god damn, you seem to mention your stilts every chance you get
I saw a guy break his arm with one of these, it was pretty cool.
these things are so cool i want them so bad why do they have to be so expensive
Glad this got bumped, I was trying to remember what these were called. Lately I've been thinking of how sweet it would be to have pogo-legs.
These also scare the shit out of me. I want to buy some and give it a try, but that's a long way to fall. Possibly looking at a broken arm. How hard is it to walk and balance in these things? How much practice does it take to learn how to run and such?
These lege attachment devices look to be filled of EPIC

I often let a lot of people try them on, and no one has taken more than 5-10 minutes to get working on them. You can probably get running soon after, and if you are good, jumping the same day(or next time you try them).
Also, it does look like a long way to fall, but as long as you wear some pads, you will be fine. Trust me, I have fallen so many times(I push myself to the limit, so I fall a lot), and I could get up and bouncing again within 5 seconds.
For example this was taken just before I fell due to me being a bit stupid(I kinda let myself fall on purpose).

It didn't hurt one bit.
Also, I am wearing a helmet cause I was trying stuff that I might mess up on, and earlier I was jumping so high inside the gym that my head almost hit the celing :v:. Unless I am trying new stuff and pushing myself to the limit, I don't wear a helmet.
However you should always wear wrist guards, elbow guards(not as important as wrist guards), and knee pads.
These things are a lot of fun, I have a pair myself.

They also make for a great group activity, people love to try them.

I also highly recommend gloves. I went out and bought a pair of cheap baseball gloves, and they've saved the skin off my hands so many times.
This thread again, lovely thread.

Old thread about em.
Imagine the special forces using modified versions of these.
Looks like something that you can break your neck with.
I thought it said "Powerboxing"
I came to this thread expecting boxing on stilts
I am disappointed :colbert:
I wanna try this, looks fun.

Imagine the special forces using their eyes to not necropost.
You must be pretty dense to do flips and shit without a helmet.
this looks really cool. I may have to look into getting a pair. I never knew what the name for these were. Thanks for posting
Holy shit looks epic. I have some money that I don't have to spend on anything. Not enough for these, but still, now I know what I'm saving up for. I could maybe have enough if I sold my bike, then I could sprint to my friends house. And basketball would be amazing with these. Too bad I don't know anyone interested in these.
I'd really like to try a pair before i buy, need to lose some weight :p. Anyone in london can gimme a tour?
I have a pair of these. I've used them a few times, but I don't really weigh enough to fully compress that fiberglass leafspring...
Once I put them on, I walk around on them for a bit... wondering what the hell to do. It's pretty boring, to be honest with ya.
I've walked to work in them -- and back when I was in highschool, I walked around when I finished my last exams for the year. The looks people gave me were awesome.
How fast can you run while wearing these?

Why did you not just bump this thread instead of making a new one?
