That's what I was looking forward to, a character driven movie, but I found them to be flat and boring.
I'll probably give it another chance at some point.

dude's directing the Godzilla reboot, that's got me hyped at least.
Dang, it'll be written by Darabont (shawshank, green mile). Building up to be one much needed remake.
It's probably more a filmmakers film than a mass audience flick. It was probably advertised as a Cloverfield remake. But it's not even focused too much on the creatures themselves. Most of the film is the protagonists reacting to the world that is affected by it.
It's photographed so damn well, those shots from the boat... I just can't even comprehend how it was budgeted at half a mil.
So glad they chosen the director of Monsters to direct Godzilla
monsters was awful

'lets walk through a monster populated area im sure we will be fine ok now lets just hang out on top of this thing when there are monsters around and star gaze everything fine"

I got mentioned on "Seen It" for recommending Hellboy. I went back and watched that clip five or six times.
Just watched Riddick.
9.2/10
Fucking kickass film, especially if you liked Pitch Black and/or Butcher Bay/Dark Athena. Great action, well acted, looks great, sounds good, just overall really badass. It's nothing like The Chronicles of Riddick, trust me.
Thanks, you just saved me money.
Just watched Super
teared up a bit at the end, really good film
[editline]19th September 2013[/editline]
For whatever reason, happy sad endings always get to me more than straight up sad endings.
Scary Movie 5 4/10
It felt like too many tired gags and I miss the blonde girl from the previous films.
I haven't watched any riddick before, and i watched this one, and while it was super cool, the story was so fucking boring
anyways has anyone see insidious part 2?
Live Bait - 2.4/5
yay canadian cinema

I'm confused. Pretty sure Chronicles of Riddick was a bad film?
the space stuff was bad and overacted but riddicks still cool cos riddick is always cool

Nah, Space Conan owned.
It was fun as fuck and I didn't want a Pitch Black remake.

It's less of a Pitch Black remake than you might think. If you liked any of the previous movies, you'll enjoy this one.
I didn't really like Chronicles of Riddick, but pretty much everything else with Riddick in it is awesome.
i just got back from watching jobs and it was alright... not too special. i believe only apple fanboys would really find the whole history of the company interesting as a movie
Chronicles of Riddick was a giant hunk of shit.
i kinda sorta in a way
just a little
liked chronicles of riddick
Chronicles of Riddick was a giant hunk of shit.
Can't handle the Diesel, brah?
It's okay, I used to be like you.
And then I accepted him.
Vin Diesel is a huge nerd and I love it.

Vin Diesel is awesome, that movie isn't.
pitch black owns chronicles is terrible and riddick is just alright
so it has been decreed it shall be
The Green Mile - Still a 10 out of 10 for me.
Been a couple years since I last watched this movie and I still can't find any major flaws in it. Great performances all around (especially from Michael Jeter and of course Michael Clarke Duncan) and the scene with [sp]the botched execution[/sp] still makes my blood run cold.
I know just about everyone here has probably seen the film, but I still enjoy it immensely.
