Clooney formally apologised for that he genuinely thought he ruined the franchise
Battle Royale - 7/10
More entertaining and relatable than the Hunger Games. Some of the dialogue was awful though (likely due to translation problems and cultural differences) and some parts were overly melodramatic. And the ending was kind of anticlimactic.

His fucking character and performance was so fucking bad, it wasn't even enjoyably bad.
He should have worn a hat that said "I'm ACTING"
I like George Clooney's voice, but something about his face and how he acts rubs me wrong.

Ah yes, Batman and Robin.

might as well bring out the big one

George Clooney was hardly the worst thing in Batman and Robin imo.
Wasn't Batman and Robin the one with Alfred's niece with the incredibly thick British accent?
She tried a British accent.

At least I think she tried.

That's a thing posters need to bring back
(actor)
IS
(title of movie/character)
I was always confused why on posters with multiple characters, they don't line the name up with the actor on the cover. It'd always jumbled up.
Anyone share this feeling

they probably put the more well known names further left because we read left to right and will more likely become interested after seeing a name we recognize

Part of the contract is your name being placed first or second or whatever
Yea it's politics basically
Bicentennial Man.
I only just got round to watching this following the unfortunate death of Robin Williams, felt like something of a tribute night was appropriate and we started with this. I thought it was incredible and how it flopped at the box office is beyond me. Williams' performance was brilliant, as was the guy from Jurassic Park. It makes you experience the whole spectrum of human emotions, watch it.
9.5/10
heat - 10/10
got bought this movie before i ever saw it, which is usually a bad move
first time i saw it (when i first got it), i expected different and didnt like it
since i owned it, i decided to pop it in again, but tried to expect a crime movie instead of something like mission impossible
i see no reason as to why it shouldnt get a 10/10, really flawless
as for the cloonster

probably his best performance

In all honesty, I find billing one of the most fascinating things about film industry. It's amazing to what lengths can lawyers and producers go to achieve consensus.
The most famous poster and best example how it works is the one for Towering Inferno:
[t]http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-3ooshvL2s1Q/Tavjj4th9QI/AAAAAAAAJ8A/hFNqZvKrahk/s1600/The-Towering-Inferno-Moive-Poster.jpg[/t]
The film has two main leads - Steven McQueen and Paul Newman. Neither is more important than the other, at least according to the contract. Their appearance on the poster was solved this way - Steve McQueen got the left side (which is more important than the right, because we read from left to right), but Paul Newman's name was slightly higher on the right side (because we read from up to bottom). The film also stars William Holden and Faye Dunaway, but their contracts weren't as good as McQueen's and Newman's and that's why their names at the center are slightly lower.
Order of the rest of the cast is alphabetical, because they didn't have top billing in their contracts.
Sadly, this is a poster from 1974. Nowadays, posters are designed by graphics, and billing is later slapped by lawyers without any consultation.

Primer 9/10
It has been a while that a movie has me quizzed hours and hours after watching it, recommending this movie BIG TIME!
Just saw Her. Beautiful film.
just saw the new sin city, and it really should be criminal its not doing as good as it should be. i didnt love it as much as i do the first, but damn was it still great. stories werent as interesting to follow as the first, but still kept me captivated and interested, and while (probably) some didnt like how much the first one jumped between the individual stories as much as it did, i liked that and would have been pleased to see it do that more often in this. it stayed on the stories longer than it did in the first. the whole noir black-and-white thing it does still looks sweet, narration the characters do is as tight as ever, but i feel like they toned down the action and violence from the first one. maybe thats just because the books its covering are less action packed; i havent read them in a while so idk. also random christopher lloyd was great too. thought he would be doing more than just a 3-minute role, but on second thought at his age thats good enough. [sp]who wouldnt love lloyd knocking back a drink anyway?[/sp] sad to think we most likely wont get another film, but i wasnt expecting a sequel to the first one anyway so i should count my lucky stars. cant remember if what they touched upon was the end of the books anyway.
still love mickey rourkes ugly mug too.
8/10 it was pretty average -IGN
