it wasn't bad but I expected more from Adele Dazeem.
Song of the South 10/10
Captain Yank 2 - 8/10
A predictable, but enjoyable addition to the Marvel franchise, the Captain America movies have definitely been my favourite from the Avengers series.
Everyone's Hero 7/10
I had a mixed reaction to Noah. It felt like a really dark bible movie, and it was just darker than you'd expect.
The Pride of the Yankees 10/10
When Harry Met Sally 7/10
Big 10/10
Frozen - 8/10
It was well made, nicely animated, and it was an all-around feel-good movie. Olaf wasn't as bad as I expected him to be, he was actually pretty funny at times. But something that's really been bugging me was why didn't [sp]Hanz just kill Elsa when he and his group first got to her ice castle? If his real intentions were to become the king of Arendele, then why did he go as far as to push that guy's crossbow away from Elsa so it wouldn't kill her?[/sp] He was an insanely inconsistent character in general, and it damaged the movie a lot in my opinion.
Also Let it Go is overhyped. First Time in Forever is better, and they're not even that great.

Also the whole [sp]~LOVE CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE, LOVE IS THE ANSWER~[/sp] just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I started watching frozen but they wouldn't stop singing and i really wasn't in the mood so I gave up.
musicals in general are pretty cringey imo. part of why i couldn't really enjoy tangled or frozen that much

80% of the songs are in the first quarter of the movie, I'm completely serious.
To be fair a majority of Disney films have singing throughout the movie, but I wouldn't really consider them to be musicals.
Obviously the music in Frozen was catered towards kids today, just like Hakuna Matata was catered towards a majority of us when it was released.
In saying that the music from Frozen is nowhere near as good as the likes of The Lion King, or Beauty and the Beast. I don't think Frozen's music is bad at all, it's just catchy as all fuck.
Every Disney film (at least since the renaissance) has had that one song that was perhaps more poppy than the other songs, they usually have a radio version of that song sung by a popular singer as well.
Like Hercules had Go the Distance, which had a version sung by fucking Michael Bolton.
sorry but I enjoyed Frozen
i enjoyed it too but i didn't think it was anything special
american hustle
7.5/10
fantastic performances all around. christian bale really transformed himself for his role. good stuff.

The animation was.
On the other hand...
Rio 2
Not good at all. Unforgettable pointless sequel that doesn't really go anywhere. (And the songs in the movie are really pointless too).
let's be realistic for a moment
the only good animated musical films are the 2D ones, or the stop-motion ones.
cgi just doesn't belong there.
They have the technology to make amazing stuff with CGI, so why can't it belong there?

You probably haven't seen the good musicals, yet. I'm speaking about these meant for adults, performed by real actors/singers.
I was skeptical of musicals too, but when I saw West End version of Les Miserables and I was blown away.
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986); 8/10.
I haven't chuckled my way through a film this much for a while.
speaking of musicals I really want to go see the book of mormon but tickets are expensive like 100 bux
i saw it in boston, it owned
Muriel's Wedding
Maybe if I hadn't gone into it expecting a chick flick romcom (it started off that way certainly) I would have liked it better (weird thing to say I guess). It turned out to be really morbid, I felt bad for laughing at half the things I did and was just surprised/horrified the rest of the time. In the end it just made me scared of the real world :v:
I want to rate it 6/10 but I feel like it deserves a lot more than that, but if I rated it a 7 or an 8 it just seems average because of distortion of the perception of out of ten ratings. It's above average certainly. I think the second time I watch it I will either reaffirm 6/10 or give it something like 8 or 9.

I only heard about it that it was created by the guys from South Park. And saw the beginning of it at the Tony Awards few years back and it looked and sounded fucking awesome:

Related to this, I saw Tangled and don't understand why people praise it so much. It was 100% forgettable. Probably a 5/10 at best. Neither atrocious nor anything interesting.

i loved how Trey was the voice of god
Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones 8/10
ParaNorman 10/10
Devil's Due 7/10
Alien Abduction 2014 9/10
FrankenWeenie 10/10
omg you idiots, frozen isn't good at all. it's just a trend this year to like stuff that was previously looked down upon to like if you weren't the target demographic. if frozen came out like 2-3 years ago it wouldn't have the same reception. just look at the stupid celebrities praising it like some masterpiece, that's a fucking big sign, the fact that some cunt celebrities are jumping on the band wagon.
it was a forgettable piece of crap, and the only reason its praised as something more is because some famous cunts on twitter said it was and then more cunts followed
nah i genuinely thought it was rly good
i also like the stuff some of you pull out of your asses, like frozen is something new and groundbreaking.
i don't really hate this movie, but god damn, people talk about it like the second coming of christ. fuck off niggers
