So question about Robb's wife
[sp]There was a massive conspiracy theory that she was a Lannister spy and now that she's killed, it's apparently defunct? In what way? What makes you guys think they would let her live just because she was a spy for them? I mean, this is A Game of Thrones we're talking about. Not saying she is or isn't, but I don't see how her death makes the theory completely false.[/sp]

Generally people don't kill their own henchmen for no reason unless they're insane like Ramsay.

What reason would there be to kill your own spy?
Tie up loose ends?
Like ok the show and episode is really well done and the fact that a TV show, in this day and age, manages to get such strong reactions out of people is amazing.
But FUCK.
And why would she get pregnant if she was? Or show so much surprise at what was happening?

A loose end to what?

We'll never know.

Book 3 sproilers
[sp]Remember that Westerling knight from the Crag that got killed by the Freys even though his family was spying for the Lannisters? Well, part of the Talisa spy theory was that she was some random Lannisters daughter(The Lannister fucked a foreign woman, explaining Talisa's hair color). Maybe she is a Lannister and they are replacing her role of the Westerling family member who got killed by the Freys in the books. Just going on by what the theory said, so don't attack me, I don't believe she was Lannister myself.[/sp]
Read the books. That was still delicous.
Obviously, S3E9 spoilers: [sp]Naming the kid Eddard and then brutally stabbing it to death five minutes later? Fuck. Did that happen in the books?[/sp]
wishing emperors scorpius's name was ned right now...
You can't even spell my user name right
Huh, has it always cut off the II on your name? Looks different now
Yeah, it's always been like that.
But I was referring to the missing 'o' in 'Scorpious'
The Starks are terrible decision makers.
i don't know what the name of the girl that's travelling with Sam is, but she's doing a fantastic job (in my opinion)
Really? I think she's terrible, and every scene with her and Sam in it make me cringe. All she does is sport this slack-jawed, open-mouthed look all the time, and her chapped lips get on my nerves :v:
Oh, really? I wasn't the only one who hated all the scenes with them two? Also just, idk if he got caught up in the moment but if the weapon you just used managed to kill a White Walker, a feat noone has been able to manage thus far (?), why would you just leave it on the ground Sam, come on

She's been kept like an animal for her entire life and now she's out in the world. I'm sure everything is like amazing all the time, you'd look like that too.
and it's windy up there
pretty new to GoT and just watched this episode...it was wow
but can anyone who read the book tell me whether or not it gets more...optimistic?
that ending was depressing as fuck

I haven't got a problem with the character, I've got a problem with the actor. She's pretty bad imho. Scenes that include her and Sam (Sam is also bad at acting) cause me to pause every five minutes and do something else for a little while.
Every other character, I love, because the actors do a good job of portraying them. They fucked up on casting Gilly, and it makes me sad because (BOOK SPOILER) [sp]She's going to become a big part of the story, and so is Sam, and I don't look forward to seeing all those scenes with them in it[/sp]
So uh, does this make me a [sp]neo-starkist[/sp]
for once i don't regret reading that spoiler
[sp]i like gilly and sam so that's cool with me, i'm glad they're not (or her, at least) going to die any time soon[/sp]
i think the actor who plays gilly does a good job at acting the character

I personally think she is overdoing the whole ignorant girl from the north bit but opinions.
S3EP9 [sp]Personally when I first read about the Red Wedding and Roose getting loose I thought the Freys were going to get flayed just so the Dreadfort could have power from the Neck up to the Wall. Still was very well done in this episode but I have to say seeing the CGI wolves and eagle attacks made me cringe. They were not very well done.[/sp]
I've noticed a lot of the CGI in this can be pretty poor at times.
The looks.

If you have read the books, you should know that there is no one by the name of Talisa.
I'm still regretting talking major shit about movies and how they always take the easy way out and always letting the protagonists survive after all the struggle with 0 effort, like some sort of bullshit easy way out writing shortcut
I TAKE IT ALL BACK
PLEASE
I'VE HAD ENOUGH
I TAKE IT BACK

No shit, I was asking if [sp]they named the child Eddard in the books.[/sp]
A pretty honest question since it's one sentence that was uttered amidst thousands in the one particular book.
