosterone level would mean that your overall needed T dose would be lower.
Ahh that's reassuring. I've tried google searching it and I've got some people saying intersex transmen with high T need less T, and some people saying they need more T than average, so I'm a little confused, but I suppose it's probably more on a person-by-person base.
any idea why my hormone levels are so high to begin with? other people need 4mg of estradiol
Everyone needs different dose, cause every body is different. I know people who need 2mg of Estradiol. I need 6. The endocrinologist will usually try to make it so that your hormone levels in your blood match the ones of a cis girl. But each body reacts differently to the meds, so some people need more Estradiol, and some need less, to reach the same level in the blood.
Anna, Jennifer, Evelynn, Savannah or Ali like no offense but some of those names are prettttty odd unless your going to go like strictly by a nickname, i dont know if you want to do that to yourself. when I meet a girl with a odd name i just think weird parents
Fite me, my name is Savannah. It's what my parents would have called me if I was born a girl, also a quick google says it was more popular than Lisa in 1993, and within the top 100 girl names. Plus I don't see anything weird with Anna or Jennifer either.
Stripes are an underrated aesthetic.
From what I've heard, stripes are actually super fucking common on crossdressers and MtF people Doesn't make them any less awesome though, stripes are cool
i do know that knee socks are super common especially with crossdressers
From what I've heard, stripes are actually super fucking common on crossdressers and MtF people Doesn't make them any less awesome though, stripes are cool
Kinda makes sense, especially on socks. Horizontal stripes make stuff look wider. I tend to like form-fitting shirts that are a little long because they punch my waist and hips a bit.
GIC cancelled my April appointment. Doctor wanted to take a holiday. :v: Also cancelled a bunch of other peoples appointments too. Time to go private, I guess. Only conceivable way of me getting hormones in the next fucking year despite the fact my blood is good, health is good, and my mental health is good. And now to attempt to raise like £600 to afford private GIC appointments, whilst also trying to raise £1000 for my Uni degree show. Haha.
I wish I could find some knee socks that actually go up to my knees.
www.sockdreams.com everyone will love it
Don't go to this place if you want to have money in your wallet at the end of the month :v:. Also one of the reasons I think high socks are common amongst transfolk is that you can hide them under what you're wearing you're not completely out yet. Or it could just be that they're fucking incredible
Add easy to hide to that list.
NAME SELECTION PROCESS: Draw up 10 names. 5 you like, 5 from birth year. go to tgforums or something. cross any names you see off the list.
I'm biased towards Anna my self....obviously.:v: However, I have always liked the name.
I feel incredibly lucky that my mum had a name planned for me had I been born a girl. It took me about 10 minutes to settle on Chloe. (Okay, maybe it was slightly longer than that, but I still feel fortunate.)
GIC cancelled my April appointment.
www.sockdreams.com everyone will love it
Facepunch is my main site to go to, every day I wake up check it, and check it some more...a ton...all the time during the day. But now that I found this site, looks like FP is taking the backseat. Sockdreams 24/7 I'll see you guys never.
www.sockdreams.com everyone will love it
So many choices. I can't pick just one.
So my Mom saw my Pyschiatrist the other day to clear some stuff up and it's not RLE. He just used Social transitioning when he meant Mental. So I have to start calling myself Chloe and using proper pronouns, and getting family members to do the same. So transitioning to a female mind if that makes sense. Also we have a timeline now. Jan 5th to April 5th is Mental Transitioning. April 5th to Unknown date will be waiting to see the Endro. If the Endro says I can do puberty blockers then I will see him once every so often, if not then I'll see him whenever. So that till August 2017 (hopefully, maybe a couple months after), once I turn 18, I will be on HRT. Skip the court entirely. What'cha think?
Sounds great! I wish you luck, its going to be hard waiting for hormones.
That's awesome!! Hope everything keeps out working out for you!
It is going to be a hard wait but this gives me time to exercise, do clothing, mental transitioning and stuff. If anything it would probably be faster without Puberty blockers as they require a set amount of months before starting HRT, but I may be wrong.
Had to sleep outside tonight
My parents are hoarders and the air quality in the house is so bad that its given me extremely bad asthma. I have to go to the hospital so uhh
Hoarding is a disease and they need help.
I just wanted to point out that like all the transphobic posters on the first page of the Jeremy Clarkson thread ended up banned for one reason or another, and I find that very amusing.

Pretty great.
the whole thread is even funnier if you read the last two sentences of jeremy clarksons opinion about transgenderism. it was stuck behind a paywall till last night
But then I thought of something. Let’s just say for a moment that one in 1,000 are transgender. Or one in 100,000. Or even that it’s actually just one. Let’s say that there is one person out there who is a woman living in a man’s body, or the other way around. I started to imagine what life might be like for the poor soul. It would be dreadful. Absolutely awful. And all they seem to want to make their life better is a third gender option box on official documents. That’s not really the end of the world for everyone else, is it?
