So whats the ETA for TWOW? Luckily I didn't have to wait for any of the others, they were all already released when I started, finished them all in a year! It sure does suck waiting though...

When GRRM released A Feast For Crows in 2005, he said A Dance With Dragons would be out the following year.
It came out in 2011.

I think someone in the last thread said 2017

I'd say 2015 if I'm being optimistic
"Which leads to the dreadful question: When can the devoted expect book 6?
''I'm not going to say,'' Martin says. ''I've gotten in constant trouble for that. There's an element of fans who don't seem to realize I'm making estimates. I've repeatedly been guilty of an excess of optimism.'' He says he's already made some headway on The Winds of Winter and expects to return to it in January. And fans can reassure themselves that Martin is working toward a conclusion, since he's often said he'll end the series with the seventh novel...right?
''I'm as firm as I am,'' Martin says, ''until I decide not to be firm.''"

It appears there's no specific publication date made.
Later on, as in the end of book 5? Or one of the previous books?
So far, I feel Dany's best moments/scenes were b1 [sp]when she rose out of the flames with her dragons[/sp] and b3 [sp]gained the Unsullied army and taking back her dragon immediately[/sp].
[editline]25th April 2013[/editline]
Everything since has been rather drab, with (b3+) [sp]"oh no, ruling a city is so hard, why can't I just please everyone??"[/sp]
[editline]25th April 2013[/editline]
In particular, I'm getting annoyed with her repetitive line, [sp]"I am but a young girl, and know little of the ways of war."[/sp]
woops, i'm dumb. i should have clarified that i meant sansa.

Ah, yeah. I got to looking forward to Sansa chapters toward the end of AFFC

Your spoiler did make it really clear
In particular, I'm getting annoyed with her repetitive line, [sp]"I am but a young girl, and know little of the ways of war."[/sp]
That line was repetative enough, not to mention the countless spinoffs she uses of it through the books. I swear she spits it out at least 20 times.
She's also irritating because (book 5) [sp]she bitches about how slavery is wrong and all that, yet somehow sees nothing wrong with forcing people to work for a wage that barely covers thier costs, essentially slavery. She also decides that a lady who fled her house during the sacking lost the right to own it, which is arguably a metaphor for Dany - she fled Westeros as a kid (though not of her own choice, she still was sent away), does her claim to the throne still stand?[/sp]
Personally, I liked Dany in book 1, but after that she becomes a bit soso, other than the event that happened in book 3. (season 3, end of episode 3 for the tv)
Holy shit how young does Jaime look in the bran pushing scene compared to now.
So, Margery Tyrell is awesome. I really like her.
Edit: Holy cow. Episode 4 ending. You go Danny!
bronn is cool
I'm really confused. Who is Ramsay?
[editline]26th April 2013[/editline]
Oooh he's Lord Bolton's bastard son? So how come they're not bringing Theon to Robb? Is it literally just because the Bolton's are sadistic cunts?

Don't ask questions you don't want to know the answer to. If you do want to know, [sp]the Boltons and Freys are about to do something really shitty to Robb.[/sp]
LINK FOR Missendai's TITS!!! Now that I have your attention... Big spoilers above me which aren't explained. Don't read if you haven't read book 3

Book 3/5 MAJOR SPOILERS DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU [sp] Yeah, basically Roose is sided with Tywin, and the Boltons take over the Starks as the 'main' family in the North. But everyone in the North fucking hates Roose and Tywin for what they did to Robb, so his hold on the North is a bit iffy. [/sp]
Jesus fucking christ, he just asked who Ramsay is. You don't have to spoil everything else.

The question was "why aren't the Boltons taking Theon to Robb?" My spoiler gives an answer. If you don't want to know the answer to a question like that, don't click the spoiler. Use some common sense; we're on season 3, which covers part of book 3. Any questions on why things are happening a certain way should be assumed that you're getting book 3 spoilers.
You don't want to be spoiled, don't ask and/or don't read spoilers. Why is everyone so damn anal about spoilers? Just don't click them then.
$10 we'll see more of Burn Gorman later this season.

Ahh, I don't want to know any spoilers so I won't click that. I was just wondering if we were at least supposed to know why they weren't taking him.
