Nothing Major happened, he will be supporting me and if any doctors have trouble understanding the difference between my Autism and Gender Disorder, he can clear it up for them, and if he doesn't understand something related to Gender Disorder then a Lady he referred us to can help out and clear it up.
Besides that, he told my Mom and will be sending a letter to my Psychiatrist, not to expect me to be extremely feminine in my clothes and what not, I will just wear the same clothes I already wear (as in style.....not even really a style tbh)
Cool thing is, is that with people with Autism (like me), we don't really talk about our emotions, if you wanna know if we are depressed, happy, excited or whatever, you actually have to find what stuff we are watching, games we are playing, music we are listening to and what we are reading.
So I guess the influx of games where the protag is Female in the past year was actually myself showing my feelings.
I was too oblivious at the time :v
Some notable ones.
Senran Kagura, Dungeon Travelers 2, Dragons Crown, and some others I probably forgot about.
So the next appointment relating to my Transgender is April 5th with my Psychiatrist, probably will refer to me an Endro.
Hoping to start Hormone Blockers.

I can't find any zelda leggings or metal gear ones online in Australia :c
Only instore :/
Anyone know where I can buy video game clothes cheap?
Preferably in Australia, or supports the AUD so I can see what price it is.
Amazon and Ebay are too expensive.
Also is it true that Thigh High Socks need to be cleaned often? And get smelly quickly?

I made this top. Cropped it Bleached it then dyed it red. Decided to take a photo cus my brow game strong.
Heyyyy so I thought I was cis for a long time but I think I might be a trans girl. I'll have to talk about it more with my doctor and stuff but I thought it was appropriate to come here and tell people, y'know?
23, long time facepunch-er but mostly a lurker. Seeing a gender therapist, wondering what life will be like as a trans-girl software dev. Anyway, not that it's really a huge deal to any of you but I figured I'd just put it out there. Nice to say it to a community you've been around forever.

Like normal socks, they go on your feet and if you wear them a full day, especially with shoes on or something, yeah they tend to get dirty and smelly quite quickly.
Although it's not something you notice all the time unless you've just taken off your shoes and released all those trapped dirty foot fumes or someone is smelling your feet directly. Keep a backup in that case I guess?

Don't worry, half of transwomen are software devs, you will fit right in.

Thanks for the encouragement, it helps. I figured the tech industry would probably be one of the best for trans-folk.
I'm feeling like buying some cute clothes, does anyone have any suggestions? In before socks, I've bought tons of those already because it's way too convenient. I need some real clothes.
skirts skirts ksirts sktirks risktstsk

It's literally a joke I see pop up on twitter/tumblr/etc
*walks up to transgirl couple*
"So, which of you is the programmer and which is the camgirl"
This whole Tay Tweets debacle reminds me of how willingly (cis) people will use the right pronouns for a non-sapient object or animal but outright refuse to use a trans person's correct pronouns because they don't have the right genitals
I swear if I posted this is that thread several people would have a fit
Sometimes I don't really know why I bother trying to be happy. Every single time I try to get started on doing something that I'll enjoy in life, some shit comes pouring down on me and tells me "NO, you don't get to do this, you will never be able to have the resources to."
Like, fuck. I can't get started on fucking ANYTHING I want to. Every time I try some new shit blows in my face and makes all of the previous effort I've put into my project a complete and utter waste of time.
Why the fuck do I even bother anymore
Because you deserve to be happy.
Don't give up.
Because you deserve to be happy.

Obviously I don't if literally every single time I try to do something that makes me happy, something takes it away almost immediately.
If there's a higher power then I am doing something to royally piss him off. I don't fucking know what to do anymore, I keep getting trashed by things that are completely out of my control. I can do absolutely nothing to ensure my own happiness.
It sounds like she's worried someone will hurt you from what it sounds like.
I came out to my sister today. Things went super well! Her exact words "I fully support you. What are sisters for!"
She then asked me some questions about it like if I had picked out a name and how long I felt this way.
I feel great knowing a family member fully supports me!
aaaaa finally some good news on my end.
So the shitbirds I used to work for at the hospital ended up getting investigated for shitty business practices including stiffing employee's pay while I was working there. I won $360 in a class-action settlement!
Any Canadians around here know a good store to buy shoes? I made the mistake of thinking that i was crazy enough to resort to AliExpress and i'm already regretting it.
More good news. ;u;
I should be getting my tax refund sometime within the next couple months. I expected it to be fairly small but apparently it's almost as big as that settlement I won. So I'll have another $300 coming in. Such a load of worry off of me. ;;
I think a link to the Discord server being added to the OP will be nice
Posting this for D2K5S1 since she got herself perma'd.

my panties contain schrodinger's dong.
before unleashing, one cannot know what flavor of nasty bits will be found.
So my facial hair is like probably #2 on my list of things on me that causes the most dysphoria and I need that shit gone, sucks that HRT doesn't really reduce hair growth that's already occurred.
Has anyone here gotten electrolysis or laser hair removal done? I work next to an electrolysis clinic and have had an appointment lined up before but cancelled because cost reasons. It's semi-affordable but I would like to know about the experience of someone who has gotten it done before I go with either or. If you've done laser or electrolysis, how long were the treatments? How permanent was the hair removal? And uhhh HOW PAINFUL WAS IT?

My electrologist charges by the hour so I guess it just depends on how long you're willing to be there. Electrolysis is permanent hair removal and its not really that painful (Okay maybe a little bit) and you can get numbing cream to stop you from feeling it anyways.
I got lucky and my electrologist is only charging me 45$ an hour because I'm trans :v:

The electrologist I know is very nice and seems to be accommodating of what I'm willing to spend, also it's convenient since it's in town.
How many treatments does it take approximately? I've heard that it can take a few treatments in the same area, but I could be mistaken.
Also why is it that most trans people I know recommend I get laser hair removal done instead of electrolysis?
I'd totally have my brain put into a robot if that meant no more body hair forever
screw you evolution I wON'T DO WHAT YOU TELL ME

My electrologist said that it depends on how much facial hair you have and that you can't really give an estimate as to how many treatments it will take.
Also my experience with trans people and electrolysis is the opposite. I've always been told to go for electrolysis.
don't laser your face, you'll regret it in 6 months.
laser literally anywhere else other than your face.
