are they estrogen patches that they said to put around the gut? if so try upper arms or upper thighs
I was warned by my endo not to do that, but I cant figure out why.
Wow 3 years for them to actually send me something and its a mix between "lets do something" and "lol we're sorry :DDDDD", can't wait for the next 3 after this shit. Fucking hell.
if you're mostly just looking for hormones, and you have access to a GP and about £200 and then money for the actual hormones, do informed consent with Dr. Webberley (oh god, the website). I also have a referral with Nottingham but the waiting time is in excess of a year lol
I've added the URL for the discord chat to the OP incase anyone needs it and doesn't want to search this thread for it, if you haven't joined it already you can click here

So it's been (roughly) two weeks since I was cleared for HRT and I still haven't been prescribed the estradiol they said I was going on because the gender service is taking fucking ages to let my GP know to prescribe me estradiol. :)
<3 In a similar boat, was supposed to get cleared for HRT this wednesday but now waiting a lil longer. Apparently my endo has a habit of losing referrals lmao. she's great none-the-less from what i hear. Eagerly awaiting that appointment call. Should be on hormones within the next two weeks! :D [editline]ss[/editline] The discord chat is hella great also. Peeps should join upppp
http://mytranshealth.com/ this might be something interesting. Still seems a little early as it has nothing around my area.

Sexually is bullshit.
Sexually is bullshit.
wait what. sexuality? i mean i dunno, i guess, maybe
wait what. sexuality? i mean i dunno, i guess, maybe
Yes that what I mean
Yes that what I mean
What's so bad about it?
Is it actually worth transitioning? Because the more I think about it, the less it's really worht even trying. I'd be kicked out of the house and cut off of any income from my parents, and it's also way too late (18 and I look too manly.) Should I still try?

Should I still try?
From what I know and understand is that dysphoria gets worse the older you get. Right now it may seem easier to forget about it but the feelings will come back later. Transition doesn't need to be an all or nothing process and you can take it one step at a time as slowly as you'd like. I would recommend getting yourself into a safe living situation where you can support yourself just in-case your parents have an extreme reaction to your condition. If that's not an issue and you feel that they would support you then please talk to them and at least work towards therapy if you're not already doing that. Having a good support network is the first step to your goals. Even at 18 you can have great results from HRT alone. A lot of manly features can be downplayed through mannerisms, confidence and surgery if it's something that you're worried about long term. Bone structure is a hard one because that doesn't change too much after puberty but male puberty can last into your 20s. Even so there are a lot of AFAB women who have bulky proportions and rugged frames.
No age is too late.

Whether you're 18 or 88 the dysphoria is still going to be there, so you shouldn't let your age dictate whether or not you try to take that chance to at happiness. Afaik most trans people I've seen started transitioning around your age if not far later.
What's so bad about it?
I would be a lot better off without it.

The big thing that put me off are the fact that I'd be booted out of the house/cut off from anything from my parents for the rest of my life were I to transition, and theyd probably refuse to accept me as their child.
It really depends on what you value more, your family's acceptance or your desire to transition.
I don't know. I think that being true to yourself is more important than what your parents think of you. It's your life, they're not going to be around forever anyway. I had the same thoughts become I came out to my parents. They've always talked down on the lgbt crowd. They're trying to understand it though and it's working out. I've always thought that if someone won't accept my choice then they're not someone that I need in my life.
