im more jealous of that hat and that you work at google :c
they give that hat to new employees iirc?
cause otherwise i'd fucking want one
Yeah, sometimes the hats turn up on eBay every once in a while.. usually overpriced but you offer enough and people get rid of them lol.
Kinda great place to work, only there on a 2 year contract but hey it's work and I like it.. Had to move to a new city to take the job.. hopefully gets me to the US eventually.

well of all places to get work, this'll probably help immensely getting into the us
wooooooo I replaced the front rotors and pads on my car :D
I'm not a mechanic in the slightest, so I'm proud of this fact. Plus I saved a shit load of money (and time).

Nice job! Was it difficult or just time consuming? I've been wanting to look into taking care of my car but I'm afraid of touching the guts :c

It was mostly time consuming. It took ~2.5 hours, but a good chunk of that was running around town getting the right parts and the right tools. My dad helped and guided me and I did most of the actual work. If I didn't have him, I probably would've just taken it to a mechanic.
The hardest part was actually getting the rotors themselves off. Had to go rent a Timing Gear Puller so we could pull them off. They were stuck on good. Also ended up getting a 12-point socket for my dad's impact wrench that it turned out we didn't even actually need. :v:
All in all I spent about $120 and my time, when taking it to the mechanic would've been $600+, and it wouldn't be done until tomorrow.
haha I feel you
I drive a 40 year old car and doing work on it would be SO expensive so I had a lot of trials by fire working on it :v:
passing is a weird concept anyway
I wanna look pretty im not that obsessed with looking like a cis girl
Some people want to look "proper." Some people see the lives that cis girls enjoy, and go "I want that," and can't get that without passing, else be put into this "other" category that isn't a guy's life nor a girl's.
Oh wow, you dyed your hair.
Now you have the full look punk/goth look.
Looking cute

I need to find leggings, they're dah bomb
After leaving home to go to uni, my parents are now calling me by my real name. Hell, even my grandparents are. This actually feels amazing. I always knew that leaving home would make it better but I didn't realise it would be so much, so quickly.
Ugh, I just wish I'd get my letter from the GIC. It's been 5 months and it still feels like it's going nowhere. They said it'd be about 16-26 weeks or something like that, so I guess I've got a month or two before I should start feeling like it's going to take forever. Not feeling very up to travelling across the entire South of the UK to get to the GIC, though.
I only got one pair of leggings, I need more. They got stars on 'em. :3c
Been a while since I've posted here.
As of a few weeks ago I'm now dating a transmale named Nick.
He's pretty amazing.
Woo, I took a semester off school to think about myself and set aside myself some time, it has worked well. I am not constantly depressed, I am not starving myself, I've been doing pretty well and my number of pass outs when standing up too quickly have greatly reduced, gonna keep working on my health and then go back to school with a clear mind, gonna get that done and be a happy girl once again, for the first time I can think of in a long time I will be as happy as ever...it's cold as heck here, it's like 60 degrees (Fahrenheit) and I'm chilly, someone please give me cuddles so I can be warm.
I think the worst thing I really have to complain about right now is that the heater in my room is broken, and I live in the coldest room in the house with like no insulation and my parents like keeping the house at 68 Fahrenheit so it's pretty chilly here, it's pretty much whatever the temperature is outside. I am bundled up in sweatshirts and blankets, which is okay too.
How are you all?
saw G.L.O.S.S. a few days ago. good shit, but the whole room had a very anti-male vibe. venue was packed, it was cool to see so many people coming out to support the LGBT community
My sport bra is getting tighter around my breasts each day that passes, so I think it's time for a real bra.
But how am I supposed to get my measurements? Do I ask a friend, do I go to a specialty store, do I look online..

Glad to see you're doing much better now! Also, wear lots of sweaters, the best clothing of all time.
I can't speak for everyone, but I'm doing okay. Had a mini anxiety breakdown yesterday but I'm doing a lot better. Now I'm sleepy but its too early for bed.

you can do it yourself ezpz.
band size (the number): wrap measuring tape just under your breasts keeping the tape parallel with the floor, this is the measurement you want to focus on most because going too tight or too loose or otherwise wrong can make the bra fit pretty bad. if this measurement is an odd number, round down to the previous even number.
bust size (not cup size, but determines that): lie down on your back and repeat the process, but this time across your breasts at their fullest point, usually right at or above nipple level. don't try and squeeze your boobs together or move them or w/e, let them do their thing. you'll also want to bridge the tape across your breasts instead of letting it drape between. this number should obviously be higher, even if it's less than an inch of a difference.
the difference between your bust size and your band size is actually what determines the cup size.
0" = AA
1" = A
2" = B
3" = C
4" = D
It gets complicated past that but I don't imagine many transwomen developing or wanting >D boobs anyway.
example: I'm a 36"-38" band size, my breasts are 0" bigger than my bandsize. I'm 36AA-38AA
your resulting bra should fit comfortable enough to use the middle set of hooks (on "standard" styled bras) and be you should able to breathe, bend over, and wear it a whole day with no issues.

I talked with my mom because I thought this was off and it turns out I was wrong, for the most part. AAA is 0" and AA is 1/2". Past D and you get into weirdness depending on where you're from/shopping/whatever.

Keep in mind that D is a lot smaller than you think. A 4" difference isn't nearly as big as everyone says. Most women are sized incorrectly and there's a stigma that anything D or over is "pornstar huge". When correctly sized (and do not shop at a non-specialty shop or Victoria's Secret for correct sizing, they'll fit you in their A-C line), a lot more women are going to be D's and above.

Don't think I've heard D's referred to as "pornstar size" in a long time :v:
e: more like F's. Now that's big.

Stigma? For me, D and above is "you won the genetic lottery".
upon further research into bust - band = cup, i discovered that anywhere between 0 and 1 inch difference is gray area. some people with 1 inch difference say they fit AAA just as well as A, and some people with 0 inch difference say they can't go below A. this might be the result of improper sizing but it's too prevalent to not take into account as a legitimate point of info.
so if you got ≤1" difference, open yourself to all A sizes while still trying to stick to what's most likely your fit mathematically speaking.
