Hafthor Julius looks like such a nice guy Behold the mountain, the true face of terror
Can you imagine him as The Hound's elder brother?
The Mountain's just misunderstood...~
Pfff reading this thread alerted me to the fact they're taking a week off. Darn
Sorry about that show/story combo spoiler. I didn't mean to do that. I guess it just goes to show how easy it is to make a remark you think is just about either the book or the show and yet it can apply to both.
This week has been going by pretty fast, too. It's a shame that we won't see the fight until next week. Fuck, over such a stupid reason too.
Excuse me. Memorial Day is the greatest American Holiday where we can save up to 50% off on a new mattress and bedspread in honor of the men and women who have died fighting for our right to a big sale.
I love how the Mountain's actor keeps changing through out the seasons. Also, If i'm not late, someone made a great cover of the theme song:

Game of thrones theme with Fiddle, harmonica and shamisen. It needs to happen.
I love how the Mountain's actor keeps changing through out the seasons.
ALL THE SPOILERS [sp]Won't be a problem soon![/sp] :v:
well I didn't think those were book spoilers but whatever that's what I was hoping anyway
All the spoilers does imply... you know, ALL THE SPOILERS.
ALL THE SPOILERS [sp]Won't be a problem soon![/sp] :v:
Also all the spoilers [sp]Well this is what I'm really wondering, when Robert Strong kicks in my guess is they'll still keep Hafthor around but technically Gregor's head is gone, so when they eventually show Strong's head (you know it'll happen) I wonder how they'll handle it[/sp]

I'm so bummed that the Mountain doesn't look like this anymore. I didn't even recognize him during season 2. I watched it after it had aired all at once and when I went on FP afterwards and someone mentions scenes with him in it I actually had to go back and rewatch that scene to even understand that this was the guy they were always talking about, but (I thought) never showed.

But like you said, with that helm on top, it really doesn't matter who they get to play the person anymore.[/sp]

Besides, making brand new costumes is hella expensive and I wouldn't even be surprised if Strong's armor was just Gregor's armor but with new paint[/sp]

Not that the show has cared about that in other aspects, anyway[/sp]

Not that the show has cared about that in other aspects, anyway[/sp]
Joining in on these All Spoilers (Specifically ADwD Book Spoilers)[sp] As long as I get my Clegane Bowl, Young Griff crashing onto the shores of Westeros with the motherfucking Golden Company as the Prince That Was Promised, Euron Greyjoy being sexy mcgee with his stupid eyepatch, Victarion rolling in to Essos, I could go on and on but get me all that shit in A Dance with Dragons properly and I'll be set. I'm still most excited for Young Griff. [/sp]
Not realy a spoiler, but ahead of the show [sp]Didn't like Young griff , he seemed incompetent and likely to cause dany problems. That whole cyvass scene Tyrion was thinking "what an idiot"[/sp]
Not realy a spoiler, but ahead of the show [sp]Didn't like Young griff , he seemed incompetent and likely to cause dany problems. That whole cyvass scene Tyrion was thinking "what an idiot"[/sp]
Continuing on from my last post [sp] Dany is twice as more incompetent than Young Griff at this point. In ADwD she makes so many dumb decisions and there are so many subtle metaphors that imply she is not fit to rule and especially not fit to rule the Iron Throne. Young Griff has been doing well and he made one mess up at a game of cyvasse that he got angry about. He's a Targaryen, and so far he obviously didn't end up with the madness side of the coin so he's already a lot better than Dany. He's bound to have some anger and frustration when this Westeros he's been hearing about is finally drawing near and he can attempt take what he's been told is his since the beginning. He was also willing to take advice from Tyrion with "Trust no one". But then again Tyrion considers Young Griff's following actions with heading straight to Westeros as "swallowing the bait" so I have no idea what Tyrion was hoping with leading Griff to do what he's done so far. [/sp] Overall. [sp] Young Griff is cockier and more direct than Dany, but he gets shit done. He was bred from the beginning to act and think like a King. He already has an edge on Dany even with her dragons (who obviously at this point in the books could less of a shit about her). She is a Targaryen but has proven to be a really bad ruler with really off ideals and intentions. Young Griff appears and acts like a Targaryen through and through but his issue is legitimacy. I hope this entire ramble made some sense. [/sp]
Book five read if ur a book nerd like me [sp]Aegon is impetuous and easily fooled, the only reason to not think him as incompetent as Daenarys is because he's literally only existed for like six chapters. Though I guess incompetence is expected if he's really a Blackfyre. Not that Daenarys is much better, she's impetuous, easily fooled, and kinda slutty. For all the other fucking around her biggest mistake is mercy and love. The only other Targaryen who thought like that was Baelor, and depending on your social status he was either known as the Blessed or the Befuddled, to smallfolk and nobles respectively. Sparing Yunkai was super dumb, not because sparing a beaten foe is bad, but because they almost immediately turned against her. And not marching against Yunkai alogside Astapor was worse, because if she really wanted she could have brought down both cities, which had never really stopped slaving, at once. Or, and this is what a competent leader with a valid claim would do, she could have ignored the squabbling slaver cities of the long dead Ghiscari Empire and sailed to fucking Westeros. The Dornish would have risen for her, and I doubt the Crownlords and the Reachlords have forgotten what bank of the river Trident they fought upon. In short the Targyarens are dead long live House Mallister[/sp]
Not realy spoilers, but Contains a character not yet introduced to the show, and i forever must remain overcautious. [sp] Dany is too 'kind' Griff is too 'bold'. [/sp] It's the classic type one and type two error. the male will boldly decide to eat an unknown mushroom and find out it's poison. The female won't eat a mushroom cause she think's it's poison, only that it won't be poison and as a result she'l starve to death (or maybe a predator will eat that mushroom, then her). (yes, that's metaphorical. Only tyrion is offered mushrooms) One character will fuck up by being to decisive. One character will fuck up by being indecisive. The cure: more tyrion. If tyrion wasn't an ugly dwarf that most distrusted and despised (In the TV show he's kinda good lookin' , but it remains the same) He probably would have won the game of thrones by now and westeros would be fully prepared to shove back any whitewalker invasion. Dany NEEDS tyrion by her side.
It's hard to decide how to label this spoiler. What I'm about to post mentions just a name from a book and a cating rumor. BOOK(ADWD)[sp]From few interviews it looks like the cast and production really liked Jason Momoa on the set and there is a rumor they will cast him as Robert Strong.[/sp]
[sp]Aegon is impetuous and easily fooled, the only reason to not think him as incompetent as Daenarys is because he's literally only existed for like six chapters. Though I guess incompetence is expected if he's really a Blackfyre.[/sp]
That part is really more of a season 1 spoiler than anything but yeah. [sp]Aegon isn't just impetuous and easily fooled, he's fucking batshit insane. He's only alive for six chapters in book one but in that short period of time he's shown more lust for power than Dany has in her entire run, and she hasn't even fucking reached the iron throne yet - if Aegon was like that when the iron throne was just a very far, broken promise from a better time, then just imagine how he would have been if he had ever managed to sit on that big iron chair.[/sp] Now onto the later spoilers (way after the TV show) [sp]Daenerys is a fucking idiot and a fool at many occasions but at least her stupidity remains just that. Given it becomes pretty obvious she's starting to lose the wheel by the later books but still.[/sp]

If Tyrion wasn't an ugly dwarf I assume he'd be a lot like Petyr.
leave danny alone she is like 14
