Men in dark armor fighting each other at night, turn down the contrast for extra Night's Watch points.
[sp]did any of the crows die because I honestly couldn't tell, Larry or whatever his name was doesn't count obv.[/sp]
Also I really liked Karl, he was very memorable.
[sp]4 died, if you include Lock then 5[/sp]
I hope coldhands still makes an appearance in the TV show although it really just looks like they decided to cut him entirely.
"please leave me"
*everyone starts leaving*
"not you jorah"

More like, "they're dragons, Khaleesi!"
Maybe that'll become an issue in the next episode [sp]"What, we lost five men to kill the mutineers and you let one escape?"[/sp]
Wasn't the [sp]Signal to attack castle black a fire as well?[/sp]
I thought [sp]the guy that they thought got away was the one that got killed by Ghost[/sp]?
I thought [sp]the guy that they thought got away was the one that got killed by Ghost[/sp]?
[sp]Yeah because Ghost can just tell them "don't worry guys I got the last one![/sp]
I thought [sp]the guy that they thought got away was the one that got killed by Ghost[/sp]?
He was, and they'll probably work that out with all the blood around his mouth.
Also nobody seems to be mentioned the fact that [sp]LYSA FUCKING ARRYN KILLED JON ARRYN! She literally started the entire war. And it was all because Littlefinger told her to. He's the fucking master manipulator of the kingdom[/sp]

[sp]Every episode it becomes more and more clear that Littlefinger's behind a lot more stuff than we first anticipated.[/sp]
And the [sp]Littlefinger reveal[/sp] is effecting all the people as much as bookreaders thought it would. Excellent.
[sp]Did not that become obvious already in season 1?[/sp]
[sp]Not really. Sure, you could easily see he was a manipulative guy in a position of power-- but not to the extent of knowing he would be behind causes of war and deaths of lords and kings alike, nor in possession of more resources than just a few brothels.[/sp]

How do you mean?
And the [sp]Littlefinger reveal[/sp] is effecting all the people as much as bookreaders thought it would. Excellent.
Yeah, I would never have guessed that [sp]Littlefinger's 'little finger' isn't so little.[/sp]
[sp]Burn Gorman is so good it's a shame Karl died. Then again he deserved it. He would have totally destroyed Jon had it not been for that girl though. A cliche end to a great fight.
Locke's death also felt very anti-climatic. And why didn't any of Craster's wives tell Jon that the mutineers had two boys, a girl and a daft giant hidden in the back tent?
And Lysa talking about her and Littlefinger killing Jon Arryn came off as the writers trying to spell it out to the show only watchers, "Remember when I killed Jon, my husband, you know, they guy at the start of season 1? [/sp]
A filler episode. It was ok.
[sp] Was Locke just trying to take the little lord hostage ? [/sp]
[sp] Was Locke just trying to take the little lord hostage ? [/sp]
[sp]Yeah. Even if he had gotten away, what would he do? Climb back over the wall? Walk through Castle Black with a young boy over his back?[/sp]
[sp] rip in peace Karl
he was a FOCKIN LEGEND[/sp]
I really enjoyed the last episode, it was a well balanced mix of action and character developpement. I really like how each character was presented in this episode.
The only thing that I find really weird is Jon Snows fighting stance, it just looks way to awkward and amateur like. Especially when he fights the guy with the two blades.
honestly fighting in a cramped indoor enviroment, with fire and shit also against two short blades against a guy who's good as fuck, with a single long blade
was really dumb
except karl would've won if he hadn't turned his back on jon like a fucking moron
I don't get why he turned his back on the trained, armed, highly skilled swordsman to face the unarmed, untrained woman behind him
what would you do if you were mad, drunk, possibly cold and just got stabbed in the back?
except karl would've won if he hadn't turned his back on jon like a fucking moron

what? this is what I meant, that Jon was dumb to try to fight in that environment against him. And he had just gotten stabbed and stuff

My issue with the fight was Jon swinging his sword one handed instead of two like he should have when not using a shield, plus I'm sure he was using a bastard sword anyway which would be pretty damn heavy.

Yeah everyone know's ghost is a mute it's right in the books jeeze

Well bastard sword's can be used one-handed if you're strong enough and obviously Jon is the beef.

this is literally the worst cliche ever
whenever an important character is about to lose like that, the same thing happens every single time
That fight was pretty disappointing. I would have much preferred Jon just wasting him.
when Karl was taunting him, saying he learned how to fight in a castle, and after hearing Jojen say he saw Karl's body burning in the future, i was wholly expecting Jon to use dirty tactics and push him in the bigass fire in the middle of the room

I do agree with this, he held that sword in such an awkward way and it really looked like he couldn't really fight at all with only one hand. Nevertheless he never used his other hand for anything that might have given him an advantage. With two hands he could have swung the blade with more precision and power instead of just swinging his blade in an awkward manner.
I'm really just waiting for the big trial, going to be sweet. I was a bit thrown off by how sincere Cersei seemed to be for all of last episode.
Yeah, why is it that Cercei [s4e5] [sp]is basically saying "Yeah Geoffry was a total A-hole, you should totes marry Tommen tho" to Margaery? She did admit to Geoffs shortcomings in the book too, but she definitely wasn't as enthusiastic about Margaery stealing away Tommen literally days after Geoffs death.
Then again she did turn to the camera with an ominous look when Marg started talking family relations, so I guess she's just better at being nice on the surface in the series than in the books [/sp]

[sp]Everything she did this episode was manipulation. She wants Tyrion to lose the trial and be sentenced to death. Starting with sweet talking Tywin. Discussing family pride and letting him know that the families pride is on the line. Secondly making herself vulnerable to Oberyn, saying she misses her daughter and making it seem like she's such a nice person. And finally, if it means Margery can be Queen, Mace Tyrell will certainly vote him her favour. That's why she was so nice to Margery.[/sp]
