Seriously man get yoself a pencil that you are ok with and do these sketches on paper it'll be more time consuming but the result will be so much better

I prefer black white charcoal on grey paper so I can do highlighting, but I always make a freaking mess in my room when I use charcoal...

well i think with the amount of detail she put into the drawing 10 hours is not that bad

The thing is the read of the image is nice but when examined none of the rendering is very nice at all, to be blunt Also he's done a rough sketch and rendered it out one tiny bit at a time, from start to finish. Maya isn't at a beginner's level but that's a beginner's mistake for sure

I do want to cut down the time, I get distracted too easily... I do some coding, do some drawing, play some games, and etc... What I want to paint? I just want to paint girls... D: I'm just forcing myself to do something different.

i dunno what to say if you want to make a proper go at this 'art as a career' thing (maybe you don't i dunno) you should probably watch some movies and read some books n shit and get inspired - paint some stories, some environments. put really really really pretty girls in them if it makes you more willing to do it. pretty girls are a good way to make some small change on deviantart but it's not great for much else even if you don't want a career in this though it'll be good for your learning and maybe help diversify your skills and keep things fresh but yeh whatever you do you really need to look at your workflow

I just looked through this thread, are you drawing stuff or are you taking base images and manipulating them? I know nothing about art, but either way, you are amazing.
