It's weird knowing you've seen a movie, but are completely unable to remember a single facet about it.
I know I've seen The Intouchables, and I remember liking it, but I don't remember a damn thing about it.

The first thing to remember is that the film is french, but the funny thing is half way through the movie you start to not notice the subtitles as much but you can still understand most of the film.
What do you people think of The Dark Knight Rises?
A bit of a mess. Some good visuals and clever moments (plus Bane is a pretty great villain design) but a lot of plot holes, nonsensical behaviors, and confusing moments bring it down.
I think saying TDKR is the worst film Nolan's ever done wouldn't be too heinous to say.
Jackie Brown
4/5
I can't believe I put this one off for so long. Robert Forester was great.
Android Cop (2014)
I impulse bought this at Best Buy because it had Michael Jai White on the cover holding a repainted nerf gun and Charles S. Dutton was in it for some reason.
There was no nerf gun and Charles S. Dutton only had two scenes.
Wasn't that the new Asylum movie?
guardians of the galaxy trailer is out and it looks v bad
v bad-ass I think you mean.
v shitty tryhard whedon rip off i think u mean

oh its the dude who made Slither. no surprise it looks bad. that film was sooo shit
v shitty tryhard whedon rip off
What does that even mean?
mostly from the dialogue-- it was awful. felt forced and tried to be that kind of casual-playful sarcasm that Joss Whedon does but it doesnt work at all and its cringey. I mean Joss Whedon hasn't really nailed it except from Firefly but he does it better than people trying to replicate him lol. Whoever that main dude playing starlord (what an awful awful name goddamn) seemed to be a bad actor though and his delivery was not good which didn't help with it feeling forced.
[editline]19th February 2014[/editline]
wait its that dude from Parks and Rec. He should stick to parks and rec.
frozen - 8/10
really enjoyed it
starlord (what an awful awful name goddamn)
What's so awful about it?
its so lame and generic and dumb... Sounds like something from a bad kids show or something. "Starlord". wtf.
its so lame and generic and dumb... Sounds like something from a bad kids show or something. "Starlord". wtf.
It's like the character originates from something that was meant for kids and teens.
Yeah the name might sound a bit lame to someone but I can't really see the awfulness of it.
Besides, at least he isn't named 'star-man' I.e "something-man" like how a lot of superheroes are called.

Starlord is his name from the comics, it doesn't look lame and generic as you ptu it. I mean fucking Vin Diesel is in a superhero movie now. James Gunn is a good director. Watch Super. You shouldn't judge a movie from a trailer. I mean Iron Man 3 looked very great, but you know how that turned out
I saw Super it was a good movie but this still looks bad, to me its a very lame name. im aware its the name from the comic. duh. Yea if Iron Man 3's trailer looked good but ended up being average imagine how shit GOTG will be
[editline]19th February 2014[/editline]
and u are definitely allowed to judge movies from their trailers?? Thats the fucking point of a trailer?? It wasnt even a bad trailer in terms of what trailers do tbh, I mean it introduced the characters but didn't spoil the plot or anything like that. The trailer was fine. The content was bad.
mikey are you forgetting that even the characters in the movie find starlord to be a dumb name
A.I. Artificial Intelligence because I had to for a film class. I don't like it. At all.
Wasn't that the new Asylum movie?
Yes.
It ended up just being dumb and boring instead of stupid enjoyable shlock.
The Asylum dont make good-bad movies. They just make bad-bad movies and I dont get the hype around their supposedly so bad it's good quality because literally no one that goes on to watch the films actually enjoys them
they're 15 minutes of sometimes fun shlocky action and 80 minutes of really bad acting and dialogue and poor production values. They're just really really boring and awful.

You mean the very same thing other characters bitch about in the trailer? About the character who's constantly portrayed as incompetent and childish?
I'm watching the Company of Heroes film now and oh god it's so bad
The only reason I'm watching it is Vinnie Jones
Everything about this film so far is just wrong. It's not entirely shit but it could easily be better
Why of all tanks, would they choose T-34s to dress up as Panzers?
Since when was Vinnie Jones a reason to watch anything
Cos he's a top lad
Lords of Salem - 7/10
I can see why people didn't like it, but personally I enjoyed it a lot, I'd probably even go as far to say that this was one of Rob Zombie's best films yet, dunno it was just enjoyable from how different it was and not what everyone was expecting it to be.
Also, dat ending.

The whole thing about people going on about The Asylum is that it's easily available. Their movies are always on SyFy, so more people see them and think they are the definition of good-bad movies. It's all they are exposed to, they don't watch the home video-era stuff like Deadly Prey or Xtro or whatever.

Slither was awesome.
Unless you hate good horror comedies.
as someone who enjoys a good horror comedy slither is just an example of a bad horror comedy

It does have Nathan Fillion though
