I still haven't seen The World's End, but I hear it's pretty disappointing.
It's still a funny film, just nowhere near as good as the other two Cornetto Trilogy films.
that's what that entire post was about, the problem isn't HOW time travel works, but the fact that kitty just randomly happened to be able to do it even though she never had those powers before, and nobody is even a little bit surprised
this is the future, remember, so it's possible (and has happened plenty of times before in comics/shows) that some mutants can figure out new ways to use their powers, or develop new powers altogether
how is a machine that is essentially magic any different from mutant powers that are essentially magic?
they were born with the powers, that's how they got them. there is literally no more explanation required. they are xmen
pretty much this,
it's magic/mutation, ain't gotta explain shit.
I always thought it was called the "Blood and Ice Cream" trilogy.
that's an alternate title for it, the official title is three flavours cornetto

isnt this the first time that character's appeared in a movie? the movie universe has already changed so many things, it's barely similar to the comic universe.
unless she was in a previous movie and i just forgot, it's fine to alter an xman for the screen. wolverine is supposed to be super short and angry all the time. who cares? it's not as if they did something like made batman wear hot pink
Kitty Pryde was in all of the original X-Men film trilogy, she was only given an actual role in The Last Stand, but she's been there from the start.
oh
i guess i don't remember those movies very well
either way, learned second mutation? who cares
Okay so I didn't know Kitty Pryde was the actual characters name, I thought you were all talking about the female rapper Kitty Pryde and I've been super confused this entire time
Prometheus
5/10
Cool visuals and design, good acting, but plaqued with nonsensical bullcrap.
It's like biting into a cinnamon roll and discovering that there's a bunch of walnuts and almonds inside, and you really hate nuts.
Muppets Most Wanted
9/10
love the muppets, plus that soundtrack is addicting
human leads not as great as the last movie's but this means we get more muppet songs
also constantine which is the greatest thing

you can track kitty pryde the rapper's success over recent months by google imaging the name and going by the ratio of comic book pics to qt ginger girl pics
Cold In July, 8/10
Really liked this. I hate those X MEETS Y comparisons, but saying Drive meets No Country For Old Men wouldn't be a stretch. Michael C. Hall did a wonderful job.
TDKR pandered to the lowest common denominator a lot though
"the clean slate? you mean that thing that erases all your criminal record as if it never happened leaving you to go off and continue a nomral life as a blatantly obvious piece of shoddy exposition??"
TDKR is the least good of the 3, I'm not saying "worst" by purpose.
batman 3 is the worst nolan film by a mile.

imagine if he started making more films like Memento again..
I liked how rough yet brilliant The Following was.
Insomnia, not so much but that's due to Robin Williams being kind of a misscast IMO, he's too friendly in his aura(Hook, Doubtfire aso.)
fyi the filming of the orgy scene got out of control pretty quickly
what

watch One Hour Photo then Robin Williams will change forever 4 u.
what
The huge party where they put the aphrodisiac into the food, some of the couples never knew each other before the scene and kinda went on even when they were not filming.

Woah didn't know that.
Props for the realism

The Dark Knight Rises was the worst one, no doubt.
Shaun of the Dead- 10/10
I watch this movie at least once a year and it gets better every time I watch it. I usually notice something new and interesting each time.
I'm actually in the minority when I say that I like it more than Hot Fuzz, which is still an INCREDIBLY funny movie, I just seem to go back to this one more. Knowing that it's 10 years old already is kinda shocking, though.

Just watched it last night.
6.5/10 Really disappointed.
I really disliked Simon Peggs character the most, but most of the cast was quite unlikable for the most part. Unlike Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead where they take a more goofy approach to the characters and story, they make this one a bit more serious. Plus Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's relationship in this one was so forced and it felt really unrealistic compared to the previous two films. Also with this one, the story was very tough to follow and overall was quite boring. Many questions were left unanswered and the ending left a sour taste in my mouth. I'll admit though I had a few good laughs and some parts were very enjoyable. However this doesn't touch the quality of Shaun of the Dead or Hot Fuzz. I actually would not mind if they made a sequel to Hot Fuzz.

I got tricked on a dating site with someone using her picture.
The World is Not Enough
4/5
Another solid Bond film, and this was the very first Bond movie I had ever seen. Desmond Llewelyn's goodbye was rather touching, giving that he died not long after this movie. Shame they didn't keep John Cleese as Q. I think he was a good replacement. Similarly, I wish Robbie Coltrane did another movie as Zukovsky. His character was a funny bit part in GoldenEye and at least this time he hung around for a couple of scenes.
And now for (oh god) Die Another Day. Christ, the surfing has already begun.
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 - 7/10
Not really as good as the first (Which I loved) but was still pretty good. Had some dumb humor in it at times, and the plot wasn't especially interesting, but I still liked it. I also loved the animation along with how Chester V moved around.
Die Another Day
2/5
God, what a piece of shit. The writing was awful, the acting was ridiculous, the setpieces were either kinda cool or really, really batshit. The only parts I really enjoyed were the bits at M16's underground section and the intro in North Korea.
Pierce gave it his best shot, but it wasn't enough. I would have much rather had Rosamund Pike instead of Halle Barry for the Bond Girl. The guy who played Zao just didn't put in any effort whatsoever. Madonna's contributions were lame. I mean, the goddamn title song was such shit. "Sigmund Freud...ANALYZETHISANALYZETHISANALYZETHIS-
GO FUCK YOURSELF MADONNA!
At least For Your Eyes Only was just really boring. This sucked so much. It almost deserves the 1, but I only reserve that to movies that put no effort into it on any front. So as it stands, it's a 2. But now, it's behind me. Farewell, Pierce Brosnan. Welcome, Daniel Craig.

Taken 2
3/5
Decent movie. Had good action and kept me entertained. Though it lacked the punch and severity that the first movie had, but the plot kinda became predictable and they pulled some shit that made me really question my suspension of disbelief, with stunts such as [sp]throwing grenades in populated cities so that they can use the explosion sound to calculate distance, murdering a cop in broad daylight with absolutely no repercussions, an unfeasible car chase with Liam Neeson being the back seat driver to his daughter who didn't even have a driver's license which culminated in them crashing into the US Embassy while destroying the checkpoint and nearly killing several US Soldiers (again with absolutely no repercussions,) and finally the idea that an ex husband and wife can somehow still be friends.[/sp]

Look up the film Ip Man, it's on Netflix. It's incredibly well shot foreign action film.
Ip Man is a Chinese/Hong Kong film tho.
