With all these book acronyms thrown around here, my first thought was that there is no book called ASAP in this series. Then I realized I'm stupid.
Its okay. Sometimes I read shit in this thread and go wtf are they talking about.
Just watched the Red Wedding episode. Shit went down, holy fuck.
ah, i remember seeing the red wedding for my first time i seriously wanted to find and hunt down db weiss and that other guy whose name escapes me as i write this.
My mum's just started season 3. She's had absolutely nothing spoiled for her. I'm going to film her as she's watching and hope for a good reaction. She screamed when [season 1] [sp]Ned[/sp] died, so I can only imagine.
Part of you expects [sp]Ned[/sp] to be saved by a miracle or something. That's what every other fantasy does. Red wedding though. I'd read the books by then, so [sp] The change where he brought his wife to the wedding instead of leaving her behind ticked me off a little. How insulting can you get? [/sp]
The red wedding wasn't that big of a deal to me. It was a surprise, but that was it.
The red wedding wasn't that big of a deal to me. It was a surprise, but that was it.
Same. I watch the series alone so while there are suprises and exciting scenes, I don't get excited much. I bet it would be different if I watched it with some friends. If I had any.
Watching game of thrones with friends is awkward.
Watching game of thrones with friends is awkward.
I watched like four of this season's episodes with a friend and it's great to do that if only for the shared reactions.
Are you ready to rumble? http://i.imgur.com/alDm8sH.jpg (still from 408, nothing spoilery if you've been watching all the episodes)
I watched all of Season 1 in a row with a few friends. It was fun.
Are you ready to rumble? http://i.imgur.com/alDm8sH.jpg (still from 408, nothing spoilery if you've been watching all the episodes)
why does the spear look photoshopped?
His face is as smooth as a baby's butt
Fuck spoilers
Move over Ramsay, the Jack is back in town and not even bothering with spoiler tags anymore
Move over Ramsay, the Jack is back in town and not even bothering with spoiler tags anymore
I.. i don't get it, unless im mistaken everything he said was thickly veiled sarcasm?
he posted in RC saying it was "an obviously fake spoiler" and unfortunately got his perma reduced
BOOK [sp]Since the new episode is going to air in a little over 30 hours what are everyone's expectations for how they'll kill Oberyn? Cut in half or caved in face seem to be the most obvious choices. Personally I think they're going to do it just as it is in the book and just as a brutal. The picture of the actor and actress who play Cersei and Oberyn seemingly confirms it, or at least some of it http://i.imgur.com/3QnvszU.jpg[/sp]
he posted in RC saying it was "an obviously fake spoiler" and unfortunately got his perma reduced
That's irritating.. thought it was clear people wound up reporting him for name-spoiling and the "fuck spoilers" mentality, not for ~spoiling~ Dovakhiin dying in book 6. Oh well. Edit: And no I'm not using Dovakhiin as some weird codename there, just giving ridiculous examples :v: (Book 6 isn't out yet)
HE JUST LOOKS LIKE A BIG TEDDY BEAR
Yeah, he looks like he could replace Hodor as the friendly giant. Shame the guy from season one left (I wonder if he was a dick to the cast/production, too, as the rumor goes)
Just got to the episode where [sp]Joffrey dies[/sp]. Someone posted it as a spoiler on facebook a few months ago but I didn't expect it to happen so soon. For some reason I didn't think [sp]he would die for a few more episodes. Also do we ever learn why those kids with Bran and Hodor came all this way and who sent them??[/sp] [editline]1st June 2014[/editline] [sp]Jojen and Meera.[/sp] I never knew their names
SHOW [sp]I was under the impression the Warg kid was drawn to Bran because they're both wargs and are somehow involved in some sort of prophecy[/sp]
SHOW [sp]Jojen isn't a warg. He can't place his conciousness in an animal. He's has greensight though which allows his to see visions of the past/present/future. He had a vision that Bran was a warg and needed to go beyond the wall to a three eyed raven. I guess we'll find out what the hell that means.[/sp]
BOOK/SHOW Theory [sp] I personally invest in the theory that Jojen is actually Howland Reed warged inside his son's body, so that would make him a warg technically [/sp]
All books I guess [sp]I can't wait to actually meet Howland Reed, bet that guy is dope as fuck. Indeed I hope book 6 focuses on ancillary characters a lot more, like what's Jason Mallister up to? Is Garlan Tyrell still besieging Brightwater, or has he gone to take back the Shields? Is Rodrik Ryswell doing anything wacky or interesting? Hopefully we'll see[/sp]
