I love the giant squid, I find it the most amazing and intersting creature to study
that camel spider is a motherfucker
Damn big cat. Would be awesome to have one of these. But if i am correct, species who are in the same family but not the same species which breed wouldn't get a offspring that would be able to reproduce? Like horse + donkey = mule + mule = nothing...
I'm pretty sure something becomes classified as a seperate species when it's able to produce fertile offspring.
I'm pretty sure something becomes classified as a seperate species when it's able to produce fertile offspring.
im not 100% sure .. but i belive i heard that theres a cross-breed of two dolphin species that make a fertile hybrid.. Bottlenose and a spotted dolphin i think it was ..
I love the giant squid, I find it the most amazing and intersting creature to study
Yeah, to bad we know so little about it. We don't actually know how large they can get. We have only found giant/colossal squids when they are dried up on shore or caught by fishermen. And this happens like 1 time a year since they are so rare creatures. We need to invest more money in deep ocean research and get new technology to submarines.

But... trilobites are still alive ! I can swear I saw some last year. They moved by propelling water behind them and such :saddowns:
But... trilobites are still alive ! I can swear I saw some last year. They moved by propelling water behind them and such :saddowns:
You talking about Horseshoe crab? Limulidae is the only recent family of the order Xiphosurida and contains all the 4 living species of horseshoe crabs. They look similar to, but are not, crustaceans. Horseshoe crabs fossils have been first seen in the late Ordovician. Horseshoe crabs are found in shallow water on soft sandy or muddy bottoms. There has been a decline in number of individuals, as a consequence of coastal habitat destruction in Japan and overharvesting for use as bait and in fertilizer along the east coast of North America. They actually have blue blood :v:
That last fish made me cringe...
Cat: Rawr I'm hungry!
You're late by a few pages. You even used the upload link that I used.
After days with research i have come to a final anatomy of the coconut crab. Here is what its parts of its body are for:
No sturgeon? For shame. These big ass fish are actually rather harmless bottom feeders, but goddamn they can get huge, ranging from 2 meters, all the way up to 5.5 meters in length. For you non-metric types, that's 7 to 18 feet. Back in days of old, you would fish for these big guys with mule teams and expect to lose at least two mules in the water. For some odd reason, they're my favorite fish next to sharks.
It's just the spiders, the rest are awesome. I want one of those.
do you want to wake up with that THING on your face?
do you want to wake up with that THING on your face?
He wouldn't wake up with only 1. When he was sleeping it probably had already laid eggs inside his head so when he woke up in the morning and his brain activity started to go higher the eggs would hatch and he would be a living nest of those. But that's just fiction right?
Oh God that would be painful... wouldn't it?
Neeeh, when it have laid its eggs it also inject this serum that make your head go into anesthesia. So you wouldn't feel a thing. But you would have a good show of how they would eat your body. Pictures of a victim. The isopods capture its victim as said by injecting a serum that makes them go into anesthesia and after that lays eggs inside you. And the slime/spiderlookingweb is a slime after the isopod have laid eggs. There are not good pictures of the victims of giant isopods because they all have been confiscated by the police or military for future research. :v:
And here's the largest freshwater fish in Europe; the Wels Catfish (Silurus glanis)
And here's the largest freshwater fish in Europe; the Wels Catfish (Silurus glanis)
Looks like a fish reunion. They don't look sad more like "Woho! I got caught today again!"
It's just the spiders, the rest are awesome. I want one of those.
They're cute as shit. They're like pill bugs that you can hug. Plus, they don't piss out of their skin. :D Also, why the fuck is this guy pointing the tooth at his dick? [editline]05:41PM[/editline]
and here's the largest freshwater fish in europe; the wels catfish (silurus glanis)
I REALLY REALLY WANT ONE. Look at it. It wants a hug.
Also, why the fuck is this guy pointing the tooth at his dick?
He is measuring the size of it. And by holding the shark tooth in his hands you get a picture of how big Megalodon is.
Does the Barracuda count as a huge fish?
Does the Barracuda count as a huge fish?
What you mean by that? It isn't that huge but it sure has some dangerous looking teeth.
Japanese fighting fish otherwise known as betas? Those things are awesome pets
They die quick as shit. Especially if you keep putting a mirror up against its tank like my dick brother did. It prety much died of stress.
I added some videos at the frontpage to some certain animals. I didn't find any good videos to the other ones. Most videos are where they just irritate the animals and not videos in their natural habitat.

I don't care if it's not relevant, you still need this to see video. I will make it my mission to make everyone I know see this since I saw it on tv, and that was 3/4 years ago. They're still animals, so it's partly relevant. 1:27 to the end will change your life.
