But honestly, Jason Takes Manhattan really takes the cake. The whole goddamn concept was to put Jason in NYC and have him kill people. Not exactly rocket science. 90% of the movie takes place on the most poorly manned cruise ship ever and New York is an after thought. I admit, it's because they had no money in the budget, but I mean come on.
They're equally bad. Every film in the Friday the 13th series is a piece of shit.
The first one is alright because it had Tom Savini on the effects.
I thought The Amazing Spider-Man 2 looked awful and boy was I wrong. It was actually a very enjoyable movie. Some people are scared of the 3 villains thing bit don't be, it works out. It seriously felt like a comic book funny Spider-Man movie that didn't take it self to seriously. I thought it was going to be crap but it was good! 8/10....wellllll maybe honestly 7/10
the dialogue in TASM 2 felt so unnnatural that i thought i was watching a sitcom in some of the scenes
-last time you did your laundry all the clothes came out red and blue!
-thats because i was washing my... american flag!

Oh god yeah that awful. We were all blank face during that whole scene. There was a couple scenes in there was stupid but overall i overlooked them maybe because i was with my friends and that is probably the real reason why i enjoyed the movie more.

Friday the 13th Jason Takes Manhattan

are you a real person
Noah - 6/10
The movie is waaaay too long. It really feels like they blew all of their budget on the first part of the film before the Ark is even done, with some really good visuals and an interesting take on life before the flood. Then the flood actually happens, and things get way more classic, the budget clearly drops tenfold and things get obnoxiously slow for more than an hour.
It's weird because the visuals and theme the movie has in the first section with all the downright fantasy elements (made up animals, rock people, flaming swords, etc) are simply dropped in the second part entirely.
Actor-wise, Russell Crowe is rather good, Anthony Hopkins does the job, Jennifer Connelly plays probably the most sympathetic character of the whole movie, Emma Watson still can't act for shit and all three of Noah's kids are forgettable.
There's also a metric ton of plot holes in the movie but considering it's basing itself on the bible I guess that was inevitable. It does take some dangerous steps with the story and actually goes its way to include evolution in the whole thing, just not including humanity in it.

that is amazing
I stopped hoping that TASM 2 would be better than the first once Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (writers of Transformers 1 and 2, Cowboys and Aliens, and Star Trek Into Darkness) were brought on board.

The Sixth Sense
Some unforgettable moments including the famous ending.

Is it bad I don't want to see TASM 2 because of the reviews its been getting? The first film to me felt like a real kick in the balls especially when compared with the originals.
If you didn't like the first one, why would you see the poorly-reviewed sequel?
and why would you feel bad about that?
Young Frankenstein
I laughed at some of the parts (the darts, the corpse's arm, the big dick, Gene Hackman). I think Spaceballs was better, but that's because I saw the Star Wars movies before Spaceballs, and it has plenty of relevance to SW today. I have never seen nor read Frankenstein, so some of Young Frankenstein's scenes were lost on me.
Cannot really give it a rating until I see the movie again, but only after I watch Frankenstein.
blazing saddles is brooks' best imo

I watched Blue is the warmest color and got really annoyed at how the main character chewed her food, so I had to take a break.
