Virgin Americas is the best plane I have ever flew in.

I enjoy flying with Allegiant Air because you win money on the flights.
I normally have my face stuck to the window looking at the view the entire time.
How do you turn a profit if it's cheap and they give you all this?
Tons of customers.
Great service, a comfortable and entertaining flight, and at a good price? Who doesn't want that?!
Too pink.
A very fitting airline for the users of Facepunch.
I thought entertainment 'systems' were a basic for any respectable airline?
Singapore Airlines has them. The best experience I had was when I flew on an SIA Airbus A380 from Singapore to Tokyo, best 7 hours in a plane EVER.
There were power sockets and a USB jack for you to just whip out your laptop and connect it to your personal "entertainment system". The thing I like about SIA flights are the endless about of movies, television shows and documentaries that are updated monthly. Along with the must have music and games.
Since it was an A380, everything was brand new. I love that new aeroplane smell. :smug:
While Virgin America is certainly cool, I got the opportunity to fly in a Qantas A380 from LAX to MEL. I was lucky to get a free upgrade to business class.
First of all, the seats / bed is amazing. I've never slept so well on a plane, and the other thing is for anyone who likes computers, they've got a network you can plug your laptop into if you want to LAN against another person on the plane. Also, all seats, no matter what class, had USB and Ethernet ports, and AC power.
Also, the built in entertainment system was amazing. Heaps of movies, heaps of music, heaps of documentaries, heaps of TV shows, all on demand, for all classes. Also, you get access to tailcam, and essentially Google Maps, with the aeroplanes current location being shown. You can control, view satellite images, and heaps of other cool stuff. Also, you get live news, just incase you're midflight, and your country disappears off the map (anyone seen The Terminal?).
Sorry angelangel, my flight was 14 hours on the A380. ;)
The best I've ever flown on was KLM Airlines. We got like 6 meals for an 8 hour flight. Plus, bad ass movies and shows. I also got a front row economy seat, so I had all this open spae
6 meals in 8hours, what are you, some kind of fat fuck?
The only plane I was in sucked and the only entertainment was the guy sitting next to me reading a fishing magazine.
They even make the best adverts!
6 meals in 8hours, what are you, some kind of fat fuck?
I'm guessing what he means is two meals and snacks in between.
The last time I flew, they only had one sorta large TV in the front of the cabin.
Some fat fuck was sitting in front of me and didn't feel like moving his head, even after I asked, and I had some chicks fucking toddler strapped in next to me who wouldn't calm the hell down. I was so ready to beat the hell out of that kid after the first hour since he couldn't hold his piss for longer then 15 minutes and kept complaining for cookies.
I hate airplanes. I want underwater trains.
I'm still not convinced that there is an airline better than Emirates.
I went on this bout 7 year ago to florida , no touchscreen back then but it had films and tv shows
That safety video actually held my attention
Virgin Trains is definitely the best airline!

They didn't

Also, Virgin America looks good, I hope that these services are used in V Australia, but to be honest, Emirates and other airlines have had similar systems for years.
you guys forget these are the guys who want to take you're internet away
Am I the only one who's never flown in an airplane?
Im australia and over the pacific, the virgin airlines are the crappiest pieces of shit apart from jet star. if your in australia, dont fly virgin blue, V australia, or pacific Blue. all the same company, all crap
Those colors would give me a serious headache
yeah man branson is cool, he said if weed became legal Virgin would sell it!
Awesome
Shit... When I was flying back home from UAE, my flight was fucking awful. The crew wasn't friendly, they were screaming at people and stuff.

On the other hand, flight to UAE, was pretty nice.
you guys forget these are the guys who want to take you're internet away
fuck I don't want them to take I am internet away
One time I flew for a long time and hacked a system like that. I opened up a context menu using a .gif UI frame, pressed 'Save As..' and deleted the 'Boot' folder using the mini explorer. On the way back, we got the same plane and the Captain said "There will be no entertainment during the flight -- the system won't boot up". :D I cheked the airplane ID and it was indeed the same airplane.
Last plane I flew on was a Southwest 737. We had none of this cool stuff... And, if that didn't suck, on one of my flights the guy at the window next to me was a RATHER LARGE MAN. As in he took up half my seat...
Last plane I flew was a Air France 777, jesus it sucked
airline looks pretty damn good
Don't fly Air France, ever.
