so does Baelish have any real feelings for "her"? Or he is just using "her" for security and resources?
I think he has feelings for her mother and projects them onto Sansa because it's all he has.
well I meant Lysa not Sansa, I was tring to be discreet w/o spoiler tags but yeah
I understand why treats Sansa the way he does, but what about Lysa? He seems somewhat hesitant/reserved around her like he realizes how batshit she is

[sp]He doesn't have feelings for her at all, as you will learn probably tonight. She is really just another mean to an end.[/sp]
Interview with the guy who does the languages for the show: http://www.makinggameofthrones.com/production-diary/2014/5/8/interview-with-linguist-david-peterson
HBO: Have you planted any Easter eggs in the show?
David Peterson: One of the biggest is from Episode 3 this season. There's a scene where the Meereenese rider is challenging Daenerys' champion. He's shouting and Nathalie Emmanuel [Missandei] is translating – but she's not translating what he's saying. He's actually saying a Low Valyrian translation of the French guy's insults in 'Monte Python and the Holy Grail.' That was [series creator] Dan Weiss's idea and it was so hilarious that I had to do it.
HBO: Have fans caught on?
David Peterson: They know that something's going on. Right after that episode aired, I was getting tweets like, "Is he saying a 'your momma' joke?" Close… But no, he's actually starting out with, "Your mother is a hamster."

[sp]"Lord Seaworth is a man of humble birth, but he reminded me of my duty, when all i could think of was my rights. I had the cart before the horse, Davos said. I was trying to win the throne to save the kingdom, when I should have been trying to save the kingdom to win the throne."
"Demons made of snow and ice and cold. The ancient enemy. The only enemy that matters."
-The Mannis[/sp]
If we don't get that quote in tonight's episode or soon [sp](I doubt they will give him any more screen time until he lands and proceeds to get shit done at the wall)[/sp] I will be sorely disappointed, its bad enough they have made it look like Mel convinced him than what it is: Part of his character development and own humility...
guy from last week is streaming this week also

The Dinkman fucking NAILED that ending scene.
What a fantastic fucking actor, seriously blown away again!
What an episode. Holy shit.
In honour of Shae's "testimony".

Y god that ending.
[sp]so can anyone just interrupt any proceedings ever at any time and demand a trial by combat? is this unavoidable?[/sp]

Only the accused can ask for it, I believe.
Didn't quite like this episode. Felt really off and weird, kinda all over the place with no real Game of Thrones feeling to it (except for the trial).
Really getting sick of the needless changes that they could have avoided and put more book stuff in place with the time they spent wasting.
[SP]ARYA AND THE RED WITCH!!![/SP]
[SP]WHITE WALKER RITUAL!!!!![/SP]
[SP]STANNIS IN ESSOS!!!!!![/SP]

To a non-show watcher, what is all this?

[sp]Melisandre comes to retrieve Gendry from the group Arya's with, says she sees darkness and three pairs of eyes inside Arya[/sp]
[sp]The ending to a recent episode showed the recurring White Walker taking a Craster baby boy on horseback to a massive snowy mountain, going inside to an icy cave, and placing the baby on a pedestal of ice. Another Other, with an icy crown of sorts, picks it up, touches his fingernail to its cheek, and the baby's eyes go blue while it stops making noise and stares at the Other.[/sp]
[sp]In tonight's episode, Stannis sailed with Ser Davos to Braavos and spoke with three representatives of the Iron Bank to take out a loan. Davos convinces them to trust Stannis by his bloodright and determination, then goes and finds an old pirate friend to bring along back to Westeros.[/sp]

Irksome, but tolerable.

Very annoying and takes away from the mystery in the books.

Irritating because [sp]Cercei had such terrible trouble with the Iron Bank and she was in control of most of Westeros. The only reason why they switched to Stannis wasn't because of his "determination" but because they felt he was the only one who they could really support in hopes of getting their money back that the Lannisters wouldn't pay.[/sp]
It's mostly annoying to me because they cut so much out because they can't spare the time and replace it with this stuff.
hoyl shit
Peter Dinklage is an amazing actor. That scene was so powerful. I had chills. Awesome :)
oh my god what the fuck
this is the first time someone's acting made me tingle
bless peter dinklage

[sp]Ironically, the lead representative initially declines their request, -because- the last Baratheon revolt to receive a loan from the Iron Bank still hasn't paid it back. probably for drama's sake so that Davos can prove his worth in a clearly demonstrable way to the viewers.[/sp]
Oh my god. [sp]Shae you bitch, how could you![/sp]
I never liked [sp]Shae.[/sp]

I was kind of distracted and doing other things while watching this episode, but that last scene made me drop everything and pay attention. He absolutely dominated.
goddamn that final scene convey the exact rage i felt when i was reading the book
dinkles was amazing
oh man peter dinklage is so good
Any video link to the final scene?
Yeah, here. SPOILERS
[sp]so oberyn vs the mountain[/sp] will happen soon, right? I suspect that's what the final scene is leading up to.

the stream, among various other places, can't keep their trials straight, so as soon as [sp]Tyrion demanded combat, they started yelling CLEGANEBOWL[/sp]
so is that not what's happening? It seems like the obvious choice. Probably not next episode, but perhaps episode 8.
