Popularity isn't like it is on tv, at least not at my school. Yeah, the very most popular people are the best athletes and most attractive people, but a lot of the popular group are just a bunch of unattractive, unathletic people who are just hilarious or fun to be around. You may not get poon every weekend, but if you're funny and comfortable to be around, you'll go far.
