Evil Dead II It was far superior to the first movie in every way. I very much enjoyed it.
Pretty much this. It was risky move to completely change the story of the first one, but in the end it was definitely the better choice. All in all it was a great movie. Now I gotta watch the third.

Is that Hansel and Gretel movie worth a watch? Looks kinda Van Helsing meets Grimm Brothers.
i heard it has some p hot nude scenes
Oh well I'm gonna watch it. There should be a drinking game for this movie. Take a shot everytime you see a "3D Gimmick" (i.e *object flies towards the screen* and so on) Take a shot everytime someone puts a weapon on its own shoulder.

Supporting Characters - 8/10 I really like Lena Dunhams writing. [sp]Even if she only co-wrote it, all her other stuff is good.[/sp]
i liked hansel and gretel tbh. evil dead vibes. the main villains were boring as all hell but it was close to being a pretty solid fantasy action film. if it just had better and more interesting villains it woulda been really cool. i still liked it though, it was undoubtedly trashy however. which is not always a bad thing.
Metropolis (Giorgio Moroder version) - 9/10 Fritz Lang's film is modernized in a 80s fashion in this fun exciting version of the 1920s film. The movie is a technical achievement and should be seen by everyone. Giorgio Moroder's soundtrack in the film brings it to it's heart, with thrilling songs from Queen and other bands. I plan to own this masterpiece
Yeah, this Hansel & Gretel movie wasn't anything special. Kinda like a movie you'd watch and laugh at while drinking with friends. I had thought it'd be some teen action shit, but it seemed to be quite grim. It was neither a good nor bad film IMO, but it isn't a movie that'll leave an impact on you. Watch it with friends and laugh at how obscene it is.
Judge Dredd - 6.5/10 Entertaining action movie, but nothing more. The setting was awesome and I liked how stylized it was, but the story was extremely basic. Definitely worth a watch though.
Kill List - 7/10 I really liked it. The whole film led up to the ending and while I was still sort of shocked at the massive change of tone, it felt right. One of the few films that has legitimately frightened me and kept me on the edge of my seat. Michael Smiley is an amazing actor. The violence, while really fucking strong, didn't seem out of place either. I'd recommend it.

Extras (TV series) Why have I only just seen this. It was absolutely hilarious throughout both seasons and had a surprisingly good storyline. It could have worked as a drama alone.
Pink Flamingos I enjoyed it. It was quite pleasant. I liked the part when the naked man opens and closes his butthole. 9/10
The Great Gatsby - 5/10 I dunno, I just didn't like it. Bad use of music in the first half (Lets put modern music over everything woah), stylised in a way that reminded me of moulin rouge and needlessly dragged out. This is a film you can afford to miss.
modern music mixed in with old time periods is not a bad thing, you just have to have it done right (see: Django Unchained).
No yeah, and I really liked it in Django but here they did it because they must've felt it added to the style, but it detracts so much.

Lilya 4 Ever 8.5/10 Very fucked up movie, but it brought up something you don't see often in movies, which is the sex trade. The whole movie was depressing as shit, but both of the main actors did a really good job especially considering how young they both were when the movie was made. The movie has almost the same vibe as Requiem for a Dream during the ending though, it has the same effect of making me feel like utter shit after watching it, like right now unfortunately. Here's a trailer for it. [editline]16th May 2013[/editline]
shame - it was pretty good. the dialogues were really well written imo, and i really liked some of the long 1 shot scenes. it is however sort of slow paced, therefor not suitable for anyone
I loved Shame, there may not be much dialogue but like you said, the parts with dialogue were really well done. Hunger was another great movie made by the same guy who made Shame, I like McQueen's style.
Star Trek: Into Darkness. Great film, great action scenes and a pretty good story. Cumberbatch was pretty good as [sp]Khan[/sp]. I'd give it an 8.5/10, consistently good but it felt like it could be better.
Cumberbatch was pretty good as[sp]Khan[/sp].
Fixed. Dude, u gotta spoiler tag that.

Also I saw the Conan remake as well recently, it was fucking horrible. I'd give it a 3 or 4 out of 10, I actually fell asleep halfway through the movie. The scenes with Ron Perlman were kind of ridiculous because I like him in other movies, but his performance was really off in the movie and it just looked weird seeing him in the movie. As for Jason Momoa, I think the guy can be a great actor, especially after seeing him as Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones, but his acting in this movie was shit. The only person in the movie who had some decent acting was probably Rose McGowan but even her performance felt a bit overdone. I was considering stopping the movie and never watching the rest of it, but as with most movies I usually just finish it until the end since I want to be able to judge the whole movie, even if I know it's shit, thankfully I don't watch very movies this bad often. I can see where some people said the movie felt like watching a video game though, just because a lot of the time there would be some short dialogue and it felt like there was going to be a gameplay sequence right afterwards. The movie consisted of mostly action and the story was very weak. The only thing in the movie that was kind of decent was the cgi. I have no clue how the hell people can tolerate movies like this, it's garbage.
Evil Dead Holy shit that movie was quite intense, pretty unpredictable and genuinely scared. It had some epic moments and I liked the plot, even if it's pretty standart stuff. Usually I dislike horror movies of that kind because they are generic and predictable, but this one was really different. Also the characters weren't as annoying, especially for younger adults. The best thing is that I was watching it in a carmovie kind of thing with my girlfriend and she was scared as shit because it was really dark. The funniest thing is that the people who organised this hired some guys to walk around the cars to frighten them. Anyway it was pretty neat. Cumberbatch doesn't play Khan, he plays a new character called John Harrison.
