its your bad memory, cause she is

Damn, fooled by my own mind again
Shae discussion, spoilers from S4E6
Are you guys serious?
Point 1 is ridiculous, I agree with you on that. In a show where the actions characters take are complex in agenda and subject to the influence of forces beyond their control, I'm puzzled why so many people are willing to see such a superficial motive there.
2. This is my belief, due to the nature of the people involved, it fits their style to a tee. If you consider that [sp]the Lannisters would not let ANYONE testify whose testimony they haven't written to the letter. Does anyone think the Lannisters would tell Shae "testify against Tyrion, here's your chance to pay him back for what he said to you" and leave it up to her to say whatever? Hell no.[/sp]
3. I don't like this idea, though it is very much in their style too. It's just, so [sp]she's a spy all along...for what? Back when he first hooked up with her Tyrion was a nothing in the larger scheme of what was going on. It would explain why she never took Tyrion's warnings to heart, but still I have to wonder what anyone spying on Tyrion would hope to find out.[/sp]

Toward the end of the book.

Still S4E6 spoilers
[sp] I agree 2. is more likely, overall I hadn't decided on one definite conclusion as to Shae's reasons, and it's entirely possible the Lannister's would have resorted to torture to force Shae's confession to everything, although if this is the case her composure during the testimony is rather admirable.
On 3. it's impossible to keep track of who might want to spy on who in King's Landing, I'd assumed a Lannister would want a spy in Tyrion's bedchamber, but you're right in that the sequence of events is odd in that case - as Tyrion meets Shae on the same night Tywin believes his son will die the next day on the front line of his battles. But I still think that there's much to Shae that isn't explained and is suggestive of her as a spy, as an educated foreigner, I don't want to rule out the possibility since anyone in the seven kingdom's could want spies in a family of high birth. ..probably something GRRM isn't ever going to explain, but oh well. :) [/sp]
[sp]But in the books Jon is very clearly described as warging into Ghost. All the Starks are wargs, but Bran is the one that has mastered it the most. The point my principle was making was that, in a way, Jon WOULD be Azor Ahai because he is using fire, R'hllor's favorite thing, to kill him some White Walkers. He's just not using a magic glowy sword is all.[/sp]
[sp]There's a shitload to remember about a shitload of characters, guess some parts just slipped off my mind, sorry[/sp]
Facepunch: The place that even Reddit is better than at spoiler tagging.
I been wondering
why is it game of thrones and not game of throne
there are other places in the kingdoms that are important too
except harrenhal. nobody wants harrenhal.
I been wondering

I'm happy but disappointed. S4E07 [sp] They didn't even "Only Cat." They managed to fucked that up too. Oh well. [/sp]

Honestly, [sp]Your sister is more impactful for show readers, it immediately clicks as a "Fuck you"[/sp]
Two weeks? What is this bullshit?
As a non-book-reader, I screamed at this episode. Bravo, GoT.
Nah man, stannis gonna die
general rule for game of thrones; If they care about honour or rights or god and aren't too intelligent, they're gonna die. Stannis holds all those bad flags.
/thats just a guess, it's not spoiling anything.
Why would you think Stannis isn't smart? He's a great strategist and generally knows what's up.
[BOOKS] [sp]he's also not that honorable, just pragmatic[/sp][/book]

It's better than a lot of the shit they've ruined tbh. This episode was generally good for book stuff, though [show] [sp]the fact biter is dead sort of ruins[/sp] [book] [sp]the whole biting Brienne thing[/sp]
[sp]the flight plan lists me, my men, and sansa stark. First one to talk gets to stay in my tower[/sp]
[sp]she didn't fly so good[/sp]
you know sometimes i think the nudity is a little gratuitous
but then red woman boobies
TV Spoilers: [sp]I never liked that Aryyn bitch. I'm glad Littlefinger pushed her through the moon-door-thing. I hope her son gets a good smack in the face, too.[/sp]
This show has ruined my empathy. I don't feel sorry for anyone, anymore.
I wish Sansa would've full on punched that kid in the face when he destroyed her snow-castle
