the worst of the terminator franchise)
T3's ending was basically Skynet launching the missiles with a ~dramatic~ view of the Earth being shown so we can see the detonations.
Can't deny it looked nice though.
oooohh i see the problem
(t3 was horrible and the worst of the terminator franchise)
[editline]1st September 2013[/editline]
oh man getting rated dumb by someone who liked terminator 3 really tickles my funny bone
I just imagine that the Terminator franchise ended with 2. Everything else after is just an elseworlds/alternate universe story.
T3 offended me to watch. fuckin awful.
I totally forgot AVP: Requiem existed too haha that movie was amazingly bad.
I totally forgot AVP: Requiem existed too haha that movie was amazingly bad.
I would just like to add that Requiem had the worst goddamn lighting ever and made so many things look cheaper than they already were.
I also believe the film makers have a fascination with pregnant women. They also did Skyline right? If you've seen both then you would kinda get what I'm talking about.
Well Paul WS Anderson is one of the worst contemporary directors so its no surprise the film failed in all aspects
[editline]1st September 2013[/editline]
oh he only did the first one (also terrible)
He is also directing Pompeii which always baffles me.

salvation was not very good at all. but it was miles ahead of 3.
salvation was not very good at all. but it was miles ahead of 3.
Ehhh, I'd put 3 way ahead of Salvation personally.
Terminator 3 was watchable, Terminator 4 was a fart that didn't need to occur. Worst Bale film by miles.
the end of Cabin In The Woods was the best part??
It was a very smart film overall. one of my favourites last year. Great homage to and critique of horror imo.
In my opinion it was a really lame attempt at being smart, moreso since everything was known to the viewer from the very beginning.

I burst in tears from laughing when both helicopters crash into the hangar in 3.
The second one after a friends of mine jokingly suggesed a second one comming in.
maybe you thought that but you are kalluah so oh well
Scent Of A Woman - 7/10, liked it but I think Pacino doesn't fit the role 100%.
Pacino doesn't fit the role 100%.
how so?
how so?
Can't pin it, maybe he looks not old and worn out enough in the beginning.
been marathoning this shit
Escape from NY 8/10
Escape from LA 3/10
The Departed 9.5/10
Pandorum 7/10
at least t3 has kick ass action scenes and schwarzenegger. salvation is just extremely dull
Elysium
Kruger/10
While District 9 had better story I enjoyed Elysium much more. It has flaws but overall I really liked it. The movie made me feel like there was effort put into it. Except for Jodie Foster who plays generic evil lady.
Well they are currently making a new Terminator film with Arnie returning if anyone didn't know, though might need some cgi to give him abs again
jumping quickly back into the whole cabin in the woods flow
i just rewatched it the other day and i have a theory as to why everything went to shit:
holden was the actual virgin, since glitches are constantly brought up by the corporation, i think they fucked up with the crew. not to mention we all know that dana is not a virgin. but yeah, they switched the two on accident. and since the virgin didn't die last or outlive everyone else, at that point it was hell on wheels mode for everything else, and killing marty would have made no difference.
that's all. also the whole 'angry gods' thing was referencing the audience. if you didn't really catch onto the satire then you are, in fact, stupid.

That's what I was thinking, maybe there just make him CGI but keep him around for the VA

I don't think the movie went that deep. Holden was smart but he was also the greatest receiver in the state or someshit according to Thor. The sterotypical football player pulls in mad pussy so I doubt the dude was the virgin. Everything went to shit because the fool/stoner/nerd/comedy relief character, who dies 99.9% of the time in every horror movie ever, survived. I do agree with ya on the Old Gods thing though, you are absolutely right about that.
i always buildup an urge to laugh whenever someone brings up how ~beautiful~ the ending to terminator 3 was
its just as dumb as the intro to olympus has fallen, the fact that both these scenes are there for the sake of making the movie out to be more emotional/philosophical than the actual pile of shit that it is
[editline]2nd September 2013[/editline]
dont get me started on claire danes repeatedly shouting DADDY in public at his work
Don't get me wrong, I don't think that it's a particularly good film by any means but I do think that it was a good deal more entertaining than Salvation was and it explored a lot of cool ideas.(such as Skynet's take over, I personally thought that whole sequence was pretty cool.)
I think I need to rewatch it to fully judge it though, it's been a number of years since I've seen it.
I just know that the antagonist sucked, Nick Stahl was horribly miscast, and Claire Danes was kind of annoying in it.
I'm interested in seeing Salvation just for completion's sake.
Terminator and Terminator 2 are two very different, but brilliant action movies. I prefer the first one personally, but I love them both.
The third movie was really bad, but Salvation is honestly one of the worst movies I've ever seen, bar none. You couldn't pay me to watch that shit again. It was so fucking BORING.
I thought the third movie was enjoyable but certainly not a bad movie, Salvation was just terrible
The third movie was an unwatchable turd, Salvation is bad but at least it has moments, and by moments I mean one long camera shot of inside of a helicopter when it's crashing.
Other then that it was boring and bad, and the opening was like a soap opera.
Just watch the first 2 and pretend 3 and 4 didn't happen.
Just watch the first 2 and pretend 3 and 4 didn't happen.
Just like Alien.
I'm interested in seeing Salvation just for completion's sake.
You really aren't missing a damn thing.
If you're interested in the post-apocalyptic scenario of it all just watch the original two movies and just skip to the future scenes.
Or better yet, just watch this:

And nah, the Alien 3 Assembly Cut is a pretty good flick.
I have a bit of a soft spot for Resurrection as it was my first Alien movie, it's entertaining and the banter between the characters is amusing.
I just hate how they basically made the xenomorphs into serpents and the humalien was just beyond retarded... and the Ripley clone idea was really stupid too... as was the Winona android... uuurgh, okay, it was a bad movie.
