i dont think dany is crazy like some people, but she's getting too cocky(in the books and show)
fucking bitch needs a slap to the face
The Targaryen coin landed on it's side when it got flipped for Dany.

What is the significance of this? Was it in the show?

Basically, it's said for the Targaryen family, a coin is flipped when one is born.
One side is greatness (Aegon the Conqueror), the other side is craziness ('Mad King' Aerys).

Oh yeah! I remember that. I believe it flipped on the 'great' side.
yeah, so? her family were usurped. deserved it too, they were all mental cunts
the baratheons are now the rightful kings, and seeing as how Robert had no true heirs, it falls to Stannis.
Technically, the Targaryens are still ruling - Robert and his brothers have some of their blood in them through a great grandmother or some sort.
So which side was flipped with Robert, I wonder... :v:
clearly davos does not see the glory that is the lord of light
or he doesnt see that melisandres hot as fuck
He has a wife. I don't think it's a matter that Mel is hot, just that he's clearly an extremely loyal man, both to king and wife.
Davos is the most honorable man in Westeros who is still the proud owner of his own head.
Guys, I just realized (Book 3 and on) [sp] Charles Dance won't take part in A Dance with Dragons =[ [/sp]

b5 - I'm okay with this because [sp]he's quite possibly the only man who could seriously destroy Aegon's landing in the Stormlands (let alone keep the Lannisters and Tyrells united)[/sp]

b5
No the man that is going to do that ( [sp]destroy Aegon[/sp] ) is [sp]JonCon[/sp]
How?
How?
that itch in his finger
that itch in his finger
If that causes him to fall, then I will probably burn all of my GRRM books.
[sp]Seriously, that would really blow if he infected Aegon. Especially when he's taking such precautions to prevent it.[/sp]
haha [sp]JonCon[/sp]'s thought process is
ADWD [sp]I'M SURE GLOVES WILL HALT THE PROCESS OF THIS TERMINAL ILLNESS AND WILL STOP IT INFECTING OTHER PEOPLE!! of course he's going to give it to Aegon, it's gonna be great[/sp]

[sp]Even if he didn't have it, he's not one to be touchy anyway. Not like he'll give Aegon a hug or something even if he wasn't infected.[/sp]

That callback made me squee.
Why is Tyrion the most ethical in this series?
He isn't though
Why is Tyrion the most ethical in this series?
He is the most morally ambiguous character, purposefully designed that way.
He is also GRRM's favorite, so of course he'll be the most neutral of the series.
I still think that in the tv series, even though he does some evil things, he does it in a likeable way. Whereas in the books he Makes some massive dick moves and it's clear that he's making massive dick moves. (also, he's pretty attractive for a dwarf in the tv series, whilst in the books he's only a little better than quasimodo)
I like to think Tyrion has good intentions.
Tyrion is way too good-looking in the series. When reading the books I imagined him more like this:

Damn it,bet its Emilia Clarke, she looked pretty unsure in the last one.

I'd say Jaime is the most morally ambiguous character, not Tyrion.

That's not really how royal houses work. It'd be like saying the Plantagenet's still ruled England because there are remote ancestries between the current house and theirs.
Nah him and the bloke who played Lucius have come out and said they'd not work with HBO again because they felt shafted after getting cancelled, supposedly in favour of Game of Thrones.
No, James Purefoy (and apparently Kevin McKidd) said that, not Stevenson. He's definitely the top fan favorite for Victarion. I think there's a quite big chance he'll end up getting cast;
1. Been in another HBO show (Rome).
2. GRRM is a fan, and he has some say in the casting process.
3. GoT's casting director has cast him before.
4. He has worked with GoT director Alan Taylor on Thor 2.

Sure. He's just the only person in Kings Landing with any lingering sliver of authority over other people that acts with general kindness towards the right people, while barking or snarling at the rest.
last i looked, bedding Whores wasn't unethical. [sp] Neither is slapping the king, putting a bitch in her place, treating "lowborns" as people and not raping a 14 yearold when your dad says so.
That knife incident. Sorely needed.[/sp]
He's more than comic relief, y'know. There's nothing ambiguous about his morals.

Afaik, he just [sp] grew a soul.[/sp]

Uh, no? As the incident with Aerys proves, he's always had a conscience and cares about people.
It just took a handjob to bring it to the fore. Even before that in the books, when he gains a PoV, you straight away realise he's not a bad guy at all.
