My cat pisses everywhere, is there a way I can fix this?

My cat did that few years a go, But then i got tired of him and got him put down.

Ever since that the only smell of piss that has reached to my nostrils has been my own.

I forget the name, but there are synthetic pheremones that mimic the pheremones produced in the cat's chin and face (when they rub their faces up against something, they are leaving a scent as well). It makes them calmer and less likely to spray.

If your cat has a urinary tract infection, has had one in the past (and has been continuing this behavior since then, where it did not appear before), ask your vet about non-steroidal anti-inflamitories.

I have a white cat, who is dumb as dirt, sweet as hell, but had a UTI for quite some time that went unnoticed that caused he to pee RIGHT outside the box spilling all over the tile, making it smell horrible and a real bitch to clean up.
After the UTI was eliminated, she continued this behavior, but recent studies have shown that some non-steroidal anti-inflamitories can help with this.
We have our white cat going on daily doses dissolved into her food, and she NEVER pees outside of the box now, and every time we miss a dose, she has peed outside the box.
Also, get clumping litter if you don't have it, it makes it easier to clean, it generally absorbs the smell better too. I suggest Arm & Hammer.
