[QUOTE=Mad Chatter;40636482]The two week gap between episode 8 and 9 is going to be excruciating, but oh man, the wait shall pay off.[/QUOTE]
wait woah why is there a week without GoT
[editline]14th May 2013[/editline]
oh memorial day. guess they'd rather not have GoT then have a massive dip in viewership
I'm going to pester you guys with questions again. Sorry.
Have we seen Stannis' daughter before? I don't remember her. Who's the mom? And why does she look like a lizard?
Also goddamn, I'm starting to like Jaime a lot now. I feel like I've thoroughly misjudged him. Every time he's got a scene with Brienne I like him more and more. (That bath scene. Geeze.)
[editline]14th May 2013[/editline]
I could google all these things but google doesn't care about spoilers. you guys are a bit nicer.
The fuck is greyscale?
also baelish is starting to creep me the fuck out
[editline]14th May 2013[/editline]
tywin what the fuck did you just ask him to do
[editline]14th May 2013[/editline]
shit sorry guys i'm doing it again, i'm reacting to episodes as i watch them that you all have seen already. i'll stop now unless i have questions.
[editline]14th May 2013[/editline]
okay seriously that torturer guy is worth than joffrey
Just started watching Season 3, and holy fuck yes [sp]zombies[/sp]
Also after watching Episode 2 of the first season, Joffrey sparked my hate pretty hard. After 2 seasons I think I hate him more than any other fictional character. His mom is a big cunt as well, and so is her lover. I like Tyrion a lot though, he is a cool character.
i kind of bounce back and forth between hatred and begrudging respect for cersie. it's weird.
joffrey is pretty much always just hatred.
Here, this might help.

the last two episodes was slow they should of played both as one 2 hour episode
I loved the cello rendition of Bear and the Maiden Fair at the end of that episode. Good stuff.
The Rains of Castamere at the end of the episode made me shiver, fucking love that song.
I'm wondering, people who haven't read the books [sp]still don't know who Ramsay is[/sp], right?
[QUOTE=Marden;40638681]I'm wondering, people who haven't read the books [sp]still don't know who Ramsay is[/sp], right?[/QUOTE]
[sp] after these past few episodes, I don't think I want to.. [/sp]
[QUOTE=Marden;40638681]I'm wondering, people who haven't read the books [sp]still don't know who Ramsay is[/sp], right?[/QUOTE]
Correct. The only ID so far was that [sp]he's the son of a Karstark or a Baratheon but that was only apart of his game he's playing with Theon.[/sp]
[QUOTE=Marden;40638681]I'm wondering, people who haven't read the books [sp]still don't know who Ramsay is[/sp], right?[/QUOTE]
well its pretty obvious, + [sp]before 3 or 4 weeks ago, he was listed as Ramsay on IMDB[/sp]
The thing that confuses me is, [sp]When Ramsay helps Theon escape, he could have actually lost him surely? It was just luck that the riders found him and ran him down, and Ramsay was presumably following them. Surely that's a fairly big risk to just be a colossal dick?[/sp]

You're talking like he's sane and thinks rationally.

[sp]ramsay is a very, very good hunter[/sp]

It's not obvious for non-book readers unless you autistically pay attention to every single detail in the show.
Oh dear. Episode 9's going to be...rough.
I don't like the direction they're taking with Shae and Tyrions relationship,
B3 [sp]In the book, when Tyrion said he was marrying Sansa she was all "meh whatevs, you'll fuck a baby into her and come back to me" And this made him uneasy because it reminded him that she was only a whore. In the show she's all "Ooooh, I want to be a lady, I love you with all my hart my Giant of Lannister, why are you looking like that on your wife, I'm super jealous waah waah" It makes Tyrions character less tragic, and I love tragic characters [/sp]

apparently theres a two week gap between 8 and 9, thats going to be intense

i haven't read the books but i've heard about the [sp]red wedding.
time to find a new set of characters to start liking[/sp]
spoiler that
I'm so gonna read the books in English after I pass my exams. I can't get enough of the show.
And I'm actually an illiterate bookhater. Me wanting to read a book voluntarily.. it means something.
sorry :< forgot
i mean people should be used to every character dying. grrm cares not for who you enjoy.
When I first started out the series, I at least expected Eddard to (season 1 spoilers) [sp]last through the first season. I was surprised they killed him off that quickly in the series. [/sp]
I haven't read the books yet, obviously.

Season 1 is most accurate to the books.
The story is far more interesting with george killing good characters off.
but at the same time there's a few characters wo you know are not going to die for a while because it's foreshadowed that they're going to do shit later. [sp]daenerys/jon/jamie/tyrion/cersei/arya/sansa[/sp] and a few more, so you get a little annoyed when george fakes their deaths.

tbh if any of them died it wouldn't surprise me they've all been well lucky so far

S3E7 spoilers:
[sp]I started wondering if that evil torture guy castrated Theon, or only cut off his penis. Then it struck me how evil it would be to only remove the penis. I looked it up on Wikipedia, and true enough:
"Severing the penis without removing the testicles causes intense sexual frustration, since sexual urges and drive originate from the testicles but with no penis there is no way to satisfy them."
Damn. That is evil. Also, I stumbled upon this about castration in early Korea:
"According to legend, castration consisted of daubing a boy's genitals with human feces and having a dog bite them off."
:([/sp]
He didn't just [sp] cut it off. He probably flayed it first. [/sp]
