Game of Thrones version IV: Preface your spoilers with BOOK or SHOW

I think the only reason book 4 is considered bad is due to the lack of warfare compared to the first three books. It's not boring, just a bit different than the others. It was needed, I feel, so to set up for future battles and better books further down the story.
I can't wait for some flaying to happen this season.
I'm looking forward to seeing (B5 I think) [sp]full-on greyscale afflicted zombie-type people[/sp]
Just been to a convention in Nottingham and got a picture with hodor and pyp...., was fun

I had no idea about that. It would of been nice to go to it, i've not been to anything like that before.

They're doing it next year at a bigger place, some arena in Nottingham, i'll have to let you know around the time it's on again.

Book 4 is only considered boring because the end of Book 3 is one of the most mindblowing things I've ever read, hence season 4 is going to be awesome. Book 3 is like Book 1, AGOT setup everything that was to happen in 2 and 3. AFFC is sort of like that too, and there ARE crazy things that go down in it as well.
So I just noticed that Book 4 [sp] has no chapters with Jon or Daenerys? Wtf.[/sp]
NYC premiere streaming on GoT's Facebook page for anyone interested. Mad an event time announcer: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Game+of+Thrones+season+4+NYC+premiere&iso=20140318T18&p1=179
premiere for new trailer?

It's the red carpet premiere with all the actors tonight, but there's apparently going to be a new trailer released after that.
Weird for a TV show to have a premiere.

...You've really not realized that Book 4 is entirely characters who don't normally have POV's?

I have now D: Hm, interesting. I wonder if that's the reason why a lot of people doesn't like Book 4 too much.
I will never get the hate against AFFC, it's my favourite book
Jon, Dany and Tyrion chapters are overrated. I love the political intrigue and the general book 4 spoilers [sp]fucking up of Cersei in KL. The Iron Islands is also dope as fuck. [/sp]
Only bad thing about AFFC is Brienne, but once you've read the book once you can skip them.

The Iron Islands are what made me love the book.
Brienne is what made me almost stop reading the book completely.

this post almost made me stop reading your posts completely
I sort of regret reading the books recently. There were really good, but there are some things i think would of been better to find out about for the first time via the show, rather than already knowing everything that is likely to happen.
As someone who watched the show first, and then started to read the books I disagree. I enjoy a lot more knowing what happens in the books and then watching how will the show portray it.
For people who haven't seen the new trailer on Facebook:

Some redditor was at the premiere yesterday and posted a recap of episode 1. SPOILERS obviously: http://www.reddit.com/r/gameofthrones/comments/20s46w/spoilers_all_including_s4e01_so_ive_seen_the/
So, I wonder how will the show do Season 5, since it will most likely cover Book 4, and Book 4 mostly focuses on smaller, less important character POV's and some of the main characters do not appear in it.
I think it's obvious that they will combine ADWD and AFFC chapters, since they take place simultaneously, similar to the 'boiled leather' reading order.

Oh my god.

season 6 is gonna be really bad unless grrm speeds up, then
Knowing his pacing, the show will catch up to him.
