Wow.... *credits roll*
Yeah I'm a little bit traumatized after that. Wow.
Yeah, I've seen some pretty ugly shit but that marks the first time I had to avert my vision while watching a TV show.
Show: [sp]God dammit, Oberyn was the only likable character in this season and you had to crush his skull :( I'm guessing his blade was poisoned or something, Tywin mentioned it when he pulled Oberyn onto the council. Suck a dick Mountain, Oberyn will have his revenge.[/sp] Hurr. Durr. Durr.
S04E08 [sp] Fuuuck, I mean I've seen some gross shit in movies but damn, this is honestly first time I feel legitimately sick after watching that head crush[/sp]
Friend is watching now, eagerly awaiting the explosion of facebook messages when he is done
I've read the books but nothing could have prepared me for the ending of tonights episode. It was pulled off so perfectly I honestly thought [sp] they were going to retcon the outcome of the battle. [/sp]

It was pulled off so perfectly I honestly thought [sp] they were going to retcon the outcome of the battle. [/sp]
[sp]i really thought he would get chopped in half, as they said that elia got split down the middle. so glad they didn't change it though, even as a book reader i was shocked at how gruesome it was[/sp]
SHOW: [sp]Jesus christ Oberyn's head actually ballooned a split-second before the cutaway. Also, OC: http://i.imgur.com/dEreFLr.jpg.[/sp]
Show: [sp]Oh shit, not only is Oberyn fucked but now Tyrion is too[/sp]
That was an interesting episode.
BOOK: [sp]Well, good to know that, except for the whole exploding head deal, everything ends up going the way Oberyn intended... Tywin's health WAS getting suspiciously worse, after all. Getting hyped for the Martells taking the spotlight...[/sp]
Recent ep: [sp]That overtook the Red Wedding for me in terms of shock value. Like I actually yelled out at my screen when Gregor was just crushing the poor bastards head. I hope the Mountain gets his ass handed to him at some point for that. Holy shit.[/sp]
Show: [sp]That's okay, I wasn't planning on sleeping tonight anyways, that was fucking brutal. I mean, all the talk about not needing a helmet, being so cocky and arrogant, I was expecting things to go wrong but oh GOD! It may have only been seconds but I was squirming like a motherfucker.[/sp]
gosh doesn't everyone know never to enter a fight cocky? you will always lose. every time.
SHOW [sp]Oberyn died happy. He didn't really give a shit about Tyrion, he had spent his life preparing himself for the inevitable showdown with Gregor to get a confession, and he had got one. [/sp]

[/sp]
[sp]Oh I'm sure he was happy. Right up to the point where the lannisters dropped a mountain on him.[/sp]

This accurately describes my reaction to the latest episode
Show: [sp]Yes lots of dread over Oberyn, I agree with everyone else yada yada, but what about Ser Jorah Mormont? I am almost as devestated over that as I am over Tyrion. I mustn't have been watching the head very much but I don't care for that kinda stuff so I probably just ignored it sub consciously[/sp] Also I think after this episode I am at the stage where my attempt to read the books will falter because I know too much and it's all too devestating to read through the dismay.

[/sp]
he didn't get a confession though. [sp]he got gloating. while his head was being exploded. there is literally no way to spin that into a positive[/sp]

[/sp]
uh, oberyn definitely isn't the kind of person [sp]that'd ever consider anything involving his own death "happy"[/sp]
Man (SE4EP08) [sp]That was so brutal, daaaamn. I was feeling kinda bummed out because it took so long for the fight to begin, it was worth it[/sp]

Jorah has been feeding information to the people responsible for the complete destruction of her family (because as far as she knows, if my memory serves me correctly, she still thinks Robert Baratheon is the king) from the very beginning, almost leading to her getting killed, all for personal gain. Maybe I'm missing something but what part of that makes it so devastating? Yeah, he fell in love with her but he still kept spying on her.[/sp] [editline]2nd June 2014[/editline]
SHOW [sp]Oberyn died happy. HOLY FUCKING SHIT
I can't believe the feelings I felt while watching the fight, even though I knew what was going to happen, I was actually fearing for Oberyn's life and every time the Mountain swung his sword I gasped. It was fucking intense. [sp]And when Mountain grabbed Oberyn's head in the end and slowly cracked his head apart, I actually screamed and was in tears[/sp] I've never, ever been this invested in fiction. Ever. I'm still shocked. Holy shit this show.
Arya's laugh felt so genuine that for a moment I thought they were showing outtakes Also this shot: [t]http://i.imgur.com/vDMkjMD.jpg[/t] Kings Landing could pass as Disney castle here.
All i got to say is this last episode was metal as fuck. Jesus fuck [sp]When oberyn's was getting his head smashed i was pretty much like ohfuck, ohfuck. The fucking screaming.[/sp]
Jesus fucking christ what an episode.
Show: [sp]Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on any of this. Maybe I'm missing something but what part of that makes it so devastating? Yeah, he fell in love with her but he still kept spying on her.[/sp]
(SHOW) [sp]He only fed information for a short while (he stopped spying when he received the royal pardon I believe) compared to the time he's been by her side and basically ensured her constant survival and eventual thriving. Yes, his motives were impure at the start and had she found out then it'd been justified to kick him out. But there was a very clear change in loyalty for him, a very significant one, which has kept the upper hand since only shortly from the start of his service to her. Without him she'd have been dead or in a gutter on many occassions, his advise was essential. And she's aware Robert is dead.[/sp]
