that fucking worm... STOP POSTING HUGE IMAGES!!!!!!!!! SCARES THE SHIT OUTTA ME.
One time I got stung by a scorpion while my foot was under the desk of my computer, it just crawled out of the wall and onto my foot. After reading this I had to pick my legs up and sit in the chair cross legged. I find this stuff interesting, but I get paranoid.
I fucking hate japanese spider crabs! Gahhhhh!
OP you better add this shit
Im not sure, but is that a giant Japanese troll crab?
Im not sure, but is that a giant Japanese troll crab?
Japanese Spider Crab. I got this funny thing for crustaceans when I played Eclipse Phase and my character had a gigantic synthetic coconut crab and japanese spider crab crossbreed body

Well, this thread is officially nightmare fuel.
OP you better add this shit
Added, and thanks :)
Nope, camel spiders. Google plz.
"Camel spiders" don't have necrotizing venom, because they don't have venom at all http://www.emedicinehealth.com/spider_bite_brown_recluse_spider_bite/page11_em.htm#Multimedia

Maybe the wound got infected, then. In that environment, infections come easily.
Oh. Maybe the wound got infected, then. In that environment, infections come easily.
Im not an expert on camel spiders. But what you say may be true, but i probably think they carry a lot of bacterias. Like the Komodo Dragon, it mainly kills the pray only because of the dangerous bacterias they have in their mouth. So a creature don't need venom to create a horrible bite.

Fucking spiders, I can handle the giant crabs, the giant worm and most other things you can throw at me,but not spiders.
Too bad the pictures are confirmed brown recluse bites
As i said, I'm not an expert.
I think most of them looks cute. Minus the "poisonous" part for worm and jellyfish. Squid looks sad. :(
I live in a tiny Cornish fishing village, so i get to see some creepy shit when the tide goes out. Most of it comes from fishermen who throw unsellable things overboard as they come into port. They usually include huge spider crabs, not nearly as big as the Japanese variety, but still fucking big enough, and other things like the heads of giant angler fish. Still the scariest thing i have ever seen has to be a gargantuan jellyfish, literally the size of a breakfast table, oozing in the empty riverbed surrounded by children prodding it with sticks.
I think the most amazing creatures are the precambrian ones that aren't ancestors of any life left on earth today. It's called hallucigenia because of how weird it is. It has 2 sets of appendages that are useless for locomotion, and a weird blob at one end that scientists have designated to be the head, but it has no features common with heads such as sense organs or a mouth.
I love elbowed squids.
I love that video. That thing looks so other-worldly. Makes you wonder what else is hiding in the deep ocean.
Camel spider Giant Camel Spiders have been known to run around 10 MPH. Although most Camel Spiders are about the size of a credit card, they have been know to grow larger than 10 inches, especially in the deserts of the Middle East. Camel Spiders are common in the Middle East, but they can also be found in the southwest U.S. and Mexico. The Mexican's call Camel Spiders matevenados, which translates to"deer killers" in English. They are not venomous but can leave a terrible wound if bitten.
That thing is fucked up.
Getting entangled in one of those and you are pretty much screwed up i guess.
We've started to attract the Portugese man of war in Cornwall over the last couple of years, but giant possibly-harmful things will always scare me a lot more than small deadly things.
Anything that's above 10 meters in length and in the deep ocean scares me. Hell, the deep ocean itself scares me. Scientists have discovered so little of all of the ocean life on this planet.
You're gonna love the bloop.
