Well of course. But I'd be interested to see how it works if at all... Not that it'd match the game at all considering the game is pretty much a masterpiece
and what was with the literal 5 second cameo of weller? it was so throwaway, even for a cameo.
wait what the fuck I don't remember that

I recommend seeing "Le temps du loup" AKA "Time of the Wolf" instead.
Ive got Time of the Wolf, not watched it yet but Michael Haneke is one of the best so I'll be watching it soon. I liked The Road a lot, not read the book tho tbf (but I do love McCarthy). I fail to see how TLOU is similar to The Road though... Just because they're both an adult and a kid in a post apocalyptic setting does not mean they're the same at all.
The Naked Gun - from the files of Police Squad! - 8/10 A triumph of absurdist humor, The Naked Gun is chock-full of brilliant sight-gags, one-liners, call-backs, and more. Perhaps its greatest strength is that, most of the time, the hilarity unfolding onscreen is played completely straight. The cinematography, soundtrack, and cast - led by the fantastic Leslie Nielsen - treat everything as gravely serious despite the obvious insanity of it all. This is a hilarious farce, the kind we don't see enough of nowadays.
That Awkward Moment- 5/10 Not truly awful but there was potential for more. A talented cast give lackluster performances thanks to shoddy direction and a lackluster script that was almost good. The 3 main characters are Zac Efron, who is overall ok but definitely has potential to be better, as Jason, a womaniser who keeps a "roster" of women to cycle round without any real commitment. Michael B Jordan, who starred in one of my favourite films last year (Fruitvale Station), plays Mikey, a married man going through a potential divorce as he finds out his wife is sleeping with her lawyer, giving honestly quite a bad performance here. I know he can do better as he was fantastic in Fruitvale Station. Miles Teller gives the best performance in the film as the silly but charming Daniel who is falling for his best friend. The film is basically about the three of them not dating to help Mikey through his tough time (idk), though each of them falls for a different person and tries to hide it from the others. There's actually interesting potential for Zac Efron's character as being rather manipulative and not really caring about people at all, and it does touch on it but the film sacrifices depth for jokes and cliche. I did find this to be consistently amusing, however a lot of the jokes weren't as funny as they thought they were. Some stuff was pretty great though. Jason and Daniel's boss was hilarious every time. The really awkward scene that goes on far too long where he tries to act cool or whatever was far better than this kind of film would have generally produced, it was genuinely funny. Overall the film is not as terrible as it probably should have been. It struggles to balance between being a rom-com and a guy's buddy movie, but there are some good parts. Not really recommended but not horribly discouraged. Dallas Buyers Club- 7/10 When bringing this film up, most people talk about the acting from Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto. Reason being, it's the best part of the film. This film is not amazing, however the acting is. It's a very good story that's well told. The direction is solid, and it looks very good considering it was shot in 25 days with natural light. The film at times did drag, though, and I honestly thought the film was 30 minutes longer than it was. It also lacked some of the emotional depth that Iwould have expected. Recommended, however the film is only really great due to the acting. The film would be good with just solid acting, but the performances are what really make it worth watching. I'd recommend it but I'd say lower the expectations a little and remember that most of the acclaim is towards McConaughey and Leto, not the film itself. Frozen (rewatch)- 9/10 Okay, I'll tone down my 10 because that's a bit silly, but I still really fucking love this movie. Went to see it in the cinema with my little brother cos I really wanted to watch it again. It still brought on the same emotion and power, and is pretty much just as great as I remembered, except the film drags a little bit in the second act however it's not like that part of the film isn't still good. The film is incredibly powerful, once again really tugging at the heartstrings within the first 10 minutes and continuing to do so for the rest of the movie. The soundtrack is great, I really love just about all the songs and their double meanings (being both plot related and also talking about depression/anxiety and true love). Through out the film there'll be something, be it an image, line of dialogue or a bit of a song, that really resonates with me that just strikes sadness and the feels. I still really love the film's more realistic portrayal of love too. I really need to watch Wreck it Ralph because between this and Tangled (as Frozen deals with depression, Tangled does an abusive relationship), Disney are absolutely back on top form and I really can't wait to see what they do next. Tangled and Frozen are two of the best disney movies I've seen easily. jack reacher plot wasn't very actiony and at no point did I ever really feel engaged, it was pretty slow. it felt like a 40 minute episode of criminal minds or CSI or something stretched into 2 hours. That being said the actual revelation in the plot in good and somewhat creative, but there were so many little sub-stories to remember it got really confusing as to why [sp]he was being followed by gangsters and why they were killing each other and shit[/sp] 6.5/10
Cast Away - 9/10 I was a little confused on the ending but other than that I loved it. made me cry a little at some parts
is kill bill vol 2 better than the first one? i saw vol 1 and while i did like it, i don't get all the hype
Vol 2 is rather different, and good in it's own right. However, I think Vol 1 is much better.
