Karate-Robo Zarbogar What..What the fuck did I just watch? What? I just wish that I had the badassery before having sex with a cyborg "THIS IS MY FIRST TIME, BUT I WILL DO MY BEST, HYA!" then strike a cool karate pose. 8 cyborg dinosaur tits out of 10
I forget about this thread too often. K-On Movie, 8/10, really complimented the main series.
I think I need to disown my brother.
the amount of people I know who hated Cabin in the Woods is way too high Yesterday I watched Antichrist not really sure what I was in for other than it was Lars Von Trier's take on a horror movie and uh I guess he definitely succeeded. Enjoyed isn't really the right word but I thought it was a good movie. A bit harrowing and at points hard to watch (although I couldn't look away even though I really wanted to) It's the kind of graphic violence I could totally see people calling exploitive or there purely for shock value but the plot was definitely deep enough to be able to justify everything that happened either through just the character's emotions or through symbolism ([sp]putting the wrong shoes on Nic constantly and putting the millstone through her husband's leg both work in the level that she didn't want either of them to leave him (Nic wandering so much, fearing her husband was going to leave her) but also that she felt all men are inherently evil and need punished, there could be more to the reasons for constricting their movement idk. Maybe stop them from freely doing whatever they want in case they do something awful.) and like her cutting off her clit (mega cringe :() is her punishment for what I think could be sex addiction which led to the death of her child, probably more to it), asking him to hit her during sex the same etc[/sp] its definitely a smart film and not some cheap piece of exploitation cinema like I saw some people on imdb call it (but imdb is a bad community generally so) It's also absolutely outstanding visually. Amazing camerawork, the forest is eerily beautiful, the scenes are outstanding. Strong 7/10 I'd reckon. I'll be looking into more of Lars Von Trier's films after this.
I'll be looking into more of Lars Von Trier's films after this.
watch Breaking The Waves, it's his best imo.
sunshine 7.5/10
Vengance is mine (1979) Credits to AK'z for this one. Story of a serial murderer who seems to kill for thrills and no other reason. He's an instinctual character without conscience or anything guiding him other than what takes his fancy. His methods are quite hands on and his manner is somewhat gentlemanly yet unpredictable. There was a couple of sex scenes and one of them was very well done. Its a good watch, maybe a little drawn out in places but worthwhile.
Just watched Pandorum (2009) Holy shit, how have I never heard of or seen this film before. An amazing sci-fi horror, think Event Horizon mixed with Sunshine and a bit of Dead Space. 7/10
There Will be Blood (2007) - 8/10 Quite slow to start but when it got going I was really hooked on the protagonist's behaviour and how it progressed. Solid acting, thoroughly entertaining and great movie overall. Would watch again in a few months.
Star Trek into Darkness - 8.5/10 Great movie. Though even though there were a few flaws [sp] Leonard Nimoy's cameo, the Spock/Kirk death reversal via Wrath of Khan[/sp] It was still a pleasant experience
Iron Man 2, again. Plot was pretty awful, characters were dumb, but all the robots and shit looked soooooo rad. Giving it a 6/10 just because I love Iron Man :V.
Oldboy 9/10
watched the amazing spiderman. it was pretty cool, definitely better than the toby mcguire movies. stan lee's cameo was great.
Friends With Benefits. I think i can give it a 8.5/10 because of justin timberlake's amazing play, but mila kunis? i think she didnt fit in. Or she did. Anyways, sex scenes were pretty good, film actually had good comedy, and i realized that i need a gay friend somehow.
his avengers and iron man 3 cameos were better, though.
His Iron Man 3 cameo was a 10/10
His Iron Man 3 cameo was a 10/10
I think his iron man 3 cameo was the only joke I laughed at in the entire film
I didn't notice his cameo in IM3. I must have sneezed or something.
Stan Lee can eat a dick.
Stan Lee can eat a dick.
That sounds hot
Dirty Harry 9/10 An outstanding police movie that aged very well. Not sure how I just got around to seeing it
Star Trek Into Darkness 8/10 I saw this with PC paul and it was great, too many lens flares though.
