Don Jon - 7/10
Now excuse me while I rethink some of my life choices.
You Only Live Twice
4/5
On one hand, it has some pretty cool moments, like the port fight scene, but then again, the shoddy Japanese makeup and the random killing of [sp]the love interest[/sp] just seemed wrong. Also, I nearly burst out laughing once I realized that Henderson played the narrator in Rocky Horror Picture Show, but most of the laughter and off moments are from a different time, which makes it hard to fault at times.
The Hobbit is generic fantasy garbage. It's one of those movies where you're looking at the time just waiting for it to end.
the hobbit started the "generic fantasy garbage" that you're talking about, fyi.
I saw desolation of smaug today and I can't believe they used a gopro for the barrel scene basically
so it was really cheesy and the dialogue was soo clearly exposition like more than the other films and it wast that good. Worst one yet. There's like nothing to it and it's way too long. Zero character development which is ducking ridiculous. It's also really badly shot and I just wonder what Peter jackson is even doing
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues
7/10
Lots of great stuff, yet has noticeably weak areas. Several spots had me laughing until I couldn't laugh any more without choking, but other times I would have just a quick chortle or nose breathing. Several old jokes make appearances, but play out in a way that gives the movie its own legs, instead of relying on the hope that since we found it funny before, we'll find it funny again. The ending is much better than the first Anchorman, though it couldn't have been hard to top it.
There were at least 4 scenes that, had they been allowed, would have caused an implosion and destroyed everything. I'm talking about the scenes with Brick and [sp]the retarded seceretary[/sp]. They were the worst parts of the whole movie. Too long, focused completely on mental deficient crazy awkwardness instead of actual jokes, and had the chick that used to be on Saturday Night Live (whom I dislike a lot).
I have to agree with you there A B.A
Went to see Anchorman 2 at the Cinema and they had it on the fancy new screen projection systems so it was literally crystal clear along with crisp audio.
I didn't mind Brick and his [sp]lover[/sp] I thought they were pretty funny but yes it was awkward, I laughed really hard at the scene where [sp]they had another network fight, I did feel like there was totally too much there but i didn't mind that because the way they pulled it off was quite good, I was surprised to see ol' Sacha representing the BBC but I thought Jim Carry representing CBC (or whatever they called themselves) was odd even though he is Canadian but I loved how they apologized for everything. Also Kanye West for MTV news, I thought when the Monster came out and how Kanye said "Remind me to tell Micheal Jackson to do a music video on that" made me giggle but I thought that was a good little tribute to him.[/sp]
Anyway I didn't mind it I thought it was great, solid 3.5/5 for me
What pissed me off the most was my Brother bought his friends along and they along with him included didn't even watch the first Anchorman so they were confused during most of it and I told him straight up he was a fucking dickhead for watching this but yeah
All 3 star wars prequels
awful
I saw the phantom menace as a kid and even then I thought it was shit.
Robert Ebert gave the phantom menace 3.5/4 stars
Let that sink in
Roger Ebert had a lot of shit opinions.
Captain Philips
9/10
Brilliantly filmed

How an opinion could possibly be shit? It's an opinion for Christ's sake.

I know right?! Much better than the other two. The other two were so outdated and I hated all the dumb Egypt stuff. Also in the movies its like the world is stuck in the 90s its so weird. I mean, if they all had cell phones and GPS and stuff they could probably largely avoid most of the bad stuff. Funny how I'm smarter than the people in the movie lol :)

They got 80% of it right.
Why is Iron Man 3 on that list?
[editline]21st December 2013[/editline]
It's the only movie on that list that's actually good.
Why is Iron Man 3 on that list?
Because fans of the comic were butthurt as hell about the Mandarin.
Just remember that this list was compiled from the votes of over half a million people, not the people at Rifftrax themselves.
Elysium - 5.5/10
Literally the only thing that kept this movie from pure mediocrity were the awesome weapons and the fight scenes.
It was so preachy and gay that I was cringing the whole time and they made Kruger try to sound like this really crazy badass but only succeeded in making a manchild with a retarded accent.
I mean at one point I sware I heard the nantucket lady yell "call homeland security and apprehend those illegals!!"

Opinions are subjective ergo they are up to individual subject.
But I guess for example saying "Orlando Bloom is a great actor, solely because he's cute" is a shit opinion because it doesn't make any logical sense (because there's no correlation between looks and acting skills), or "Drive is the best movie ever created cuz I say so" because it doesn't explain the point or don't have any reasonable basis.
But when someone says that he enjoyed a particular movie, that wasn't critically good, or even good at all, and you have a problem with that - it's not his shit opinion or taste. It's just you being an elitist.

Finally got around to watching this and I can see why loads of people love (quoting) it. I really enjoyed the humour and I exhaled more air through my nose than usual at many times.
8/10 - Probably gonna watch the second one

Prepare for disappointment.

I was expecting something. It feels like most sequels are bad
Captain Phillips - 10/10
Tom Hanks did a really great job. One of my favorite movies
I don't know why Sweden are showing 12 Years A Slave so late, during the Christmas week, but holy fucking shit
this movie was amazing. Fassbender's performance was mindblowing (and of course, as well as many, many others).
The music was also fucking awesome. Really, really heavy movie.
89/100

well i mean. it's christmas and they're showing an extremely downer of a movie :S
not that I mind but it's not really the time of the year to expect people to watch it lol. I sorta expect shitty movies like a new hangover movie or like a stupid christmas carol remake or something
but my condolences <3
Riddick - 6/10
Started off pretty good, but turned bad real fast. Crappy ending too.
[sp]You can sorta tell they tried to please both the Pitch Black fans, and the people that actually liked the Necromongers. At parts it felt like it was trying a little too hard to be Pitch Black 2 though...The first 20 minutes or so were glorious. I wouldn't have minded if the entire film was just Riddick trying to survive on a hostile planet.[/sp]
