All of his restraint on telling his side of the story was stored in his sword hand apparently.
I fucking hate the spoiler tags in this thread because I've got to be really careful because they might be for the books and parts that the show hasn't covered yet and I really don't have the time read a series of books in one series that comes to about knee height
Yet you have 10 hours to watch a season of TV
the scenes with Fat Crow and Woman are some of the most uncomfortable scenes I've ever seen in this show
God, fucking Daenarys is such a Mary Sue. I cant name a single character flaw she has.
God, fucking Daenarys is such a Mary Sue. I cant name a single character flaw she has.
She's fucking crazy, pretty massive flaw if you ask me.
She's fucking crazy, pretty massive flaw if you ask me.
Not in GRRMs eyes she's not.
She's fucking crazy, pretty massive flaw if you ask me.
No. She got the Smarts. Her brother was batty. She's stern, vengeful and just. How is that Crazy?
Yet you have 10 hours to watch a season of TV
takes less time than reading all the books and if i love a book I spend all my free time reading it so it would destroy me
takes less time than reading all the books and if i love a book I spend all my free time reading it so it would destroy me
Sure you can't read all 5 books in 10 hours but season 3 is almost done... that's 30 hours. But yeah these books are addicting and most people I know who start can't put them down
fuck i bought my sister the first one, i'll nick it off her next time i'm at home i've got a 3hr coach journey on monday so i'll probably get a good way through it
That's not really how royal houses work. It'd be like saying the Plantagenet's still ruled England because there are remote ancestries between the current house and theirs.
I'm quite sure that's Robert's "official" reason for becoming king after his rebellion. No, he's not a Targaryen, but the blood of them in him allowed for him to "legally" ascend the throne.
So, do you guys think that Robb will win the war?
yea he just needs to seal the deal with the freys
yea he just needs to seal the deal with the freys
Yeah, but I don't trust Frey. Guys is freaking nuts.
Panel show with Tywin Lannister in it, good for some laughs
God, fucking Daenarys is such a Mary Sue. I cant name a single character flaw she has.
She has one very apparent flaw: Stupidity: She doesn't think things through. "My sun and stars have just raided this town for no real reason other than that he can. He slaughtered nearly the entire village, and raped them too. Well, if I save this one woman, who was already been raped by 50 guys, maybe she will like me. Maybe she will even help my husband! She wouldn't poison the wound of the man behind the destruction of everyone she loved." show spoilers: [sp]Hurr, better lay siege to this city because they have slaves! Seriously, she changes opinions like a teenage girl changes clothes. "I will invade Westeros", "Nevermind Westeros, I will have to take care of my people", "I will make deals with slavers", "Nevermind slavers, I will free all slaves and kill all slavers!" (btw gurl, 50 % of your kingsguard was exiled for selling slaves), "I will turn down this great offer of ships and gold that could transport my army to Westeros"[/sp] book spoilers: [sp]"instead I will remain here in this city for ages, not listen to good council and generally make dumb decisions and do nothing of importance, while I marry some dude to try and gain popularity with the locals. I will get myself in an increasingly bad situation, lose motivation in conquering Westeros, and only get my skin saved because coincidentally there is a fleet of ironborn maniacs coming this way to break the siege of my city"[/sp] seriously, she is lucky she is surrounded by competent people, or she would have been fucked
Panel show with Tywin Lannister in it, good for some laughs
charles was really quiet the whole time
I seriously hope Greatjon Umber makes a return next episode, it just won't feel right without him there, where's he been?
I seriously hope Greatjon Umber makes a return next episode, it just won't feel right without him there, where's he been?
Probably not in the front-lines, in some tent somewhere chopping up some of Robb Stark's meat
I seriously hope Greatjon Umber makes a return next episode, it just won't feel right without him there, where's he been?
He couldn't appear in season 2 because of a scheduling clash and subsequently wasn't asked to return in season 3, so it seems unlikely he'll pop up. It's somewhat understandable though, with so many new characters this season the budget for actor salaries must be quite strained.
I'm quite sure that's Robert's "official" reason for becoming king after his rebellion. No, he's not a Targaryen, but the blood of them in him allowed for him to "legally" ascend the throne.
Background information, but I guess some could view it as a spoiler [sp]That's his justification. His reason was his warhammer and the army at his back. Tywin Lannister could just as easily claimed the throne, for all the legality involved. Robert was a usurper, he stole the Iron Throne because he wanted it, and most of the Targaryen's were dead anyway, so there was little opposition.[/sp]

It's somewhat understandable though, with so many new characters this season the budget for actor salaries must be quite strained.
just looked this up and made me really sad next ep spoilers [sp]one of the most badass things in the RW was him kicking the shit out of a load of freys and throwing a table over Robb[/sp]
hodor is the most morally ambiguous character
Yeah, but I don't trust Frey. Guys is freaking nuts.
no but they throw one hell of a bedding ceremony, look at our bro edmure
I'm interested in buying the books since I love the show, but I feel that if I read the books and watch rest of the show after, they would feel different in a clashing way.
...they would feel different in a clashing way.
A clash of kings. Ahahahaha...
