Seeing as [sp]she never took the whole "Lannisters are dangerous people" thing seriously[/sp], I highly doubt that. [sp]She's just exacting petty vengeance on Tyrion because he was forced to dump her because she wasn't taking things seriously.[/sp]
What a fucking stupid bitch. [sp]Seriously, that's fucking pathetic of her. Her lover tries to save her life, when it's evident that he doesn't actually want her to leave. She spends all the time tormenting him trying to suck his cock (oh noooooooo), then stands infront of his father and a court and lies with a straight face and destroys him.[/sp] What a bitch.
Most of the changes from the book were pretty uneccessary I don't think there are realy any spoliers here. However, Mods very much dislike me, so I'l play it safe. [sp] Cutting out Ned's memorys Cutting out most of the gregor stuff Everything arya did with archery. That includes the perfect shot in the first episode as well as the learning from the brotherhood. Cutting out Arya's "on the road" scenes with gendry and hot pie throughout book two/three which were excellent Everything arya did in harrenhall was so excelent in the books and so shit on TV Use of gendry rather than that other baratheon by the red lady. Stanis's wife collecting her unborn children in jars. Turning the brave companions (best blokes ever) into mere bolton men Completely changing the quarth arc. Some of It was boring to read, But it would have translated perfectly into the tv. Cutting out strong bewlas. Best dany follower hands down. Unveiling a great many mysteries far too soon. Elaborate faction specific costumes for everyone. Wildlings in uniform, every lanister man in identical full plate... Fairly sure martin envisioned soldiers wearing coats of arms and lacking armour White walker changes. Everything jon did north of the wall. Not enough Giantsbane and hardly any adventure. [/sp]

another thing that really annoys me in the show is the anonymous Kingsguard I don't even know who's in the show Kingsguard apart from Ser Meryn Trant and Jaime
another thing that really annoys me in the show is the anonymous Kingsguard I don't even know who's in the show Kingsguard apart from Ser Meryn Trant and Jaime
Those are the only ones that really mattered in the books.
Those are the only ones that really mattered in the books.
Arys Oakheart? [sp]Kettleblack?[/sp]
Not really that important.
The kettlebacks were important, but Oakheart was realy just an interchangeable kingsguard. Haven't watched season 4 yet though, I don't know what's going on in dorne in the show. If they hadn't cut so much stuff out, they wouldn't be scrambling for shitty filler material now.

The same Lannisters who are about to execute one of their own family on false charges, ie who will kill anyone who pisses them off? The same Lannisters who always pay their debts? She's doing that just because she's a whore and mad at Tyrion? Sorry but I don't buy that at all. She was saying exactly what the Lannisters told her to say. You know Cersei wanted her to put that knife in Tyrion's back and twist it hard[/sp]

what Im mostly worried about is a lack of Bronn where are you Bronn please dont disappear under suspicious circumstances
what Im mostly worried about is a lack of Bronn where are you Bronn please dont disappear under suspicious circumstances
I can't help but to think he may have [sp]betrayed[/sp] Tyrion :( [sp]He told Tyrion Shae was gone for good[/sp]
[sp]This is the same Bronn who said that he would kill a baby if the price was right. Don't forget that he's a sellsword first and foremost.[/sp]
[sp]but bronn good[/sp]
[sp]but bronn good[/sp]
fire bad
I'd love it if ironicaly bronn turned out to be a loyal and faithful friend to tyrion book[sp] even after tyrion comes back from the east. [/sp] Tyrion, along with arya, theon and (book only) strong bewlas mustn't die.
what Im mostly worried about is a lack of Bronn where are you Bronn please dont disappear under suspicious circumstances
[BOOK] [sp]I'm betting he'll be in the upcoming episode. Tyrion asking him to be his champion.[/sp]
i want sansa to make it through in one piece only because she hasn't done anything to deserve to die but bronn, arya, davos, jaime, brienne, jon, sam, and stannis (kind of), are the characters i'm hoping will keep their heads [editline]17th May 2014[/editline] also i guess bran, but i don't really care about his character, i just know he's vital to the plot and the exposition of the mysterious shit beyond the wall, so he's unlikely to bite it
i hope TWOW has lots more euron in it. him and ramsay are probably my favourite villains at the moment. [editline]18th May 2014[/editline] and please, james purefoy 4 euron next season.

Nah man, stannis gonna die general rule for game of thrones; If they care about honour or rights or god and aren't too intelligent, they're gonna die. Stannis holds all those bad flags. /thats just a guess, it's not spoiling anything.
What has Stannis done that warrants death?
it's more like, I wouldn't be upset if he died. also he's constantly putting himself in dangerous positions. I'm not a huge stannis fan
So it is probably been said before but (ALL BOOKS)[sp]my High School principle suggested that maybe, if Jon survives his rather open-ended "death" (We both think he will), he'll warg into one of Daenerys' fucking dragons and torch him some White Walkers. Yes, my principle watching GoT and has also read all the books. Badass.[/sp]
[sp]Pretty sure only Bran's a warg. Jon's very likely just going to come back as Azor Ahai reborn.[/sp]
[sp]But in the books Jon is very clearly described as warging into Ghost. All the Starks are wargs, but Bran is the one that has mastered it the most. The point my principle was making was that, in a way, Jon WOULD be Azor Ahai because he is using fire, R'hllor's favorite thing, to kill him some White Walkers. He's just not using a magic glowy sword is all.[/sp]
[sp]Pretty sure only Bran's a warg. Jon's very likely just going to come back as Azor Ahai reborn.[/sp]
In the TV series you might as well be right. However, in the books: [sp] john accidentaly slips into ghost on occasion. Also, the wildlings flat out pointed at him that he's a warg. There was this other warg wildling with a shittone of animals that was even commending jon for his warging strength Arya has dreams through nymeria (her wolf that ran off in the first season/book after joffery wanted to kill it). In the later books she even sees through the eyes of a cat on occasions Rickon, the toddler, doesn't have a POV chapter, but you can clearly see that his sadness and rage that comes from the fact that his family are gone clearly affects his wolf. Sansa's personality affected her wolf, though they never realy got that far since it died. Rob and his wolf had similar personalities, though he's not a PoV character so you don't realy know if he had dreams or slip-ins or whatever. [/sp] Also, amongst the wolves, ghost is clearly special.
Shae discussion, spoilers from S4E6 Are you guys serious? [sp] You really all think Shae is damning Tyrion because she's a dumb whore and spiteful over him breaking up with her? There are three possible reasons for Shae giving evidence. 1. She wants Tyrion -executed- because he broke up with her. M'kay. 2. She's being forced to by the Lannisters. This is possible but I'd argue against it as the extent to which she gives evidence "He made me say I am yours and you are mine", or in the books "He made me call him my giant of Lannister" is so extreme I find it hard to believe a woman who cares for him but is being forced would go so far. 3. She was a spy all along. I actually like this one, it would explain why she was so adamant about not answering/playing Tyrion's game when they first met, guessing each other's pasts, why she is so intelligent, etc. [/sp] Shae discussion, kinda book spoilers but really I'm just pointing out differences [sp] The book doesn't have half the idiotic scenes from Shae getting jealous over Sansa to Tyrion actually sending her away/breaking up with her without telling her that he does care for her etc. Which might be why I'm so indignant over Shae seriously testifying against the man she loves - because she's not that hysterical. Yet even in the context of the show I think that's ridiculous, she is still a clearly intelligent character, at least past the levels of a common whore, and I'm shocked that even half of you seem to have decided it's all down to her being a spiteful bitch. [/sp]
Maybe this is just my bad memory, but Shae wasn't in book 1, was she?
