Also, try to maintain the spoiler tags. It's obvious from the first post that you're still discussing barrels, but the longer the discussion is, the more confusing it gets. And nobody wants to get spoiled, right?

Just watched #10 preview and noticed horsemen fighting wildlings, which can only mean one thing... BOOK[sp]STANNIS THE MANNIS!!!!!![/sp]
I think we should start tagging spoilers very specifically examples of book spoilers: ASOS: [sp]Tyrion's trial was really intense to read.[/sp] Book 3: [sp]The Battle of Castle Black was really vivid.[/sp] examples of show spoilers: S4E8: [sp]Tyrion's trial by combat was executed perfectly.[/sp] Latest Episode: [sp]The scythe scene was unforgettable.[/sp]
SHOW[sp]Uh, so? The Wall is regularly covered with fires to heat up the guards. The Wall is 60% ice and 40% magic, I don't think 12 small fires are gonna break the thing in half[/sp]
SHOW [sp]Of course it's not going to break, but it's not going to be easy to maintain 12 fires on top of a gigantic wall. It's freezing and there's a whole bunch of wind.[/sp]
After this week's episode, how long until the next season?
After this week's episode, how long until the next season?
Too long.
Have you ever built a fire lol
Building one isn't the problem, making sure it doesn't go out is.
After this week's episode, how long until the next season?
I'm guessing it'll be April so I'll be falling back into my worst habits until October runs around, at least I'll have The Walking Dead to keep me busy until GoT airs.
While waiting for the last episode watch this, I loved it! :v: (Shamelessly stolen from the videos section)
You've never gone camping or have had a bonfire, have you?
Have you ever been on top of a 200 meter high wall made of ice and magic in the north?
Have you ever been on top of a 200 meter high wall made of ice and magic in the north?
pfft everyones done that
Have you ever been on top of a 200 meter high wall made of ice and magic in the north?
Gonna turn this argument back on you - have you?
Have you ever been on top of a 200 meter high wall made of ice and magic in the north?
I've lived in Canada my whole life does that count?
Gonna turn this argument back on you - have you?
I've been on the edge of a cliff about 50 meters high, I can only assume it gets worse the higher you get.
I've been on the edge of a cliff about 50 meters high, I can only assume it gets worse the higher you get.
I've been up Scafell Pike (900m) and I'm pretty sure it would have been possible to start 12 very large fires. Can we just end this argument on the fact that fires are possible pretty much anywhere if teams of men are prepared to keep them going and understand from massive experience how best to fend off the wind/effects of the ice, and that since we know nothing about the "60% ice 40% magic" wall the whole premise of this argument is ridiculous? [sp] Am I crazy or were some fires really the least believable thing in that episode? [/sp]

[/sp]
and here's my foot at the edge of the cliff face atop angel's landing in utah, ~1500 ft / 454 m up [t]http://i.imgur.com/3Ehz5fo.jpg[/t] about ten yards behind me were the ashes of several campfires. winds were pretty still, too. so about twice the height of the Wall, and perfectly plausible. also finally, the guard's fires were held in big iron braziers, where the coals or fuel or whatever isn't exposed to the wind, so the fire can keep coming up
Ive pissed off the edge of the grand canyon So, in season 1, when tyrion was talking about wanting to piss off the edge of the world, I totally knew what he was talking about. Its a great experience.

I'm so hyped for the finale! Just want Sunday to be over.
I fucking hate the internet. The spoilers are everywhere. I just read about a major plot point in the next episode on a fucking fitness forum.
