It could also just be you not being used to it, just drink some water and it should pass.

Perhaps it'd be much easier that way for me since I don't have to stress/get nervous
What medication is it?
I wasn't sure if I was allowed to mention it, but it's elleste duet 1mg. I have tried to take it with a bit of food like bread, and that seemed to have worked.

But if you look at the prescription it should tell you.

my mother knows what transitioning means for me, and she's still entirely fine with it, as far as I can see. I'm kinda screwed over right now, when it comes to medically transitioning, though. a requirement for even being considered to be picked up by the (only) people who provide proper medical care is that I'm not depressed and can function well - I'm both depressed, and I can't function well. what bothers me here is that I may get rid of my depression if I just get medical care for my dysphoria..
After weeks of false expectations and what I perceived as delays I am ABSOLUTELY DABSOLUTELY SURE that I am getting my estradiol prescription on Tuesday.
Argh... my efforts to go out and do stuff in public today were thwarted by plumbing problems in my apartment. But here's a pic from last week :) [t]http://i.imgur.com/W4KLGtE.jpg[/t]
So my left nipple has been wet since last night. I have even seen a drop of liquid (water?) dropping from my nipple. Should I be worried?
should i be worried if that never happened
Idk I'm not an endo, it might be different for everyone. If you're concerned talk to your endo about it.
I never had lactation on HRT. It's fine.
I wouldn't worry unless I was bleeding
I just took my first tablet of oestradiol, I am so excited for the future.
tomorrow i get to explain to my endo why i havent been able to take meds/make the drive over for an appointment because of crippling depressoin and how im feebly attempting to get better

I need to get a pill planner. All I'm on is finasteride but I can't even maintain a daily dosage without some kind of reminder.
I'm curious, are there any conclusive studies that show that becoming transgendered and transitioning helps gender dysphoria?

There's the infamous "Swedish Study" that talks about post-op suicide rates but it's unfair treatment towards Transgender people as it doesn't compare suicide rates between pre- and post- op trans people, it compares post-op transgender people to cis people. But overall the general conscious is that transitioning improves quality of life and very few ever regret doing it.
I need to get a pill planner. All I'm on is finasteride but I can't even maintain a daily dosage without some kind of reminder.
Pill planner really helps. I got one and I haven't missed a dose since. (Not for HRT! Just depression/anxiety meds.) They're like 5 bucks at a Walgreens, well worth not having to deal with the stress of wondering if you took your medicine or not.

It doesn't help that I have to take 6 pills a day for my HRT
I forgot to say earlier that I got some blood tests taken today and I'm probably going to be on testosterone blockers in a month or two if everything's alright (I can get proper HRT only when I'm 16 or older, which I'm not)
[x post from the confession threads] I'm not transgender nor do I have gender dysphoria and I feel completely gross for this, but I just feel uncomfortable with how my body looks that I'd want to turn to hormone therapy to be happy with it. It makes me feel like the "sexual deviant" stereotype people say transgender people are. Just feels like wanting that makes trans issues look like a joke. I'm not really unhappy with my gender or anything, just jealous of how trans people look and unhappy with how I look. I don't think I'm ugly or anything, just not very ideal for what I want. I'm probably just an idiot teenager and its a phase or something, dunno.
Wait, are you jealous of trans people, or people from your opposite gender (including trans people)?
