Let's be honest, there's more people recalling GoT as 'that show with nude scenes' than 'That show with the complicated story and well planned out characters'
i believe they call it "tits and gore"
Well to be fair the no nude thing was never confirmed to be her anyway, it was even after she appeared nude on broadway so IIRC it was either Talisa or Ros that was the more likely option.
It was actually Talisa's actress who said in the interview that someone wasn't comfortable about going nude anymore, and later on she mentioned that "I'm really comfortable getting my kit off, so if they want to, I'm like, 'yeah, bring it. I'm naked, no problem.'" So it's not her. Also the articles about this controversy emerged around May 20 of last year, so [Season 3 spoilers] [sp]Ros already got wrecked by that point.[/sp] The only leading actresses that were in the early seasons and got nude was Emilia Clarke and maybe Osha's actress, but I doubt it's her. Look at me, the nude detective
Got bored and speculated on what will be in the next 2 seasons; I believe book 4 and 5 still have enough material to fill 2 entire seasons, but maybe that's just because I want to give GRRM enough time to finish book 6. Also, there is lots of story left, no need to rush. (book and show spoilers) Season 5: [sp]I'm still hoping for a LSH reveal, Brienne needs it. Furthermore, I want all Brienne's stuff from AFFC in the next season (so there also better be a Brotherhood without Banners and a Randyll Tarly in there somewhere). Cersei's entire descent into madness from AFFC is a given. She and Jaime need to grow apart, fast! Maybe Lancel can help with that. Leaked audition tapes indicate Jaime going to Dorne. I hope he doesn't take Oakheart's place in the story, so he can go to the Riverlands in Season 6. All of the Dorne storyline could be used in this season. Jon is probably the only character that has some book 3 stuff yet to be adapted. I hope we see that, and everything until Mellisandre's and Jon's plot to save "Arya". Speaking of which. I hope to see how the Boltons pull this marriage off. I noticed show Ramsay has a girlfriend. Will she be "Arya"? I'm hoping to end Theon's storyline this season before the marriage even happens. (because I want Manderly to happen and he'll need buildup) We'll see Tyrion's journey up until he becomes a slave. Trust me on this one. From all the characters we could have seen interacting, we'll get Arya and Sam. I would like to see all of Arya from book 4 and every Sam, except for his last chapter. We'll see Daenerys failing up until she marries. Trust me on this one. (One more meh Essos storyline, in favor of an awesome one next season.) We are running out of Bran and Sansa storyline; I'ld put what's left of it in anyway. Davos's first chapter from ADWD can fill an entire season for him. And finally, I'ld be really disappointed If we don't get some Greyjoy succession action (everything until Euron shows up) In conclusion, fewer deaths happen. I hope D&D don't kill anybody important just to fill the quota. I fear for Jaime, he's in a dangerous position.[/sp] To avoid a larger wall of text, I'll leave out my speculations for season 6 until another time.
I'll be fully caught up bookwise by then and idk if I'll be wanting to watch the show if they spoil the books
Anyone go to the comic con event and see the GoT booth? Don't really see much coverage of it nor any info of anything at the booth.

There could streamline it in a cohesive way easily and that would please book fans as well (probably the stuff with Taena, though I imagine they'd try to capitalize on a lesbian love scene). We could theoretically see Ser Robert Strong by next season due to Qyburn's scene in episode 10. Jamie looks like he'll replace Balon Swann, Arys (or some other anonymous gook that Arianne is banging) could still be in. [/sp]

So, now that the season 5 cast is revealed, it will prove interesting to see how Enzo Cilenti (http://iv1.lisimg.com/image/6196277/600full-enzo-cilenti.jpg) will portray Yazzan, which according to the books, "is so morbidly obese he can no longer stand"

I have no idea who the High Sparrow is, but if he's being played by Jonathan Pryce he must be a big deal.

(book spoiler) [sp]b-but... mah Greyjoys... :( [/sp] Pryce as the high sparrow is amazing, though.
Natalie didn't get much love from the crowd. I also wish Ferguson would stfu

Apparently from this, that isn't all of the new cast. To be fair, as far as story lines go (AFFC spoilers)[sp]The Greyjoys occupy very little of AFFC. You've got Aeron rambling for a few chapters, you can cut that out. Just get some establishing stuff for the Kingsmoot, the Kingsmoot itself, and wrap up the Season 5 Greyjoy story with Victarion sailing out to Meereen, there you go. I'm not really surprised they made the Dornish billed higher than the Greyjoys because the Dornish plot takes so damn long to resolve in the books.[/sp] Also (ADWD spoilers) [sp]they're going to use prostethics for Yezzan right? You know, the guy that's famously called the Yellow Whale? As much as I like the adaptation, I really don't like how they've butchered the extravagance of all the Essos characters. I don't mind them seriously hacking up the Meereenese Knot but come on, I really liked the exotic look GRRM tried to present for the characters in the novel.[/sp] Jonathan Pryce as High Sparrow is some great news though, can't wait to see what he does with him.

mmmm rosabell
Hadn't seen it here.
Since the show began, Martin has contributed one script per season and this series will be the first time he hasn't. He also said that he won't be as involved in the production of the fifth season, and may not take trips to the different filming locations around the world. Martin said: "I've got to finish the book The Winds of Winter. So I'm making the trips I'm already obligated to make, but I'm not adding any new trips at this time. So I don't think I'm going to do a set visit this year, sadly."
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/ustv/s151/game-of-thrones/news/a586652/george-rr-martin-wont-write-for-game-of-thrones-season-5.html#~oLanipShtm2WZm
This is a great thing.
His episodes are always teh highlights of the season, but I'd still much rather see him actually finish the series bevfore he dies
His episodes are always teh highlights of the season, but I'd still much rather see him actually finish the series bevfore he dies
"fuck you" ?
His episodes are always teh highlights of the season, but I'd still much rather see him actually finish the series bevfore he dies
He isn't gonna die...
Martin is 65 years old, him dying before he can finish the series is totally possible.
Yeah old fat men are well known for their health and longevity
Where... Where the fuck are the other martell children?
Where... Where the fuck are the other martell children?
Summer vacation with Coldhands, Mya stone, Donal Noye and Strong Belwas for now.

just finished watching GoT, didn't read the books beforehand (I know I should have) SHOW (Season 4) [sp]why did oberyn have to die :([/sp]

Basically he said which ever one you want, since they've deviated who knows what will happen.
