It'd be cheaper to throw a mismatch of items together than to make uniforms for the wildlings. Furthermore, many of the western armours are rather elaborate. It'd be cheaper if they just used various mails/common armour items for every character and threw a surcoat over them.
the wildlings dont have a mismatch of items, they have fur basically, maybe leather, but no matter what it's going to get covered with snow so it'll look the same in the end. + y'know, symbolism, one army, one goal, their similar armour could be referencing that
Book 3 spoilers: [sp]Man I can't wait for the red wedding to come up, episode 9 is so close now and I'm pretty sure most people who haven't read the books yet will be quite shocked when the musicians pull out crossbows and Catelyn nearly beheading Jinglebell before they finally kill her, I really can't wait to see all of this stuff go down, it's going to be amazing and hard to watch at the same time. I have no doubts about them being able to pull it off.[/sp]

I know what book it's from since I've read up to the latest one, but I figured saying book spoilers was good enough anyways. [editline]12th May 2013[/editline] I may as well add it in since I forgot that some people may click it thinking it's probably book 1 or 2 spoilers for some reason.

so just finished dance with dragons: [sp]oh my god, why jon snow why. im hoping he survives/is brought back to life but i guess he's going to live his second life in ghost. with bran a greenseer, that leaves rickon as heir to winterfell. varys killing pycelle and kevan at the end was a slap in the face, and im wondering what will happen to dany.[/sp]

That way he's alive, yet technically he's fulfilled his vow to the Watch and is released, freeing him to accept a position as Robb's heir, as soon as Lady Mormont or Lord Glover poke out, and take Stannis up on his offer of Winterfell. As for Dany, I have no idea. I'm pretty sure she's going insane though, so maybe she'll finally fucking do something. There were preview chapters from Wind of Winter read aloud by Martin. Apparently Ser Barristan leads the Mereen soldiers out on a sally and cuts through the besiegers because Victarion and the Ironborn land on the shores and break the Yunkai sellswords. So I guess Victarion will be there to offer his hand to Dany and bring her and her host back to Westeros.[/sp]
wait, isn't Ramsay the [sp]guy who's torturing Theon?[/sp]?
no this is ramsay
Is Theon on Hell's Kitchen then?
With all the foods listed in the books, I would love to see an Iron [Throne] Chef Challenge based with a Game of Thrones theme
talisa writing that letter was.. suspicious/weird.
I like how Jun Snuhhhh is starting to sack up among the wildlings.
I'm super far behind, just finished Walk of Punishment. I have a feeling that might hinder Jaime's ability to be useful. Also the ending was very odd. Jaime screaming and suddenly a rock cover.
talisa writing that letter was.. suspicious/weird.
There is a pretty convincing theory regarding her. Needless to say there are potential spoilers in this video, but most of it is speculation.
i want this to be true so bad [sp]this would seriously improve on talisa's lackluster character and somehow make the harrenhal tywin scenes even better than they already were[/sp]
"attack attack" hnng
"attack attack" hnng
yeah i thought that was weird too and the funniest part of this episode was [sp]"What the fuck are you doing to my bear?"[/sp]
quick question. and yes i know i'm four episodes behind. when tyrion send Pod off with all the whores and they sent him back with money, was that part of Tyrion's plan to REALLY pay pod back, or does he just have a giant penis and should i start calling him triPod now
So was the episode good? I can't see it until later
Lol @ Theon. I hope Joff is raging at Tywin in that last scene, should be fun to watch.
I hope Joff is raging at Tywin in that last scene, should be fun to watch.
Second Sons looks like it's gonna be an good episode
Most average of the whole season? God damn people were saying it's going to be a good one because its written by GRRM. This season has been pretty slow but from what I hear it's all buildup to some massive shit.

The entire first 30 minutes of the episode was literally nothing but scenes with fucking/talking about fucking
I thought the ending was pretty wank. [sp]I thought they'd throw Locke in the bear pit, that would've been great.[/sp]
All I could think [sp]when the bear was shot [/sp] was "aww shit PETA"
I thought the ending was pretty wank. I thought they'd throw Locke in the bear pit, that would've been great.
"the things I do for love"
Yeah it was only okay to be honest [sp] The Theon bit was FUCKED though it was such a ridiculous scene but was actually really well-written and played out [/sp]
Yeah it was only okay to be honest [sp] The Theon bit was FUCKED though it was such a ridiculous scene but was actually really well-written and played out [/sp]
That was easily my favorite scene of the ep. [sp]You just knew he'd pop in eventually but when did it with the horn all I could think of was the end of Season 2 when Theon got absolutely assmad at the guy outside Winterfell blowing the horn.[/sp]
