Haha streaming plebes. The TV watching master race wins again.
But yeah that was so much better than the last two season premiers. My favorite part is in the brothel when the Viper asks if they would like women and Tyrion shakes his head no and Bronn shakes his head yes.
Also did they recast a ton of people or is that just me? Notably Daario and Pod.
Pod is the same, but Daario is different. Also, Gregor Clegane was recast as well.
wait so has the episode already started? I haven't really been following the airing times
Oberyn was awesome!
I really really want to watch the episode though I can't find a recorded stream or whatever. :(
the new daario actor is awful compared to the last one

The last one was a beardless plastic Fabio.
I still want a blue beard Daario tho.
I liked the last Daario, he may not have looked like the book counter-part, but I feel like he really had the personality down, just the way he talked and acted.
Thenns, I fuckin hate Thenns.
[sp]Sandor really likes his chickens.[/sp]
Feels great watching this show again. Good first episode
What a great episode. Not entirely sure about Daenarys' new poet/mercenary though, the other guy really seemed to enjoy keeping me guessing as to whether or not he was gay.
HBO ain't updating for me, what the hell is this shit?
I want to watch Arya stab someone!
Nvm. It finally came up.
so good
the new daario really confused me though. i just thought "wait who's this guy" until i saw this thread and found out they recast him. a strange decision.
I can't be the only one who thought of this during the scene where [sp]Jamie gets the fake hand[/sp] (is this worth tagging? The video gives it away basically anyway).

Jamie waving goodbye with his fake hand to the Maester was a funny moment.

I can't be the only one who noticed Jamie and Tyrion and suddenly not blonde any more?
Hmpf, I think i should stop reading books. I were expecting more from this episode..
I read all the books and I liked this episode.
Pretty oposite from most people [sp]Can't fuckin' stand Daenerys, was nice seeing her taken down a peg when the dragon snapped at her, take that ya bossy bitch [/sp]
[sp] So obvious she's not gonna get the throne, her main plan is "ATTACK WITH DRAGONS AND THIS ARMY WITH LITTLE TO NO STRATEGY AT ALL"[/sp]
the new daario actor is awful compared to the last one
last one looked way weird. not believable that anyone would want to bone
Fuck yeah, I loved Arya's stuff this episode.
[sp]Didn't Arya become all psycho and stabbed the Tickler like crazy in the book? Or do I remember all wrong? I didn't mind the shows fight at the inn but i expected Arya to be more psycho than badass.[/sp]
Anyways, Great episode! Can't wait for the rest.

I'm pretty sure her strategy is [sp]show up with an army big enough to protect her when she goes home to let the people know she's back. The dragons will prove she's Targaryen and that rightfully the throne is hers. The people are expected to rise up and support her. The job of this army is not to fight the war to take back the throne. It's all about getting the people on her side.[/sp]

Late book three/season four(??) spoilers [sp]Yeah she did, she stuck him in the back something like thirty times while he was fighting the Hound. It was kinda chilling because she was repeating his litany the entire time (Plus she did it with Needle so that was cool)
Is there gold in the village? Jewels?[/sp]
Thenns, I fuckin hate Thenns.
Reminded me of "I fockin' hate Pikeys" from Snatch :v:
But yeeeah good ol' GoT is back, and what a fine start for the new season too.

Also oddly on-topic, I had started watching Vikings a couple of days ago. It's alright but I named the folder "Vikingshit" instead because it's not that good. I could literally predict some lines, and in general the dialogue isn't that interesting.
I love how this show brings back minor characters who haven't showed up for a while and could easily be replaced/recast, such as [sp]Cersei's spying handmaiden[/sp] and Bowen Marsh (who only had a line or two in season 1).
Man, the Hound is such a badass.
a friend told me that [book spoilers] [sp]arya leaves the hound to die in the book. kinda disappointed, i was totally hoping that they'd somehow work out their shit and become allies-ish[/sp] :(
Major Book spoilers:[sp]Doesn't she leave him outside some town a while after the inn, after he feel of his horse or something? I remember it as raining and the hound almost begging Arya to finish him off. Also: Isn't that's the last time we saw the hound? (for now at least?)[/sp]