It's not that vol. 2 is better, rather that they both work much better as a whole.
Cast Away - 9/10 I was a little confused on the ending but other than that I loved it. made me cry a little at some parts
the ending is so easy to understand, look at what direction he's facing...
It's not that vol. 2 is better, rather that they both work much better as a whole.
That too.
is kill bill vol 2 better than the first one? i saw vol 1 and while i did like it, i don't get all the hype
i think vol 2 is a much more intriguing film, vol 1 was a bit of fun.
I watched them both once when I had a bad fever, don't remember much of them because I was in and out of awareness, but from what I remember I liked the first one better (judging this based on I was awake for more of the first one). Take my judgment with a grain of salt though, I was delusional.
ofc the first is more memorable on the off, it's packed with great stunts. the second was a lot more personal and revealing, deffo a top 3 tarantino for me.
despite loving Tarentino I really did not at all like Kill Bill. I didn't feel for any of the characters whatsoever
wait what the fuck I don't remember that
hes an omnicorp bodyguard near the end of the movie who alerts everyone that robocop is coming to the roof iirc [editline]12th February 2014[/editline] either he's just uncredited, or it was just a guy who looks a shitload like him. [editline]12th February 2014[/editline] but it was a closeup of just him, being like 'sir robocop is coming or something', which would have been an entirely unnecessary shot if it weren't for it being a cameo. but now i am second guessing myself.
I don't think that was Weller. I can't find anything attributing it to him and he's spoken negatively about the reboot to the press.
Yeah old Pete very kindly gave the reboot a thumbs down (surprised he didn't lace it with expletives actually)... I seriously doubt he had a cameo in it. I haven't watched it yet, but perhaps they intentionally picked someone who looked similar to him, to get just this kind of reaction.

oh yeah here's what they did to Basil Poledouris' classic theme
they literally just dubstepped over it dubstepping over things should be a federal offense
There were so many scenes where the original theme would've fit very well I want to make an edit that places the theme over every scene where Murphy's wife is crying/about to cry (hint: it's all of her scenes)
Those youtube comments for that vid are also pretty terrible.
i can't wait for the half in the bag
I don't think that was Weller. I can't find anything attributing it to him and he's spoken negatively about the reboot to the press.
It's possible he did the cameo beforehand, and seeing what they did to his original role he probably left the experience with a bad taste in his mouth. The same thing happened with the original A-Team actors who cameoed in the movie.
Secret of Nimh - 3/5 Not as good as I thought it would be. I thought the storyline was pretty "meh" but it can be blamed on how short it's.
i can't wait for the half in the bag
I can, I literally just have to sit on my ass to do it.
oh man... monuments men not doing so good on the reviews front :/ here's to hoping it's just the rotten tomato pillocks causing that
Out of the furnace - 8/10 absolutely loved it. it's nothing spectacular and the ending is pretty weird and might not be for everyone but i really loved it, was immersed into that little place the movie takes place in and just enjoyed it thoroughly. it has great music, scenery and damn good acting from Casey Affleck and Christian Bale. one thing that i didnt understood was the last shot, can anyone explain?\ [editline]asd[/editline] its really not similair to The Fighter or anything, Christian bale was great and all but like I said the movie hasnt got anything spectacular worth nothing besides the acting, but overall everything just works well together and thats what makes it a great movie for me also woody harrelson is sick
