Quite possibly the most annoying cliffhanger I've ever experienced in my entire life.

'Sir, finishing this fight,' anyone?
yes yes and let The Others take over the North and make taking over Westeros even easier.
add to the fact that you're telling at least a hundred thousand people to give up their homes to go live with other people they deem "soft", "weak" and generally think of all southerners as "prancys" and essosi people as a queer people.
excellent thinking what could possibly go wrong.
The others would probably fuck off back north in the summer time. Plus, given that the whiteys seem to reproduce by killing things, if all the northerners weren't there to die then they'd have far fewer numbers.
As for sentence two; Move to Canada, the English part or the french. Otherwise die in a horrific, depressing and slow manner. I think you'd move.
I'm so glad somebody did this.

Holy shit, I remember how brutal that wait was.
In game of thrones that would be like book spoilers [sp]if we found out what was behind Varys' scheming and the book ended right there... oh... wait...[/sp]

S2+: I've been shouting that at the screen since Season Two. [sp]I just don't care about Dany, or her plight. She only seems to exist so that when she FINALLY reaches Westeros we have a justification for Dragons existing again. Why the fuck did she suddenly care about slavery when Season Three rolled about anyway? [/sp]

It's because [sp]her entire life was spent being told what she was to do, then her brother "selling" her to a warlord for his army. She felt that, somehow despite never being whipped, beaten, raped or forced to do manual labor, that makes her sorta like a slave and just like them[/sp] :v:
I've always liked Dany, you guys can blow me.
Dumb blondes just aren't my type.
Honestly Danny's arc is one of my favorites.
Its so nice seeing Danny's stuff compared to all the shit that happens in Westeros. Its like FUCK YEAH FINALLY SOMEONE WHO GETS IT. That said I like that she's actually starting to have unintended consequences with her choices she makes now though. I've got a feeling as time goes on she'll find that ruling isn't so black and white as going "Yes, free all the slaves, do the good thing and make your people love you"
Dunno if anyone would consider this spoilers out not, so just to be safe: [sp]Well I think Dany's fairly stupid behavior is justifiable due to her being based off a character who, in the books, is like 14 (the age most people spend jacking off to National Geo documentaries with shirtless tribal ladies) and is trying to freaking reestablish a dynasty. That's not an easy task for a Sun Tzu grade general/politician, let alone a teenager who's never known a life outside of being fed bullshit and being tossed around by her brother.[/sp]

I don't like her simply because she [sp]put a cushion on her chair.[/sp] (book)
Season 4 and upcoming episodes spoilers:
[sp]Anyone else dissatisfied with the way they are handling combat in the show? Maybe it's just because it's been too long since I've seen season one, but it feels less gritty/real now compared to then, and more stylish and wannabe badass. In particular I'm thinking about the NW raid on Craster's Keep, and Jon's subsequent duel with Karl, and the rescue scene from this last episode.
The raid scene made no sense. It's supposed to be a surprise attack, and yet the NW dudes just run screaming into the camp, and a general all-out brawl ensues. It just becomes this soulless scene that loses its sense of brutality. Imagine if it had been an actual raid, in the midst of night, while most of the mutineers were sleeping. Just guys in black rushing in and stabbing sleeping men to death before any real fighting began. It could have been over in five minutes, and have had a much larger impact because it would have felt real.
Then there's the rescue scene, that ends with shirtless, akimbo-knife wielding Ramsay Snow and a couple of guys going up against five ironborn soldiers. It felt like a bad Hollywood film. I appreciate what they tried to do with it (show Theon's development into Reek), but I also felt it was one of the least immersive moments in the last episode.
And I dread how they will do the duel between Oberyn and The Mountain, if they make it as stylish and Hollywood-esque as these previous two scenes.[/sp]

I want to know more about Varys. He's sneaky as fuck. Bet he even have balls.

[ASOS] [sp]Yeah, what was the goddamn point of making Locke/Vargo sneak up on the camp if they were just gonna charge guess they needed a reason to kill Locke, but Oberyn vs Gregor hopefully won't be that bad.[/sp]
Not to sound self righteous, but I seriously have no problems with this season aside from the [sp] unnecessary Cersei rape scene [/sp] from the first half of the season.
(mild show spoilers)That and the weird failed [sp]rescue of Reek[/sp]. Everything about that scene was just kind of weird and rushed, but unlike the [sp]rape scene[/sp] it didn't have any real impact on the overall story while the [sp]rape scene made Jaime much less likable and fucks up his whole redemption thing.[/sp] I'm just going to pretend that never happened...

[show spoilers? but not really]
HBO: [sp] "We need more sex! This season's getting pretty light on it. Cersei and Jaime like to fuck, why not them?" [/sp]

But that scene was in the books, although in a better context?
The books are full of sex, from what I've seen, only half of the sex you see in the show is from the show itself and not in the books.
Now that we're on the topic of sex, I can say I'm a fan of GoT's. Not because 'yay boobies' but because the people who are naked actually have normal bodies, not 10/10 pornstar bodies

Weren't some of the prostitutes played by porn stars, though?
