More 90's Game Of Thrones Tywin Lannister as Chief of police I could easily see this as a GTA game now.
Nah, Tywin Lannister would be the head of the Lannister Corporation, who bribes the police to work for him and ignore his morally questionable actions.
So I finally finished the 5th book, such a great feeling knowing you can't be spoilered :) [sp] btw, I accidentally read here that Daenerys marries Victarion in the end of book 5, but she didn't even meet him, what's up with that? [/sp]

Just got the first book. I swore not to do this, because each time i start a series, i waste SO goddamn much time on the goddamn lore and fandom. But here i am. With the first book. Save me! All i seem to associate it with is insane capability and talent towards the brewing of shitstorms of epic scales.
Now that's how it's supposed to look like! I hate that they didn't put more effort into the throne in the show.
The throne in the show fits the show I believe. That throne just sort of looks like the worlds largest death trap. I would never set foot on such a creation.
that's the point....
It's supposed to kill people that are not worthy to sit on it. Edit: how is this disagreeable this is almost a word for word quote from the book
It's supposed to kill people that are not worthy to sit on it. Edit: how is this disagreeable this is almost a word for word quote from the book
It's suppose to make those who sit on it uncomfortable, not kill them.
syrio is dead
Distance yourself from me, non-believer.
syrio is dead
And what do we say to death?
It's suppose to make those who sit on it uncomfortable, not kill them.
That's one part, that no king should be comfortable in his position. However, it is said that the is the cause of death of many kings, none of which were considered good. In particular Aegon The Mad had a lot of trouble with the chair and was nicknamed The Scab King because of all of his cuts, and people explained it as the throne trying to kill him because he was bad as a king.
Now that's how it's supposed to look like! I hate that they didn't put more effort into the throne in the show.
You gotta understand that budgets aren't unlimited in TV production, as they are in your imagination.
BTW @ the Iron Throne from the last page, if he would've cited where it was from, that's how GRRM originally imagined the throne.
Wow that video ruined like a major death
Wow that video ruined like a major death
it's about seasons 3 and 4 and it says spoilers on it... did you... not expect it to?
Oh yeah I didn't read the video title ha. I knew the death anyway nvm.
ok so I was watching interviews for third and fourth season and [sp]Syrio's[/sp] actor was interviewed omg this is gonna be good [editline]10th July 2013[/editline] oh and they're gonna be in Croatia again so I am looking forward to see that
(s3 spoilers) [sp]they also interview James Cosmo, who plays Lord Commander Mormont. He's most certainly dead.[/sp]
My dreams and hopes are crushed [editline]12th July 2013[/editline] No wait he was in S3 that doesn't count. It was about S3 and S4 after all, death is irrelevant Syrio was only in S1, that's a huge difference I have been reestablished
It would actually be sort of cool if the tv show got some future elements of the book that George RR Martin plans on putting in. Sort of like how things that don't happen until later in the books are creeping into the story in Season 2 or Season 3. So then book readers will be suprised. Like if [sp]Syrio came back[/sp]
What if Syrio was [sp] the kindly man[/sp]
what if syrio is actually joffrey
what if george r martin is the Great Other
would explain why they can only be killed by plot holes
Syrio being alive is the dumbest thing ever, I'm sorry.
