Didn't they hear about somewhere at the west coast being safe? I would REALLY prefer them to stray from that dumb comic and just go find some military encampment somewhere far from the infection. Atleast we'd not have a disaster with the prison much as the one we had with season 2.
Can't wait to watch this season and get to enjoy it.
Merl's got a little hand thing :3 [editline]14th July 2012[/editline] I'd hug him.
God, season two was atrocious, and that's coming from someone who absolutely loved the first season. Sure, I get that they slowed down, and focused on more drama, but they made drama out of characters we didn't give two shits about over things that were just non-issues, and had half of the season was spent looking for a character who had a single line in the entire first season, one who had a total of maybe 1 minute of screen time and we didn't care about.
I forgot the black woman's name but I wonder if (spoilers) [sp]they'll have the whole torture scene with the governor where she plucks out his eyes and stuff.[/sp]
so i was wondering if i should watch this show if i wait till the end of season 3 provided it is good, should i just watch 1, skip 2 and read a summary, and watch 3?
If you read the first two volumes you should be good to go. Not a whole lot has happened.
I enjoyed season 1 and I liked season 2 I just think it took too long for something to happen. Too much chit-chat not enough plot moving.
Holy fuck the brothers arm at the end Dayum
Looks like Merle is... armed and dangerous
Am I the only one who actually loved the season two?
This just isn't a good show.
I used to watch it and I thought it was pretty good but all the characters are completely retarded and are just generally annoying.
Am I the only one who actually loved the season two?
I liked it, but season 1 was much better
Am I the only one who actually loved the season two?
I would've liked it much better if they hadn't dragged out what should've been a couple of episodes top into half a series.
Am I the only one who actually loved the season two?
Be careful with that opinion, people here will call you a fucking idiot for liking something they didn't. I liked it. Even thought it was really slow and I wish the women would all just die off because they are annoying, I still liked it. I fist pumped at the end with [sp] Rick killing Shane[/sp] Been wanting that to happen since the 1st episode of season 1.
I thought season 2 was alright, but looking back on each episode it becomes apparent that literally fuckall happened in each one. Also decided now that if there's ever a zombie apocalypse that I'd just instantly kill all of the women and children.
I didn't watch any of Season 2, they really [sp]killed Dale? He was a massive badass in the comcis, and an important character for the Prison story![/sp] And I hope they keep the "surprise" in the prison that was in the comics.
Season 2 was annoying to begin with, it was just annoying talking but the second half of season 2 was definitely better, I don't see why you're all bashing it like it was the worst thing imaginable.
I am excite. This looks like it's going to be a much better season then the last one.
some fairly serious spoilers (for someone who hasn't read the comics) in that trailer
Why did Rick put a flashlight on his gun? What would that do?
Looks like Merle is... armed and dangerous
I think he will be mostly harmless
what's the song that plays at 2:40? [editline]13123[/editline] Never mind found it
Fuck yes michonne.
October seems really far away THAT'S TOO MUCH WAITING Really excited, though I did watch Season 1 and 2 in a single weekend, it was badass but now I have to wait every week, deal with cliffhangers and be forced to watch a shitty ad that ruins the entire mood the show set up. I loathe television so so much
I don't think it happened like that, Darabont wanted to use some footage that was deemed unfit by AMC and was fired before he could get his hands on season 2 (Dont know what this footage was or why it was so bad, he also acted against AMC with the budget cut on season 2, lowering relations between Darabont and AMC). Originally, Darabont wanted the first episode to be an Atlanta flashback about a group of soldiers fighting to survive in the city whilst showing glimpses of the original survivors. In the end of the episode, one soldier crawls into a tank and dies, the one rick climbs in, in the first episode. http://www.movieweb.com/news/the-walking-dead-tank-zombie-webseries-canceled-says-sam-witwer
Doesn't the current director hate flashbacks as well? I kind of liked them a lot, especially when it showed Shane telling Lori Rick got shot. Imo, Season 2 should've been merged with Season 1 into one big season rather then just 6 episodes so they didn't have to drag out season 2.
