S3E7 spoilers:
[sp]I started wondering if that evil torture guy castrated Theon, or only cut off his penis. Then it struck me how evil it would be to only remove the penis. I looked it up on Wikipedia, and true enough:
"Severing the penis without removing the testicles causes intense sexual frustration, since sexual urges and drive originate from the testicles but with no penis there is no way to satisfy them."
Damn. That is evil. Also, I stumbled upon this about castration in early Korea:
"According to legend, castration consisted of daubing a boy's genitals with human feces and having a dog bite them off."
:([/sp]
Also S3E7 spoilers, but it addresses exactly what you just said.

Book 1 or 2 spoilers, not sure. Think its book two though.
[sp]He is escorting criminals up to the wall to take the black. On his way out of Kings Landing he finds Arya and is taking her up there as well. In the book they hole up in a building when the Lannisters come asking about one of Robert's Bastards that he's taking up there. He refuses to surrender them and a fight breaks out where he ends up dying. In the show he dies as well when Lannisters show up looking for Robert's bastard.[/sp]

An easier question to answer is which big characters don't die
good thing i read all the books, you guys are shitfuck at spoilertagging, jesus christ
So far in the TV show I'm loving the Sansa and Jamie parts where at this point in the book they were horrible. Maybe I just love the actors a lot as they are doing great jobs with these characters.
good thing i read all the books, you guys are shitfuck at spoilertagging, jesus christ
But I used spoiler tags so I fail to see the problem
dumb way of using spoilers:
"hodor is going to [sp]die[/sp]. so sad :((("
yea i cant guess what the fuck that is
I didn't do that??????

An easier question to answer is which big characters don't die
i haven't even read the books and i'm reasonably sure i know two people that won't die. i'm probably wrong though.

In the later books some characters become too important to die. (and some seem like they're too important to die and die anyways)
Surely a decent rule of thumb would be to spoiler tag anything that happened in the last 2 episodes and anything in the future. Not everyone gets to see the episodes the week they come out. Spoiler tag the whole post too.
[sp]Just spoiler tag EVERYTHING[/sp] :v:
i think arya hurt the brotherhood's feelings when she said she hopes the lannisters kills them all, i felt bad for them

Game of Thrones v IV: Bitch about spoilers
10/10 spoiler tags
what does it spoil
that Arya doesn't like the brotherhood?
that's hardly plot-relevant
