yeah but all of that stuff, in the show, is presented to make him seem good to the audience, to build his character in an overwhelming, completely, positive way
But he's still not a 'mary sue' The only real 'mary sue' in westeros is Varys. Varys is fucking perfect.
book [sp]does anyone have any idea if the new released chapters from the new book decide on Jon Snow's and Podrick's possible deaths? I don't want to know the answer until I read it though so don't spoil it for me, just want to know if there's something about them in it.[/sp]
They don't, stuff like that is intentionally kept out until release
Varys is fucking perfect.
I disagree, Varys isn't fucking anything.

Sure he probably had to do what the Queen said to save his own skin, but he really gave off the impression that he wanted him sentenced.[/sp]

Does the queen watch game of thrones? It's a fascinating thought. It's late at night The queen of england, tea in hand, sat up in her bed Illuminated by the 'telly' Whispering to herself 'valar morghulis'
i'm sure the queen would like to get into game of thrones however her feigning loyalty to tolkien prevents it
I wonder how the queen would react/reacted to (Se4ep08 spoilers) [sp]Oberyn's death[/sp]
Why did they change Daarios actor? I didnt even notice when watching until I read like 200 posts here today
Why did they change Daarios actor? I didnt even notice when watching until I read like 200 posts here today
I think it's because he wanted to play in another movie
Why did they change Daarios actor? I didnt even notice when watching until I read like 200 posts here today
Supposedly he decided to leave GOT to act on something else, which is probably a decision he's regretting now. I liked the old Daario way more, he looked more exotic and foreign, the new one is just a typical "good looking guy" with no stand out characteristics.
I mean it is probably a financial decision because it's more than likely a better pay-check for the role in a movie, rather than a relatively small role in a tv series, but I can't see anyone with the option of keeping the role giving it up, Game of thrones is pretty freaking popular at the moment (and with good reason). Wonder why he did that.
Many of the British colonies were named after the provinces of Westeros
20 Aussie dollars say that Australia gets renamed 'dorne' within the next half-decade.
Great Britain was specifically carved out to resemble Westeros on maps
all the actors were maimed to have as close a recreation of the history of westeros as possible
Great Britain was specifically carved out to resemble Westeros on maps
Kinda funny that you said that, because southern Westeros is very similar to Ireland if it's flipped both horizontally and vertically [t]http://i.imgur.com/o2JOyT2.jpg[/t]
Southern Westeros looks like a flea or some tiny bug.

R. Martin has stated that the Wall is a hundred leagues long, or three hundred miles. Thus the continent stretches for about 3,000 miles from north to south and for some 900 miles at its widest point east to west.

Why did they change Daarios actor? The transporter series isn't exactly the best thing around but it propelled Jason Statham's career way up so I guess it's a good deal for Ed Skrein as well.
