I didn't have much hope for a good MGS game being made now that Kojima is gone from Fuckami but jeezus.....they just don't give a single shit anymore huh?

The Boss looks a bit off.
Fucking travesty.
Soulless Snake
did they really fucking use fox engine to remake scenes from metal gear solid 3 all for a fucking pachinko machine?
Nah, it just looks like prerendered CGI
What??? Nobody here said 'I want a MGS pachinko game' so how does this even fit?

You... You do realize this is a pachislot machine, right?
They mean people are asking for an MGS3 remake now
i've been to las vegas i know what you are talking about hell i am bit of sucker for it when i saw them (hobbit/lotr) granted i would spend under 25 at most a day
Yeah, and that specialized appeal through the characters you love is what makes it even harder for people to leave. It's no longer an experience of gambling money, it's a further manipulation by creating some sort of bond with the IP's universe. I know it might sound incredibly stupid, and it might not affect people the same way as you or I, but Gandalf telling you to put some more money down with some LOTR-esque wisdom adds extra difficulty in breaking away from the table. On a funny and sad note: One of my favorite comedians, Asterios Kokkinos, remarked about visiting Vegas on The Biggest Problem in the Universe and how he saw someone yelling and grabbing an Ellen slot machine. He screamed, "WHY ARE YOU FUCKING ME, ELLEN?!" I can't comprehend how hilariously bad that would look with a MGS slot machine.
What's it going to be Jack? Loyalty to your wallet, or loyalty to me? Boss... Why? PULL THE LEVER JACK, FINISH YOUR MISSION

This is the level of betrayal and disrespect for beloved franchises that cause such a lust for people to rush game dev HQs and CQC CEO's out of top floor office windows.
Such wasted potential with the Fox engine.

You know, the real sad thing is that despite the amount of money that went into creating the assets for this video and the videos on the machine itself, unless the pachinko regulations bite them in the ass (which SNK specifically came back to gaming to avoid) then a pachinko machine would make more money hands-down than an MGS3 remake. And it's obvious Konami would rather just burn their entire gaming division down if they had the full option to.
I just rememberd there was supposed to be a recreation of the Boss' fight in MGSV at some point. Please tell me they're not just reusing cut assets from MGSV.
that's just awfully insulting to the fans they also did this to silent hills: pe, didnt they? fucking bastards
I hope Metal Gear fans in Japan give this monster a wide birth
I just rememberd there was supposed to be a recreation of the Boss' fight in MGSV at some point. Please tell me they're not just reusing cut assets from MGSV.
That'll be the fucking worst. If somewhere in the game, a video of mission 51 plays and it's fucking amazing watching the entire DD military force fight a psychic buffed Sahelanthropus
I just rememberd there was supposed to be a recreation of the Boss' fight in MGSV at some point. Please tell me they're not just reusing cut assets from MGSV.
To be honest, there was a lot of 'leaks' about supposed things like flashbacks to MGS3. I think that was a planned thing but there was this whole rumor about a CQC tutorial going back to training with The Boss or instead the final fight with her. And the location scouting Kojima did at Normandy ultimately resulted in nothing in the game itself, but maybe there was something planned that never got far into development at all. But then some of these leaks were the same ones that proclaimed that Kaz called the child soldiers niggers and treated them like complete shit when it was opposite in the game itself. Didn't stop the memes at launch, though.
is it me or did we never run into [sP]Solid Snake[/sP] in this game?
I looked at the video's dislikes on YT and I just heartily laughed.
A dislike bar to surpass Infinite Warfare
Really though, all slot machines are sad. I live in Vegas. We have Willy Wonka slot machines. We have Lord of the Rings slot machines. We have Ellen slot machines. I see them all the time. And people play them. No IP is safe. Also, it's funny thinking about it too because all of my life I've driven past the Konami building in Vegas wondering why it was here and it just now occured to me.
But do you have King Dedede Drooling while Eating slot machines?
is it me or did we never run into [sP]Solid Snake[/sP] in this game?
[sp]The very beginning and the true ending implies that Outer Heaven is under attack by Solid Snake during the respective scenes, but beyond that, yeah, Solid is essentially a non-entity except in loose references to Les Enfants Terribles and Big Boss disowning but not hating his clones.[/sp] It's among various reasons to me for MGSV being a big problem as a 'missing chapter' when all it does is resolve or answer a few loose plot threads from Peace Walker while creating a few new ones that.. don't go anywhere. Kojima didn't want too much MGS fanservice wankery, but the result was a game that does whatever the hell it wants and ends up being a mostly unnecessary existence beyond fan demand. [sp]I'm not saying we need Snake or Grey Fox or so forth, but when your entire plot twist relies on not catching the obvious clues that you're not actually Big Boss, not to mention the real Big Boss is just a few hundred miles south of your activity in Africa and not even a single word about such things exists until the true ending which only exists to unravel the plot twist and give you the Truth tapes, it's kind of fucking ridiculous.[/sp]
is it me or did we never run into [sP]Solid Snake[/sP] in this game?
IIRC this is his only mention (mild endgame spoilers)
Not counting (100% ending spoilers) [sp]the fact that the gunshots during the big boss/v snake reveal are him coming to complete his first mission[/sp] [editline]4th June 2016[/editline] If the game got its full script I bet that'd have been a full arc that would've brought the series into a full circle
Words cannot describe the loss that I'm feeling. It's almost as if it's a.... phantom pain.
