I saw django twice, both on 35mm. Was cool as hell and really added to the authenticity of the homage he was going for.
I honestly don't get watching a movie more than 2-3 times, unless you're doing a serious, in depth examination of it.
My brother finds shitty comedies and will watch them 10-15 times in the span of three months.
Notable examples include: Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey (The second one, not the first one though) and Paul Blart: Mall Cop.

I like to revisit movies after a couple of months. I've seen most of my Blu-Ray collection 2 or 3 times.
I didn't even notice that there was one dude playing two different dudes in Django until I watched it again.
Resolution
I wasn't expecting much going into this movie, the premise of a guy chaining his friend up in a cabin to kick his meth addiction didn't sound too exciting, but I was pleasantly surprised. That aspect of the movie is actually very minor and servers as a plot device for a far more interesting story. It reminded me a bit of The Blair Witch Project in its mystery and reluctance to rely on jump scares. There are some truly unnerving scenes in there. My only real issue is it does go a bit creepypasta towards the end, I would prefer that it stayed more grounded in reality.
Overall, good/yeah.
Transcendence 6.5/10 I guess?
It started really strong, but at the end the AI, the super intelligence, the being that is smarter than all of humankind combined suddenly made some really bad decisions. What the hell movie? What the hell?!
I do like [sp]how the AI was good all long and the anti-technology humans were the bad guys. The only other movie I can think of that did that is AI. I really hated how the good AI in I, Robot (the movie) was made out to be evil even though it always did what was best for humanity.[/sp]

I have watched Anchorman 1 and Zoolander an unhealthy amount of times... :suicide:
why would you watch the same film in theaters multiple times
in fact the only film i've ever watched more than once in the theater is Pokemon: The First Movie. never again
i saw the avengers and prometheus twice in theaters. sue me you big bitch.
prometheus
I understand the hype, being mistaken by the trailers and not reading any comments on the internet beforehand, but how the fuck you did the second time? Did you walk by mistake there and were unable to leave?

I've seen Fight Club and Memento about 10 times both.
Edge Of Tomorrow 7/10 pretty good
Not in Production/Cinematography or acting but for me it gets bonus points for bringing more sci-fi to the mainstream. I like Cruise's new love for that.

it was in the same weekend, first was with friends and second was with my sisters, and i wanted to see it again to make sure i didn't miss anything.
because it's not a horrible movie, it just has some hella bad flaws to it.

Twice or thrice I totally get. But past that. I don't.

ah, so that's what a 9/10 feels like.

I've only watched The Good, the Bad and the Ugly around 3 or 4 times in total, and I consider it my favourite film.
But then on the other hand I've watched Frozen more than 5 times just in this year alone (and I will watch it many more times over the years).
Some films just lend themselves to repeated viewings more than others.

Not enough.
I saw Frozen twice in theaters :v:
I only saw frozen once, because I liked it a lot but knew that if I saw it again I'd realise it wasn't as good as I thought, but I wanted to keep thinking it was good
if that makes any sense whatsoever
Not enough.
Oh boy, come to think of it, I haven't actually watched The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
I think it's time to finally scratch it off my watchlist.

watch goodfellas to see what a 10/10 feels like

i saw frozen thinking it was going to be great and about snowmen
i was disappointed
but apparently i was like the only one to not like it and i felt like maybe i didnt watch it right or something
so yea, i feel the same way
i've already seen goodfellas
i don't believe it's a 10/10, though 9.5 is a perfectly reasonable score.

if goodfellas isnt a 10/10, what is?
I finally got around to watching Drive, and holy shit. 10/10.
I knew right from the start it was gonna be one of those "love it or hate it" movies, but it was amazingly well crafted. The soundtrack was great, and I love how little dialogue there is in it. It's a great change of pace. It's really surprising that I haven't seen many people giving it love aside from Hotline Miami fans.
Goodfellas is a 7.5 imo. Taxi driver is a 10/10 tho

Flip those scores and you got it right by my book. Although I do need to see Taxi Driver again, I didn't give it my full attention the first time I watched it.
Raging Bull, on the other hand, THAT'S a masterpiece.
Knight and Day -1/10
the fucking worst piece of trash I've seen this year.
who thought it was a good idea to make an entire movie about an annoying whiny bitch, it's like they want to piss you off on purpose.
It's really surprising that I haven't seen many people giving it love
Go to /tv/ sometime, it's their second-favorite movie
whats first
watched the lego movie again
it's probably in my top... 30 films, maybe my top 20. just because it's so flipping entertaining. laughed out loud at least ten times
whats first
either problem child 2, superbabies: baby geniuses 2, or the room.
