The Trip - 8/10
This is one of the greatest double features you can have. 10/10
I did that one time, it was interesting because Dredd was more of an unyielding hardass than a robot
Not to mention that Robocop was originally to be Judge Dredd.
Not to mention that Robocop was originally to be Judge Dredd.
I'm pretty sure he was just very much inspired by Judge Dredd. Is there a source that the film was originally going to be about Dredd?
Anybody see You're Next? I'm looking for a song on the soundtrack
which song
Ah yes the electronic one when Erin is [sp]laying traps for that bro in the basement, I think.[/sp] Not Looking for the Magic. [editline]6th September 2013[/editline] totally forgot to finish my other post
I'm pretty sure he was just very much inspired by Judge Dredd. Is there a source that the film was originally going to be about Dredd?
After several rewrites script for Judge Dredd became a Robocop.
After several rewrites script for Judge Dredd became a Robocop.
I thought it was just an urban legend? Because I can't find any sources on that and it's contradicted by Edward Neumeier when he said he was inspired by Blade Runner. Instead of a cop hunting 'robots', it was a robot cop. Although the latter background is still kinda shaky as I'm having trouble finding multiple good sources for it but I couldn't find any for the Judge Dredd rumor. watch from 1:57 to 2:22 In fact, the only place where I can find that statement is on the imdb trivia page for Dredd. Edit: Yeah I'm being way too anal about this, I dunno, I like movie trivia and all but the Dredd script -> Robocop seemed a bit off to me.
Went and re-watched World War Z. Maybe now that some time has passed, maybe I can deal with it better, right? Turns out it's still an awful movie. It's still riddled with retardation, forgettable characters and bad writing. The only thing it has going for it is that it's some pretty neat eye candy. As much as I hate the rest of the movie, [sp]Jerusalem getting overrun[/sp] was a joy to look at.

[editline]6th September 2013[/editline] totally forgot to finish my other post
it was written for the film. pretty sure its by Mads Heldtberg. might have to wait for a soundtrack
i loved those parts with the music, been trying to find them ever since too
Man I loved the end of that film. I was so happy when the score went totally John Carpenter. Love his scores. [editline]6th September 2013[/editline] Escape From new York theme is one of the best ever
Breaking Bad is just getting exponentially better (on s4 now)... Mr Cranston needs lead film roles once in a while. I need to catch up on some 2013 flicks, Disconnect, Bling Ring, Wajda, Beyond the Hills... etc.
Terminator- 8.5/10 Terminator 2- 9/10
Sounds like a keeper.
Girlfriend came over and we watched some of her favorite movies. Let Me In- 8/10 Terminator- 8.5/10 Terminator 2- 9/10
i hope u meant to write let the right one in instead of let me in otherwise u should break up with her :)
let the right one in is great let me in is also great
Cat & Mouse The Movie (also known as Riddick) Pretty much what I expected. B-movie plot, B-movie dialogue, largely B-movie acting, A-movie production values. Solid action flick overall but never really aspired to be anything greater than that.
Deep Impact (1998) Is this and Armageddon just a coincidence? It feels like it never ended, some good destruction near the end but the whole thing was just meh. 5/10

Kind of like how we can have two movies about terrorists attacking the White House in theaters within a few weeks of each other.
Drive 10/10 Love this movie, never get tired of it.
World War Z 7/10
World War Z 7/10
Watched it too 5/10 what a waste of resources.
We gave up watching it, so terribly bland
I always wondered about that. Kind of like how we can have two movies about terrorists attacking the White House in theaters within a few weeks of each other.
It's never just a coincidence, it's actually quite common in Hollywood - it happens at least once a year
Are any of the riddick films anything more than shit? They've gotta have a fanbase somewhere for having so many films.
the first ones pretty good. the second one is cool at parts but tbh the space-y stuff legitimately feels like Battlefield Earth, from awful acting to set design to direction (literally every shot is a terrible dutch angle) im kinda interested in Riddick I guess but the plot looks 100% the same as Pitch Black
I Saw the Devil 8/10 Jesus fuck
I just saw the sequel to blair witch 1/10 seriously that movie fucking sucks
